Anthony Weiner: I No Longer Toss Salad

Anthony Weiner has yet again provided hilarity to New York City’s tabloids in response to a New York Times story that recounts his famed temper. From the Times: In 2005, he became so irritated with a staff member that he threw a salad against the wall, then left the room as the dressing slowly dripped, leaving a stain. Another time, …

The New York Observer conducted an informal survey of whether this year’s mayoral candidates are recognizable to people on the streets.  Perhaps unsurprisingly, Anthony Weiner has the most-recognizable face, but here’s the interesting part of the survey. The Weiner campaign was embarrassed yesterday when Pittsburgh bloggers noticed that the banner on his website featured the silhouetted skyline of their city and not New York.  The bottom image above is the one that Weiner’s site designers apparently used. The company has apologized for their “honest mistake” and has updated the site with actual photos of Gotham.
