Tallahassee Mayor: Screw Those Hater Counties, Come Get Married Here!

Boy wonder Andrew Gillum became a Tallahassee city commissioner at the age of 23, the youngest person ever elected to that position, serving for a year as mayor pro tem at the age of 24. Gillum was elected mayor in November 2014 at the age of 35, several months after his predecessor, former Mayor John Marks, issuing a two-minute video in support of marriage equality. Tallahassee is the county seat of Leon County, which, perhaps obviously, is not one of the fourteen counties that have suspended all courthouse weddings rather than officiate for icky gays. Thank you, Mayor Gillum!
