SNL Issues Hastily Edited Trump Promo Clip [VIDEO]

Interestingly, the clip below has already been edited to remove a dig at Ben Carson. Rolling Stone reports:

In a series of promos posted online — then quickly taken down — Wednesday, Saturday Night Live offers a sneak-peek of what it has in store when GOP presidential candidate and famous gazillionaire Donald Trump returns as host of the show Saturday. Featuring SNL cast member Cecily Strong, the promo video contains several sketches making fun of Trump for being so very Trumpish: bragging about his impressive accomplishments and excellent attributes, insulting his rivals for the GOP nomination, saying “YUGE” and being fawned over by adoring women. And of course, they make fun of his hair.

He specifically lobs a bomb at fellow Republican Ben Carson, the current frontrunner among the party. “Because of equal time rules for television, Mr. Trump can only speak for four seconds in this promo,” Strong says in one of the promos. “So let me just say this,” says Trump. “Ben Carson is a complete and total loser.” The original promo was removed from SNL’s YouTube site shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday, and replaced less than an hour later with an “updated” version from which the Carson sketch, and two others, were removed. NBC’s entertainment publicity team did not respond to an inquiry about the switch.
