BRITAIN: Defiant David Cameron Vows Solidarity With France, Warns Of Terror Threat In UK [VIDEO]

The BBC reports:

David Cameron has warned “we must be prepared for a number of British casualties” after nearly 130 people died in “brutal” attacks in Paris. The UK PM, who convened a Cobra emergency response committee meeting on Saturday, said Britain’s terror threat level remained at “severe”, but the Paris attacks would prompt a review. He also said “however much we prepare, we in the UK face the same threat”. He told the French people: “Your pain is our pain, your fight is our fight.” Islamic State militants have claimed responsibility, and Mr Cameron said it showed the threat from the group was “evolving”, with a “new degree of planning and co-ordination and a greater ambition for mass-casualty attacks”. He added: “The terrorists’ aim is clear: it is to divide us and to destroy our way of life. So more than ever we should come together and stand united and carry on with the way of life that we love.”

Tonight London’s Tower Bridge will be illuminated in the French colors as a show of solidarity. Similar actions were taken across North America last night, including at San Francisco City Hall, the World Trade Center, and Toronto’s CN Tower.
