FLORIDA: Trump Golfs For Seventh Consecutive Day

The Hill reports:

President Trump is beginning 2018 at his private Florida golf club, according to a reporter traveling with the president. Trump left his Mar-a-Lago resort Monday morning just before 8:45 a.m. and arrived at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla. a few minutes later.

Trump’s early morning trip marks the seventh day in a row he’s visited his golf club. The president, who has said he is on a “working vacation” at his Mar-a-Lago resort for the holidays, tweeted on Christmas night that he would get “back to work” the following day.

  • Lakeview Bob

What a disgusting image to see on New Year’s Morning.

Despite that: Happy New year everyone.

    • Lizard

May we soon not have to wake up to pictures of Trump’s fat ass.

  • another_steve

I could endure him were he not so aesthetically displeasing.

    • David L. Caster

      That and so boorishly classless.

      • another_steve

Exactly. Plus there’s something genetically wrong with his older sons.

        They look like extraterrestrials.

        • David L. Caster

          Or just plain inbred.

        • McSwagg

Those are his “superior genes” expressing their dominant nature..

    • canoebum

The cure for his displeasing looks is to lock him up in a SuperMax prison never to be heard from again.

    • billbear1961

Only if you could endure a relentless pathological liar, thief, and racist hatemonger who’s pissing all over the rule of law and destroying our reputation abroad!

Some political commentators are not dismissing the possibility that Trump will order Mueller fired.

        Trump is a loose cannon.

        He’s capable of doing it.

The last 18 attempted scandals haven’t gone anywhere. This one won’t either. What it will do is give the news something to focus on while he does what he actually wants to.

  • Happy New Year!!
On a side note, what’s ya’ll take on this legal pot thing and the DofJ? Yes, we know that Sessions has a vindetta against pot….but once CA gets a taste of all the revenue from pot, does anyone realistically think they’ll go back to illegal pot?

Oh, and Fuck tRump. Just in case anyone missed how I feel.

    • bkmn

If Sessions is feeling heat I could see him ordering a raid on some recreational dispensaries in CA to try to make an example of them but I think it will only be if he needs to take attention off himself.

I think in the back of his small mind he knows public opinion has already turned and law enforcement is coming on board too after the experiences in CO and WA.

      • It’s a lost cause I’d think.

      • Joseph Miceli

        but….but…what about state’s rights???? (whine!)/s

        • Joe in PA

          State Rights*

          *only when convenient

        • Nowhereman

State’s rights is just for gunnuts and keeping women and non-whites in their place.

          • 2guysnamedjoe

            And lgbts in hiding.

As California goes, so does the rest…..

      In time.

      • David Walker

The wizards aka Pennsylvania legislature have made medical pot legal…and they haven’t done shit since. What the fuck is wrong with those people?

        • Ragnar Lothbrok

Iowa passed legal M a couple years ago, but is illegal to have, buy, transport or posses. Lol, why bother.

Actually, they did fix it recently I believe

        • thatotherjean

Pennsylvania sounds a lot like Maryland. They made it legal of medical purposes, but haven’t yet figured out how it will be dispensed.

          • David Walker

And will they ask other states how it’s done? Of course not. And these fools are pretty much inadequate at anything, let alone reinventing the wheel.

    • greenmanTN

Sessions wants to renew the “War On Drugs.” Sessions is also heavily invested in private, for profit prisons. Nothing unethical about that at all!

      • Nowhereman

        They own his ass.

    • Nowhereman

To hell with state’s rights–Jefferson “I don’t recall” Sessions took a lot of money from the private prison industry for his campaign, and he’s got to fill up their new prisons for them somehow–

      • Stogiebear

Guillotines also come in size Petite,

    • McSwagg

Twenty nine states have legalized marijuana use in some form (medical, recreational, or both). This is democracy from the bottom up through the “laboratory of the states”. It’s only a matter of time before the Feds have to give in. One major reason the Feds are behind the times is the average advanced age of the Congress. I’m not a user myself, but I don’t see why marijuana should in principle be treated any differently than alcohol with age restrictions, potency restrictions, taxes, &c.

New Year’s Resolution: this is the last time I read a post about Trump golfing or tweeting. Wake me up when he gets indicted.

    • greenmanTN

From your lips to God’s ear, but you know you’ll get sucked into it again.

But it is a distraction. President Drama Queen tweets something outrageous and the media screams “Squirrel!”, ignoring that the judiciary is being reformed.

      • Acronym Jim

It looks like you misspelled “deformed.”

      • Kate

“ignoring that the judiciary is being reformed.”

That is, after all, why the States elected Donald Trump.

Trump made sure that Scalia didn’t get replaced by a leftist. He may even manage to replace RBG and Kennedy with more Scalia-type constructionists. That dismantles gun control and (potentially) brings back regulation of killing of humans (including abortion) to the states.

He’s also pulled an Obama, getting ObamaCare penalties waived. ObamaCare made things worse, and he’s helped accelerate it’s death so we can potentially get some actual reform instead of just “we fine you if you don’t buy it”.

People are surprised for some reason that a reality TV star knows how to work the press. Shock, gasp, they run around yelling squirrel. Who knew?!?!

Everything else at this point is gravy. Every day he’s golfing is still another day that Hillary Clinton isn’t president. That’s a very good thing for the country.

  • gaycuckhubby

Yes the hypocrisy is strong, but I wake up everyday hoping Trump is golfing and no where close to the Oval Office

    • Joe in PA

Yeah, but I think “the football” has to be with him at all times. 🙁

I keep a roll of toilet tissue on my bathroom counter. You know, to clean up disgusting things that fall out of my nose and the like as I’m preparing myself for the day.

