Massive Labor Union Endorses Hillary Clinton [VIDEO]

Hillary Clinton today picked up the backing of the two million member SEIU labor union, long a favorite whipping boy in Teabagistan. The Hill reports:

“Hillary Clinton has proven she will fight, deliver and win for working families,” SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry said in a statement. “This movement for economic, racial, immigrant and social justice is poised to turn out to vote in November with their families and communities and keep pushing elected officials to deliver once in office,” Henry added. The SEIU, which represents 2 million union members, did not endorse Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primaries, instead supporting then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.). It’s a big win for Clinton and a major blow to her primary challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who has taken major strides to endear himself to the labor community. Despite being the first presidential candidate to support a $15 minimum wage, Sanders seems to be losing ground to Clinton when it comes to union endorsements. The former secretary of State has more than a half-dozen national unions with memberships in the millions in her corner.
