Italian TV In Gay Priest Frenzy

Italian television networks are breathlessly reporting that Vatican official Father Tommaso Stenico, who was suspended last week after being taped making advances to a young man, now says he has a long list of Vatican officials who are gay. On Friday, Italian television show Panorama revealed that Stenico has a “list of names and circumstances implicating a certain number of priests and even bishops working at the Curia.”

The Curia is the governing body of the Roman Catholic Church. Stenico works in the department called Congregation For The Clergy, which oversees 400,000 active Catholic homosexuals priests worldwide. It has been reported that Stenico compiled the list of gay priests in retribution for being passed over for a promotion to bishop. He is currently suspended and may be defrocked.
