TRAILER: The BFG

He’s big, he’s friendly and he’s a giant. And we’re very happy to see him. A new trailer for Disney’s adaptation of the beloved Roald Dahl children’s book The BFG (aka the Big Friendly Giant) hit the Internet, and it’s just as magical, just as emotional, and just as terrifying as the book we read when we were little. The movie looks visually spectacular, between the very scale of the giants to the color palette to Sophie (Ruby Barnhill) under a blanket in her orphanage. Mark Rylance (fresh off that Academy Award win for another Spielberg movie) also looks just right as the titular giant, giving us that sense of lovable dopiness from the book.
