Just in from Brian Brown:
I am writing to you today about an urgent problem. I’ve just reviewed the budget for the March and I have to admit I am concerned. We’re $25,000 short of being able to cover the costs for security, staging, sound, promotion and all the other elements that are involved in hosting an event like this.
I don’t have any choice but to turn to you and other strong supporters to ask for help. Will you please make an immediate contribution of $35, $50, $75, $100 or even $500 or more? If God has blessed you with financial success, perhaps you can even sacrifice to donate $1,000, $2,500 or even $5,000. But whatever you can manage, please make your contribution right away because the bills are mounting rapidly.
LGBT extremists and their allies in Hollywood, Wall Street and the Obama administration wish that we would just go away, stop fighting for the truth of marriage and quit battling against the imposition of their gender-bender ideology.
But we have no intention of quitting the fight, and the 2016 March for Marriage will serve notice to them, the Supreme Court and to the Washington elite that the American people stand with us in support of the truth of marriage, religious freedom and the complementarity of the sexes.
But before we can rally Americans behind this righteous cause, we need to deal with the practical realities that we’re $25,000 short of being able to pay the expected bills.
