Michael Cohen Confirms Cooperation With Mueller

The New York Daily News reports:

The fixer is pulling a fast one of his former boss. Michael Cohen tweeted and quickly deleted a third-person message Thursday night that confirmed his “critical” cooperation against President Trump in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election interference.

“Good for Michael Cohen for providing critical information to the #MuellerInvestigation without a cooperation agreement,” Cohen posted from his own Twitter handle. “No one should question his integrity, veracity or loyalty to his family and country over @POTUS @realdonaldtrump.”

Cohen, who pleaded guilty to fraud and campaign finance crimes last month, deleted the post within seconds, but not before it spread like wildfire across social media.

Vox reports:

The tweet — clearly intended to be sent from another account — was deleted in less than a minute. But soon, it showed up again, from the account of Cohen’s “legal crisis manager” Lanny Davis. Davis went on to explain that his tweet was “sent” through Cohen’s account by accident. The rollout may have been a little bungled. But it’s now clear Cohen’s camp is very happy indeed with the new ABC story on Cohen being questioned by Mueller.
