Trump Rants About Hillary’s Email Server and James Comey: She Was Guilty Of Every Charge [VIDEO]

The New York Daily News reports:

Months into a presidency plagued by speculation about Russia connections, and President Trump still isn’t ready to move past his election opponent. Trump, in a sit-down interview with Fox Business Channel airing Wednesday, said FBI Director James Comey could have been tougher on Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server.

“Director Comey was very, very good to Hillary Clinton,” Trump said. “If he weren’t, she would be going to trial.” When asked by Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo if he wished he’d asked Comey to step down when he took office, Trump indicated “it’s not too late.” But, the President added, “I have confidence in him.”

Trump also alluded to Comey’s July testimony before Congress in which he said the FBI wouldn’t prosecute Clinton or members of her team for handling confidential information on a private email server. But Trump seems to have interpreted comments differently. “When he (Comey) was reading those charges, she was guilty of every one,” he said.

When Bartiromo asked if Trump still intends to prosecute Clinton, he waved her off, saying, “I only want to talk about positive things.”
