CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

The Cape Cod Wave reports:

Carnival 2018 in Provincetown, both risqué and family-friendly with the theme of Mardi Gras By The Sea, was a great success according to several mermen, the town crier, and an officer with the Provincetown Police Department.

The parade on Thursday afternoon on Commercial Street drew a crowd of between 75,000 and 100,000 people, according to police estimates. First there is a pre-parade, which looks like a parade – and sometimes it’s hard to know who is going to be in the parade and who is in the audience.

Then there is the parade. And then there is the after-parade, which is more like a costume party. It looked like this.

The production on the first clip is really something.
