MICHIGAN: Judge Postpones Marriage Equality Ruling Until After SCOTUS Decides

Well, it was fun to dream for a day. Via Detroit News:

A lesbian couple’s desire to adopt each other’s children in a potential challenge to Michigan’s ban on same-sex marriage will have to wait a bit longer. Federal Judge Bernard Friedman stayed his decision in the matter Thursday so he can wait until the U.S. Supreme Court decides two other federal cases, which will likely be in June. “I’ll be watching those cases close,” Friedman said. “Hopefully, the Supreme Court will give us some direction.”
