Log Cabin Republicans Hit Trump On Marriage [VIDEO]

David Badash writes at New Civil Rights Movement:

The Log Cabin Republicans today posted an ad demanding Donald Trump tell them where he stands on same-sex marriage. The gay GOP group as recently as December had been supportive of the Republican frontrunner, with their president proclaiming the brash billionaire is “one of the best, if not the best, pro-gay Republican candidates to ever run for the presidency.”

Yes, “Trump” and “pro-gay” in the same sentence, and it’s not the year 2000. Log Cabin president Gregory T. Angelo even bragged that Trump has “been to a gay wedding,” and is “friends with George Takei,” as if somehow that made Trump “pro-gay.” “His record doesn’t bear out that that would be an enemy to the gay community,” Angelo promised.

Badash notes that Log Cabin’s own clip shows Trump stating his opposition to same-sex marriage “over and over.”
