Scarborough Cracks Up Over Hannity’s Face-Plant

The Hill reports:

“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough broke down laughing on air Friday over Fox News host Sean Hannity’s coverage of a report that President Trump attempted to fire special counsel Robert Mueller.

On his show Thursday night, Hannity first blasted the New York Times report of Trump’s attempted firing, which was blocked by White House counsel Don McGahn, claiming that “The New York Times is trying to distract you.” But toward the end of his broadcast, Hannity said sources had confirmed the report to Fox News.

“Morning Joe” aired a cut of Hannity’s coverage of the report, leading Scarborough to burst out laughing. “Look over there! It’s straight out of the Carville handbook,” Scarborough said, referring to Democratic strategist James Carville. “Look at the car wreck, look at the car wreck! Oh my god, I don’t even know where to begin,” the MSNBC host said.

That Hannity video is instant classic and instant karma. Will cement his legacy as a joke: One for the books….

And and morning joe can fuck off

  • Tawreos

He can laugh all he wants, but the Fox viewers heard him say that it was bullshit and they will have forgotten that he walked it back. Until we find a way to pierce the bubble on their reality then no fact on this earth matters one damn bit.

    • Reality.Bites

All that can be done with them is wait for them to die.

      • Tawreos

Is that all, given their average age that shouldn’t take to long =)

    • Rambie

What will help break their bubbule is the continuing fracturing of the GOP’ers. Some will follow the extreme right and stay in that bubble but others will fall out.

  • greenmanTN

An aside really, but his mention of Carville reminded me that I cannot stand that cornpone motherfucker James Carville!

He’s always reminded me of the Crypt Keeper, but apparently most people think he looks like Gollum.

  • HZ81

Yes, Joe. It’s Carville’s fault. Okay, buddy.

On edit: Anybody remember Scrarborough Country? Yes, Joe was hired as a Hannity/O’Reilly clone.

    • Reality.Bites

That’s not at all what he meant. Not even close.

      • HZ81

I understand what he meant, thanks.

        • Reality.Bites

No, you don’t. There’s no shame in being wilfully stupid. You can be president someday.

          • HZ81

Oh, no. See, I know who James Carville is and what James Carville does. I know Joe is saying Sean is pulling a classic diversionary Carville move. I also know Joe shouldn’t throw stones considering he was/is Sean Hannity lite, and was hired at MSNBC to be just that—a Hannity/O’Reilly fighter. Joe’s been lying on air just like Sean for years. Carville didn’t teach him that.

There you go, RB. Sorry, I don’t have flashcards or puppets handy, so I hope you got it that time.

          • Librarykid

He was a right win a**hole when he was in congress. I remember that and am not impressed by him now.

Corporate executives will use the cash to buy back the company stock, leaving fewer shares available on the market, thus raising their price. They will then exercise their own stock options and put all the cash in their pockets. Very little will go to investment in equipment or R&D, even less in the employees. It’s a windfall for those at the top, nothing more.

          • Tawreos

But I saw a chart that said I will get an extra 12 bucks in my paycheck so that has to be worth the huge hole that has been blown in the revenue side of the budget, right?

Coal reminds me of this – I watched the movie ‘Pride” last night ….for the fourth time.
Netflix have just recently put it up.

It is just a wonderful movie set during the coal miners strike in the 1980s under Margaret Thatcher ( spit !)
it shows a gay group based in London supporting the miners at a village in Wales.

They’re both correct and, arguably, the annual rate is more important. They both, no doubt, point to stories which show Trump’s claims about growth to be false and the economy stabilizing at a slow to moderate rate.

        • BobSF_94117

The market rose faster under Obama, mostly because it had so far to climb. Under Trump, certainly some people have poured their money into the market, driving it up even further. It was already a bubble in the last years of Obama. Now it’s an even bigger bubble.
