Tweet Of The Day

These are the people who organized Saturday’s pitifully attended hate rally at the Alabama Capitol Building. They write on Facebook:

In 1963, it was a Civil Rights issue. Alabama was wrong. Treating one group of people as second-class in favor of another is sin. “God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him” (Genesis 1:27) and “there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all.” (Romans 10:12) By his grace, men and women from “every tribe and language and people and nation,” (Revelations 5:9) will inherit the kingdom of God.

In 2015, it is a moral issue. Alabama is right. Jesus said, “…from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Mark 10:6-9) God calls homosexuality “detestable”(Leviticus 18:22) and makes it clear that without repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, homosexual offenders will not “inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9)
