Maddow proceeded to read off lines from people like Republican strategist Rick Wilson (“Just cancelled my hotel and plane reservations for Cleveland,”) and Redstate’s Ben Howe (“I will not vote for an egomaniacal authoritarian. Nope.”

“These are all actual quotes from discouraged Republicans,” Maddow noted at the conclusion of her bit, before joking “If you know one, be nice!”
