Sean Hannity Threatens To Sue CNN For Slander

Mediaite reports:

On his eponymous radio show Thursday Fox host Sean Hannity openly discussed the prospect of suing CNN for slander. “What does — how do I get an apology from CNN? Should I — I would love to sue them for slander when they say, “Oh he wants Hillary on her deathbed and dead,” when I said just the opposite,” he said.

CNN’s Brian Stelter incurred Hannity’s ire by accusing him of spreading conspiracy theories about Clinton’s health on his show. Hannity retaliated by calling Stelter a “little pipsqueak.”

Clinton’s recent illness doesn’t exactly vindicate Hannity, as he was telling viewers that Clinton had epilepsy — not pneumonia — and this was a month before her diagnosis.

“I know it’s hard to sue when you’re a public figure pretty much people can call you anything, and I’ve been called pretty much everything,” he continued. “But I’m thinking of suing them.” He speculated that he would retain high-profile David Boies to represent him.
