Right Wing Radio Host: Roy Moore’s Loss Proves That Black Democrats Do Not Believe In God [AUDIO]

“Black Democrats are the most gullible group of people on this side of heaven when it comes to believing in lies. Because they do not believe in truth.  They do not believe in God. They do not. If they believed in God, they would have clear minds, they would have sound minds, they would have godly values that guide them. It has nothing to do with racism. There’s is no such thing as racism. Racism does not and has never existed.

“There is no way that you can be a son or daughter of God – a Christian – and support anyone who represents the Democratic platform or the Democratic party. That’s a reality. How can you be of good, of God, of truth, of love and vote for a man such as Doug Jones or even Barack Hussein Obama.” – Christian radio host Jesse Lee Peterson, via Right Wing Watch.

Peterson last appeared on JMG when he declared that Roy Moore’s accusers are “literally Satan’s daughters.”

  • bkmn

They really want to start a war between white and black Evangelicals. I’m not sure they will win it, so I am not sure why they want the battle.

I hope the right keeps their loud and proud support of a 14-year old’s molester.

  • Long Tom

He says that as if it’s a bad thing.

  • HZ81

If there were a God, this douchebag would have bet the underbelly of a bus years ago if he were even born.

If God made this, he or she can go fuck themselves.

  • BlackGayAthetist

NO they do not believe in pedophiles…there is a difference…you can do lots of things in the Black community as many will look the other way but sexually abusing children is a BIG HELL FUCK YOU NO WAY…

  • Lazycrockett

NO they don’t believe that Slavery was good for them.

  • Tawreos

I am never sure if this guy is serious or did he just see an opportunity and used it to make some easy money.

    • Gustav2

      (sorry,wrong place)

    • peacfulseas inWA

      He’s dead serious !

      • Tawreos

        I was afraid of that

  • safari

If I understand some forms of Christianity… God lets us choose our path?

Why do Republicans want to take away the “choices” that their God gave us?

    • Gustav2

Because we were founded by the Roundheads.

      • Snarkaholic

Having an atrocious haircut is No Excuse!

    • AaronD12

“Free will” is a toss-up in Christianity. Some think we have it. Others think god predestined us. There is (unsurprising) ambiguity in the bible on this topic.

  • MT YVR

    The abso-fucking-lute dissonance here.

“Y’all are going to hell for not supporting a man molesting, raping underage girls. To HELL. Straaaaight to hell. Y’all need to find Jesus in this pedofile’s politics.”

    What. The actual. Fuck.

  • crewman

There is no way that you can be a son or daughter of God – a Christian – and support anyone who represents the Democratic platform or the Democratic party.

But supporting child molester? No problem! Here’s a hint: if you see Democrats as all evil all the time and Republicans as the right choice no matter what they do, you’ve lost your way. Your morality is corrupt and a lie.

    • Goodboy
      • BlackGayAthetist

He reminds me of Uncle Ruckus from the Boondocks

    • vorpal

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

“Kingdom of heaven” contains the letters in “manhood.” Coincidence?

    • Bambino

One does not even have to believe in god to know the basic of human decency. You just don’t sexually molest or rape underage children. No Jesus, Allah, Buddha or whatever god one believes to learn that. Otherwise they are just animals who will fuck anything. Even in animal kingdom the female when ready will send out the scent to the male as a signal.

  • Gustav2

    Whitie’s White Jesus thanks you.

  • Ninja0980

    Fuck off Uncle Tom.

    • TJay229

Uh… Actually in the book, Uncle Tom was good… You should say “Fuck off Sambo”

      • Silver Badger

I don’t remember Sambo being bad. He was just a little boy who liked hot cakes with butter.

        • Snarkaholic

How about, “Fuck off, White Supremacist?”

          • Silver Badger

I confused. To whom are you addressing your comment? While I have not seen the children’s book in over 60 years, I don’t remember it as being terrible.

          • Snarkaholic

Sorry; I should have been more specific. I was referring to this dunce of a radio host. Considering his hateful remarks to the vast majority of the Black community, I think the name White Supremacist is fitting.

          • Silver Badger

Thank you. I agree with your appraisal. The poor man’s brain has obviously been over-washed.

