Central Park Devastated By Storm

The Central Park Conservancy says that damage from Saturday’s storm was the worst in many decades, with at least 1000 trees totally destroyed. Thousands of others were severely damaged and will take many years to recover. Particularly hard hit were the entrances and edges of the park, where winds were highest. REPORT: Two Women Paid Off For Herman Cain’s Sexual Harassment

Politico reports that two female former employees of Herman Cain received settlements in order to drop their claims that he had sexually harassed them. The women complained of sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable, the sources said, and they signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them financial payouts to leave the association.
