Trump Brags About Praise From Anti-LGBT Hate Group

The Washington Examiner reports:

With unprecedented speed, the Trump administration has already implemented nearly two-thirds of the 334 agenda items called for by the Heritage Foundation, a pace faster than former President Reagan who embraced the conservative think tank’s legendary “Mandate for Leadership” blueprint.

Thomas Binion, director of congressional and executive branch relations at Heritage, said that Trump has implemented 64 percent of the “unique policy recommendations” from the group. At this stage of his presidency, Reagan had completed 49 percent of the Heritage policy recommendations.

“We’re blown away,” Binion said in an interview. Trump, he said, “is very active, very conservative, and very effective.” Heritage has been a partner with Trump and his administration since the transition from the Obama administration.

On the Heritage Foundation’s “already done” to-do list for Trump is opening up natural resources for commercial exploitation, exploding the military budget, ending net neutrality, leaving the Paris Climate Accord, withdrawing from UNESCO, and ending funding for international population control efforts. The Heritage Foundation, as you probably know, vigorously opposes virtually every aspect of LGBT rights.

64% is done? That’s close enough to 2/3rds in one year.

So, in other words, Trump, you’ll be done completing your entire “Trump Agenda” in another six months (eight tops) and willing to retire… umm… gracefully from the presidency?

    • Kenster999

      “…gracefully…” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      Thanks, I needed that!

  • Fucking wish still hasn’t come through

    • shellback

Ed, I share your wish, and find disappointment every morning when I check on his status.

  • SkokieGuy / May attempt snark

Anyone notice how the Heritage foundation talks about implementing THEIR agenda and Trump then claims that its his agenda.

Essentially, a right wing hate group is acknowledging that the President is their errand boy and representing them, not the country.

    • David Walker

And how pathetic/disgusting that he feels the need to be his own PR department. Insecure much?

      • SkokieGuy / May attempt snark

His craving for love and adoration is painful to watch. If he were simply a normal human suffering, I’d have compassion, but given that he has spent most of his life harming others, I despise him and what he has done to our country.

    • NowAnAgnostic

The Heritage Foundation has been the GOP for many years.

  • DaddyRay

How much of that was by executive order that will be undone as soon as he leaves office, because it certainly wasn’t accomplished legislatively

    • Rambie

That’ll be “Executive overreach” when a Democrat does it

      • Skeptical_Inquirer

Dems need to ignore complaints & criticisms from GOPers. GOPers have shown themselves to be hypocrites, liars, and shitholes of the lowest order.

        • Chris Gardner

Exactly! If Obama ran into oncoming traffic to save a small child in the street, GOP would accuse the child of being an ISIS sympathizer and how Obama is in league with ISIS.

  • netxtown

they’re all goddamn crazy. religion is self-inflicted mental illness.

  • Rex

Just think how much more he can destroy if he remains in office his full term.

    • Chris Gardner

But, but… Hillary isn’t 100% as progressive as Bernie. So, let’s all vote for the Green Party again. /s

  • DaddyRay

Trump has also accomplished 125% of Putin’s agenda

    • SkokieGuy / May attempt snark

Have you heard him say: ““But now we’ve fulfilled far more promises than we promised”?

  • Kevin Andrews

The Heritage Foundation is the Christ-O-Fascist war room for their new crusades of the Missionary of Hate, from the Doctrine of lies in the Order of racist discrimination.

  • ted-

The gop party must not ever rise again after this administration is done. AssuAssumthere is anything left of this world.

    • fuow

But, that would mean we actually have to get out there and vote! Couldn’t we just score moral victories, instead?

  • Chris Baker

“ending funding for international population control efforts”, don’t they realize that means more non-white people in the world?

    • joe ho

actually, the 3rd world is the only place where Christianity continues to increase. in the industrialized west it’s still declining at an accelerating rate.

      • fuow

I often think the should call it Paulianity or HatersUnite or something more accurate. The teachings of that long-haired, sandal wearing Palestinian Jew aren’t reflected in this religion of hatred, at all.

  • Belthazar

The Heritage Foundation like the LCR is completely delusional. Take for
example, Michelangelo Signorile interview with LCRs Angelo: “…Trump is
    more pro-LGBT than Obama.”

    • rextrek

I know right! Did u not want to reach through the radio and Beat the Crap out of that asshole! Aaaargh!

  • joe ho

Bernie or Busters and Green Partiers: “Both parties are the same.” “Killary would have already started WWIII.”

How much I despise those clueless SOBs.

    • fuow

You and me both. Not as much as I despise gay men who don’t vote or vote ‘Green’ to ‘teach’ lessons.
We have some many debates and discussions around here which focus on how horrible it is to be mad at the members of our community who helped cause this disaster. It would be more productive if those upset with us were focused on the commitment of the Rethug voters – were the November election to be held today, Trump would still have almost exactly the same support from those who voted as he had today.
That’s truly despicable, that’s truly a threat to any ‘blue wave’ we might see rise.

  • Halou

What does the Log Closet have to say about this?

    • fuow

They’re in favor of it if it hurts decent people like the LGBT community.
No need to even ask, sadly.

  • Ragnar Lothbrok
    • Nychta

Hadn’t heard about this. Is it a wall between CA and the states to its east?

      • Ragnar Lothbrok

No, it’s just partial sections along the border.

  • mikemmiv

Easy when the agenda is to dismantle and destroy your predecessors achievements…

  • Rick Jackson

I can;t wait to see the orange shitgibbon and his cronies leave 1600 Pennsylvania. I would prefer in handcuffs.

    • TexasBoy

I’d even settle for a straight jacket.

  • mikeinftl

What is his agenda? Undoing everything Obama put in place?

    • eddiebeskeddie

are you just now figuring this out?

  • Jean-Marc in Canada
  • TexasBoy

    Trump’s Agenda
    1) Make sure White House has stocked 5000 bottles of Coca-Cola
    2) Hire a fry cook from McDonald’s as official White House chef
    3) Turn American against American
    4) Do away with any type of significant healthcare for the masses.
    5) Get constant kudos from Daddy Putie Wutie
    6) Puff up like a rooster and be macho, talk about my big weapons
    7) Show off my trophy wife before I grab her by the pussy
    8) Destroy the open and accurate mainstream media and first amendment
    9) Make sure Freedom of Religion is only for the “right” religion
    10) Tweet my ass off with nonsense, my crazy base will believe it.

  • JWC

If the things listed in the Heritage Foundation are regarded as progressive by Trump I would see them as harmful

  • Gene Perry

Always wondered … to what “heritage” does the Heritage Foundation refer?

  • JCF

“Trump Brags About Praise From Anti-LGBT Hate Group”

    Of course he does.

  • James

“The Heritage Foundation, as you probably know, vigorously opposes virtually every aspect of LGBT rights.”

Which are the aspects they don’t oppose?

  • Gianni

His agenda is simple to complete. Just go down the list of your predecessor’s accomplishments and undermine, undo, or eliminate anything with Obama’s name on it or done by him. Could your so-called agenda get any easier? NO, it couldn’t.
