HANDS: Pulse Survivors And YouTube Stars Join For Song Benefiting Orlando Massacre Victims [VIDEO]

On Tuesday, GLAAD, in cooperation with Interscope Records, released a lyric video for the single “Hands,” which benefits the victims and families affected by the Orlando mass shooting. “Hands” — which was released July 5 — tells the story of the power held in one’s hands: “They can break the world/ They can change it too.”

The single recites lyrics that portrays the good and bad that is done in someone’s hands, including building and breaking barriers: “If a millions hands can build a wall/ A million hands can break it down.”

The video features Patience Carter, Tiara Parker and Angel Anthony Santiago, all survivors of the shooting that occurred at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, on June 12. Other notable faces include a handful of YouTube sensations, including Kingsley, Rebecca Black, Gigi Gorgeous and Scott Hoying of Pentatonix and Superfruit.

Vocalists on the track include Pink, RuPaul, Mary J. Blige, Adam Lambert, Britney Spears, and Gwen Stefani. Buy it on iTunes. The audio version of the song already has 1.7 million plays on YouTube.
