WaPo Wins Journalism Prize For Roy Moore Reporting

The Washington Post reports:

A team of reporters from The Washington Post won the prestigious Toner Prize for Excellence in Political Reporting for their coverage of the Alabama U.S. Senate race.

The winning team included reporters Stephanie McCrummen, Beth Reinhard, Aaron C. Davis and Shawn Boburg; researcher Alice Crites; senior digital video producer Tom LeGro; and video reporter Dalton Bennett.

Their reporting broke the story of sexual misconduct allegations against Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama who ultimately lost to Democrat Doug Jones in the December special election to fill the seat vacated by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
