The AFA Has The Rose Bowl Sadz

An urgent bulletin from the American Family Association:

The 2014 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, will feature the “wedding” of two men and will take place aboard a float sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Millions of television viewers will see two homosexual men take wedding vows on a float that will celebrate same-sex marriage. Rather than risk exposing your children to the blatant promotion of a sinful lifestyle this Wednesday morning, we urge your family to simply skip watching the entire network televised parade altogether. TAKE ACTION: Send a message to William Flinn, executive director of the Rose Bowl Parade, letting him know that you will not be tuning in to see this “in your face” promotion of homosexuality. Send Your Letter Now!

From the letter:

Dear Mr. Flinn: I am disappointed to know that the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade has allowed homosexual activists to hijack a traditionally family-friendly event. By allowing a so-called “gay marriage” ceremony to take place on one of the floats demonstrates your organization no longer respects families, children or the sanctity of natural marriage. For this reason, my family will not be watching the parade this year.

REMINDER: When Christianist groups call for nationwide boycotts of television shows or events and their advertisers, that is a righteous use of the free market in order to preserve morality, marriage, family, and the American way. But when GAY groups use or threaten the use of a boycott, THAT is homofascist intimidation, intolerance, bullying, a stifling of religious liberty, and an attempt to deny the freedom of speech. Just so we’re clear.
