Weather Channel Mocks Anti-Bullying Campaign Of Gay Fort Worth Councilman

This morning gay Fort Worth City Councilman Joel Burns got the above response from the Weather Channel after he tweeted a complaint about their mobile app. Burns, you may recall, earned national headlines when he denounced anti-gay bullying during a 2010 city council meeting. The video of his emotional and tear-laden recounting of the suicides of bullied gay teens and his own experience with bullying went viral and has nearly three million views. Burns’ followers on Twitter are furious about the response from the Weather Channel.

UPDATE: Burns has a suggestion.

UPDATE II: The Weather Channel has apologized.
