Some GOOD Subway News

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced today that limited service will resume tomorrow on undamaged subway lines in upper Manhattan and the outer boroughs.  Amazing!

Cuomo said 14 of 23 subway lines will have limited service, he said there will be no service in Manhattan below 34th Street because there is no power for that service. He says a “bus bridge” will move passengers from hubs in Brooklyn using the Manhattan and Williamburg bridges. There will be 330 buses. From there, subway lines will terminate at 42nd st. or 34th st. They will not be able to go farther south because of power problems. The MTA says there will be some subways that will run every 10 minutes. The following will have limited service: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, A, D, F, J, L, M, N, R.

You can find a list of lines and stations that will be open on Cuomo’s Twitter feed.  (I posted the above tweet because the linked story has the wrong starting time.)
