TEASER: Twin Peaks

Showtime has released the first teaser for its Twin Peaks revival, and just like the show itself, it’s a bit meta and very eerie. Deputy Hawk (Michael Horse) speaks in a voice-over about returning to shooting on location, reminiscing about the mystical aspects of Twin Peaks, as we watch someone unveil the town’s sign, population 51,201, same as it ever was, and the show’s classic theme music starts to play. There’s another cut, and suddenly we’re in the middle of some terrifying Lynchian dream sequence — what else did you expect?
