Morning View – Bloomingdale’s

In 1872 the Bloomingdale brothers moved their business uptown from the Lower East Side, opening the East Side Bazaar in in a row house at Third Avenue and 56th Street, moving in 1886 to the location of the current Bloomingdale’s at Third and 59th. After expanding over decades to cover the entire block, in 1930 was building was redesigned to its present Art Deco style.
