Bike Messenger Vs. Pedestrian

An ugly incident involving a bike messenger and a pedestrian has spurred a heated discussion over on Gothamist and on NYC’s bike enthusiast sites. Apparently the messenger was turning right into a crosswalk where pedestrians had the right of way. What happened next depends on your point of view (and probably, your opinion of bike messengers.)
