CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

The New York Daily News reports:

He’s been grounded. The paragliding protester who got a little too close to President Trump in western Scotland on Friday night is in custody, police said Sunday. The 55-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the pre-arranged Greenpeace protest, but police did not give further details.

The paraglider carried a banner reading “Trump: Well Below Par” over Trump’s Turnberry resort to protest his environmental policies. Trump was seen cutting across the grass, quickly heading to the entrance of the resort, as the protester appeared.

The protester breached a no-fly zone over the resort and committed a criminal offense, according to police. Greenpeace said it informed police about the stunt before it took place
