Marco Rubio Tries To Out-Jock Everybody [VIDEO]

A few days ago Marco Rubio tried to out-Jesus everybody with a campaign ad trumpeting his faith. Today he reminds everybody that he played college football and married a Miami Dolphins cheerleader. Via Politico:

The Florida senator is out on Friday with a new ad, which will air during the NFL playoff weekend, featuring Rubio catching footballs and taking questions.

The ad finishes with Rubio taking a shot at himself. Asked what is the most important preparation for a big game or speech, he responds: “Make sure there is water nearby — like right now.” As he grabs a water bottle tossed at him.

On Fox & Friends Friday morning, Rubio talked about the ad, which he said was “just another way to keep people interested.” “In the end we’re focused on the big issues before our country, but football is pretty big this week,” Rubio said.
