The Irony Meter flashed into “You’ve GOT To Be Kidding Me” territory when a certain reality show contestant complained about the sexist treatment of Sarah Palin by the media. Because reality shows never cast model-perfect young women to cavort nearly naked around the Australian outback. Elizabeth Hasselbeck is only on that stage because she worked the sexist system that she …

Paris For President

Pop Justice calls this the “new World’s Worst Song.” I’d say that title has been permanently awarded to Starship’s We Built This City. Anyway, this is sort of amusing for one listen. Points for rhyming motorcade with Escalade and for the gay marriage shout out. Also for dissing “nukular.”

Police estimated the size of the crowd at Barack Obama’s rally in Denver to be “well over 100,000.” Last week a similar-sized crowd came out to hear him speak in St. Louis.
