Rubio Tries To Out-Jesus Everybody In New Ad [VIDEO]

Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio is highlighting his Christian faith as he attempts to clip competitor Ted Cruz’s momentum in Iowa. Rubio on Thursday released a new 30-second ad that will hit the airwaves this weekend in Iowa that says he is guided by his faith — Rubio is Catholic — in everything that he does.

“The purpose of our life is to cooperate with God’s plan,” the Florida senator says in the spot. “To those whom much has been given much is expected, and we will be asked to account for that. Were your treasures stored up on earth or in heaven? And, to me, I try to allow that to influence me in everything that I do.”