I could see myself using the Trump tissue paper for that purpose.

My brother got me a roll like this for my birthday. He knows me so well <3

    • McSwagg

Be careful using that. It will clog the toilet and turn your home into a dRumpf swamp. You’ll never be able to completely drain it away and the smell will always linger.

  • so here’s my question: do yall have success, in the sand traps? those fuckers are Evil. i address it with my hips, no shitting. you’ve got to put your hips into that swing and dig gently. it’s harder than it sounds.

i am a lesbian who golfs. i want to [bannable] this criminal, from all golf courses on the world, including the ones he owns. fuck him. fuck his fascist master, whom i’m betting i could out-drive, with grandpa’s clubs. i want to [bannable] him with my 9-iron. slowly.

    • did you all ever hear the Best Lezzie Golfing story ever? i’m fairly sure it’s true. daddy and his buddies golfed a lot in FL.

so, after he got off legally, OJ was golfing on some richee FL course. a couple of lezzies were right behind him, on the play-thru. one of them went up to him as he made his putt. she said, “May I shake your hand?” and he said yes. her partner said, “She’s never shaken the hand of a murderer before. Thank you.” and walked away.

Quilting is such an exquisite art form. It requires so many talents: design, sewing, knowledge of materials and fabrics. And of course the finished product can be exhibited or actually used as a blanket or other covering.

  • Jean-Marc in Canada

One word people, one word: MIDTERMS

    • if only i knew that votes were actually counted, i’d be with you.

i registered a lot of new voters the last time. meh. i live in OH. i’m really not sure at all that anything i did was counted, and i did a lot. all the people working the voting site had no idea what i was talking about, when i asked them who bought and made the machines.

come on, people. we’re interweb savvy. there is NO reason why a voting machine in the “most important state” should be connected to the internet. ever. pootie is very evil, not really that smart, but has good help.

voting. sure. but also Caesar. you remember that bit he said, right?

      • Jean-Marc in Canada

Funny you mention that because it’s the reason Canada shied away from digital voting. There was plan to implement electronic voting/tabulation machines but after what happened in the U.S. over the last couple of elections, the decision was made to keep our ballots paper with an X marking the spot. Slower maybe, but imminently less hackable.

      • JAKvirginia

You go to the grocery store self-checkout. Scan your items, pay by card and get a receipt of your transaction. A paper receipt. Happens millions of times a day in this country. But somehow too hard/difficult to do for voting?

        • Acronym Jim

Two receipts. After both verified by the voter for accuracy, one is dropped in a ballot box in case of the need for a hand recount and the other is scanned by exit pollsters to verify the accuracy of the vote-count.

          • JAKvirginia

Yes, indeed. Good thought! Yay, you!

        • The_Wretched

Grocery stores have total records tied to ID-bankong info. The banks have a second record and they could be cross checked. Third, the grocery buyer gets a receipt. Voting lacks all of those elements.

          • JAKvirginia

My point was that it would be easy to supply a voter with a paper receipt to verify their vote. I have no idea where you’re going with it.

      • The_Wretched

        Bingo.

    • Halou

Yes, and nothing has been done to guard the system from interference again. Hillary had three million more votes than Trump and yet he still won.

As other news has proven in recent months, even though he can’t lift sanctions Trump can still give Russia good value for money, and certainly enough to make them think going for Round 2 is more than just a good idea.

      • Gianni

Does Donnie know the difference between work and play? He seems to treat them both the same.

        • thatotherjean

He has never done any actual work, so I doubt that he knows the difference.

  • Nowhereman

I’m still waiting for the hue and cry from “conservatives” about how much time and tax dollars he’s wasting vacationing and playing golf. Guess something must be different now?

    • Halou

But it’s not being wasted if it goes directly into Dear Leader’s very own bank account. /s

    • Gianni

Two things are very different: Donnie is white and Republican.

      • McSwagg

There are at least two sporting activities black people aren’t supposed to engage in: golfing and yachting. Eyebrows and questions are raised anytime anyone black presumes to break those taboos.

  • Taylor Bixler
  • Halou

    In other words:

    • 2guysnamedjoe

Every time he golfs at one of his courses, the government is billed for it.

      So, yes, $ $ $.

      • Halou

He brought the Secret Service to the brink of bankruptcy in just half a year by doing little tricks like this.
Congress was forced to pass an emergency budget to compensate for the unprecedented levels of corruption and self-enrichment introduced by Trump. Of course, not doing anything to deter or diminish such practices, just shovelling more and more money into the budgets that Trump is happily stealing from.

For a man whose official wage is a ‘mere’ $400,000 a year, Trump has managed to extract tens of millions of dollars from the American taxpayers… And tens of millions more from foreign oligarchs and officials seeking to gain favour.

        • McSwagg

All part of the plans developed by his tax accountants and tax lawyers.

We definitely have a new Golfer In Chief and his record is only composed of one-year’s worth of golfing. His tally is headed for the stars. Well, as he’s said at times, “I’m President; I don’t care.”

      • McSwagg

“Sub Par” comes to mind when thinking of the Golfer in Chief, and I’m not talking about his stroke count.

  • infmom

For him golf IS work. The people who go out on the course with him have to work even harder at letting him win.

    • Jukesgrrl

Who does he golf with? I never read anything about that. When Obama golfed it was usually known.

      • infmom
