World Net Daily Calls Hillary “Fat Lady”

God’s Gentle People over at World Net Daily apparently think the above headline is ever so clever. The accompanying article, for what it’s worth, is a fairly straightforward recounting of last night’s primary results. An excerpt:

In her victory speech Tuesday to a crowd at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City, Clinton declared, “It may be hard to see tonight, but we are all standing under a glass ceiling right now.”

“Tonight’s victory is not about one person, it belongs to generations of women and men who struggled and sacrificed and made this moment possible,” Clinton said. “We all owe so much to those who came before and tonight belongs to all of you.”

“So many of you feel like you’re out there on your own, that no one has your back” she told the crowd. “Well, I do. I hear you. I see you. And as your president, I will always have your back.”

She also praised Sanders for his “extraordinary” campaign. “Let there be no mistake, Sen. Sanders, his campaign and the vigorous debate that we’ve had about how to raise income, reduce inequality, increase upward mobility, have been very good for the Democratic party and for America,” she said.
