The Washington Post reports:
Authorities in St. Mary’s County, Md., said they are investigating a shooting at a high school but had few details on any injuries or the status of the person who fired shots. Cpl. Julie Yingling, a spokeswoman for the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, said at 8:15 a.m. that officials “have a shooting at Great Mills High School.”
“It is fluid,” she said of the situation. On its web site, St. Mary’s County Public Schools wrote, “There has been a shooting at Great Mills High School.” They also said “the school is on lock down and the event is contained.”
