Brian Brown Has A New March Number

“A diverse crowd of more than 10,000 marched today to show that those who protect marriage are on the right side of history. The fact that our supporters remained peaceful, kneeling in prayer and singing songs and chants even in the face of verbal attacks and intimidation by our opponents is a testament to the respectful way pro-marriage activists carry …

Nate Silver On Marriage Support Trends

From Nate Silver’s blog: For right now, it is probably best to treat the question of whether a majority of Americans support same-sex marriage as having an ambiguous answer. Polls are on the verge of saying that they do, but the ballot results are more equivocal. By 2016, however, voters in 32 states would be willing to vote in support …

Marriage Ban Suits Filed In Utah

Three same-sex couples yesterday filed lawsuits against Utah’s ban on gay marriage. The complaint filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Utah argues that the constitutional amendment passed in 2004 denies gay and lesbian citizens the basic right to marriage as affirmed in the interracial marriage case Loving vs. Virginia. Plaintiffs in the Utah case include gay and lesbian couples …

Pam Geller Is Pissed About Subway Ad

“In typically disrespectful and offensive fashion, Muslim Americans (for ‘Palestine’) have issued the latest blood libel against the Jews on the holy day of Passover. The Islamic supremacists announced triumphantly in a press release Friday that an ‘Israeli Apartheid ad’ was going to begin to appear in New York train stations on Monday (Passover began Monday night). ‘The American Muslims …

Liberty Counsel Has The Prop 8 Sadz

“No one can predict how the Supreme Court will ultimately rule on the Prop 8 case, but based on oral arguments today, it is possible a majority of Justices could rule that the proponents of Prop 8 lack standing and dismiss the case. If the Supreme Court goes the wrong way and rules that there is somehow a ‘constitutional right …

Sen. Jon Tester Backs Marriage

“Montanans believe in the right to make a good life for their families. How they define a family should be their business and their business alone. I’m proud to support marriage equality because no one should be able to tell a Montanan or any American who they can love and who they can marry.” – Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), writing …

Joan Walsh Vs Matthew Boyle

Not only is former Daily Caller reporter Matthew Boyle in a world of shit over his collapsing claims against Sen. Robert Menendez, this weekend on Breitbart he broke a sacrosanct ethic of journalism by revealing the spring break location of the president’s daughters.  Joan Walsh goes ballistic: Unfortunately for the untalented Mr. Boyle, journalists have a consensus about not revealing …

NOM Claims 15K At Hate March

That’s three times the number estimated by the press and it’s STILL shitty. This after six months of daily pleas for buses and money. From watching the coverage on CSPAN, it looked to me that about half of the people there were the Hispanic evangelicals bused in by NY Sen. Ruben Diaz. They certainly spent a lot of time translating …

Yahoo Reporter: Punches Were Thrown

Watching the CSPAN coverage, I noted many people getting quite confrontational, particularly after the red-caped Catholic loons invaded the gay side with their bagpipes and drums.  Others were blowing shofars to drown out the pro-gay chants.  All that died down as the tweets from inside the Court began to arrive. No reports of arrests so far.