I grew up near a Little Black Sambo’s restaurant where my family would eat often. Never thought anything of it until it closed and was torn down in the 80’s. Too bad because it served good food (better but similar to Ram’s Horn).

        • Nelson Kerr

Sambo like the now banned Brier Rabbit was an example of brains over brawn. Sometimes we throw out the good because it looks bad.

  • northern_neighbour

That is a terrible LIBEL and BETRAYAL of your own bros and sisters. and good on them that they made the difference and gave Moore his walking papers.

Blacks in Alabama want a piece of the pie that has been denied to them…

Blacks in Alabama want to see the incarceration rate drop in their state..

All of these things and SO much more would NEVER happen with God first Roy Moore…

Blacks in Alabama and America want…..

      • BlackGayAthetist

The 14th gave Due process and equal protection
The 15th gave blacks the right to vote

They tried once, but most on the left prefer to think for themselves so it did not have the impact that it did for the right.

      • AmeriCanadian

The left wasn’t without some crazies too. I remember listening to Randi Rhodes go on her tirades when Air America was around on XM Radio. Ed Schultz could get wound up too.

        • Friday

        • peacfulseas inWA

      • David Walker

        Wasn’t Rachel a host?

        • AmeriCanadian

She started out on Air America. That’s where I discovered her. Kent Jones was her “sidekick”. She didn’t take calls though. I still loved her!

        • Tawreos

          Yes she was.

    • Friday

It doesn’t sound like his Christianist masters let him out of the booth.

    • The_Wretched

The lack of left-wing radio hosts isn’t an mistake. Comcast and Sinclair Broadcasting (abetted by republicans in the FCC) have bought up almost all the stations that have broadcast licenses. They then only air right wing nut jobs. When liberal stations have existed, they get equal or better ratings and ad sales.

That said, there’s Stephanie Miller, Norman Goldman and a few others who are doing a good job. Others like Brad Friedman are bloggers who do pod casts that also have radio air play. You can find them on the net or Sirus-XM and the few liberal stations around the nation (such as AM950 in MN).

They also are effectively blacklisted from TV and Cable stations.

“Black Democrats are the most gullible group of people on this side of heaven when it comes to believing in lies” The irony of this statement coming from a black conservative is astounding..

  • The worst moral failure is in the GOP, and in the gross perversion of “Christianity” found in the tenets of fundamentalist dominionists like Roy Moore or this radio host. These so-called “Christians” really worship Mammon – and kowtow to the kleptocratic plutocratic oligarchs whose donations have the GOP (and enough of the democrats) doing their bidding.

Only the Warren/Sanders wing of the Demoicratic party has a prayer of breaking the oligarchy, and that would require a massive replacement of most of the legislative branch, a new president, and a lot of judicial appointments.

It boggles my mind (as an ordained priest) that so many so called “Christians” seem to ignore the Bible. Luke 17:2 for instance: “It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.” There are some really good ideas in the Bible that it is a shame we can not carry out (a certain senatorial candidate comes to mind).

  • GanymedeRenard

    WTF???

  • Reality.Bites

We’ve encountered others like him before – African American pastors who are racist right-wing Republicans and I really don’t get it.

A member of the clergy is generally dedicated to serving a congregation or fleecing a bunch of rubes or somewhere in the middle.

Since few of these guys actually have churches where people go on Sundays, it’s clearly grifting, but who are they grifting? Obviously African-American people aren’t interested – it makes as much sense as opening a homophobic church exclusively for openly gay people.

Who pays them, and why? They clearly aren’t influencing African-American voters.

  • lymis

Jesse Lee Peterson is either demented or pure evil. He has thanked God and white people for slavery – saying that if it weren’t for the slave trade blacks might have never made it to U.S. He described traveling on slave ships as akin to “being on a crowded airplane.” Anyone with even a basic knowledge of the slave trade knows that millions of innocent people suffered and died as a result of that abomination.

Is he one of Donald Trump’s “My blacks”? Trump said it again the other night at his Roy Moore rally in Pensacola. “Look at my blacks on the front row” he said, beaming. The white audience applauded them like they just got back from serving in Afghanistan or something. It was their moment (and Trump’s) to say “See, we aren’t prejudiced – we’re applauding black people”. The sad thing is they really believe that.
