Omarosa On White House: I Saw So Many Things I Was Unhappy With, I Have Quite The Story To Tell [VIDEO]

ABC News reports:

Former reality-TV star turned White House staffer Omarosa Manigault today tried to set the record straight on her reportedly dramatic exit from the White House Tuesday, and alluded to situations in the White House “that have made me uncomfortable.”

“[Chief of Staff] John Kelly and I had a very straightforward discussion about concerns that I had, issues that I raised and, as a result, I resigned,” Manigault said on ABC News’ “Good Morning America.”

There “were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with,” she said. White House sources have told ABC News she was fired and escorted off the White House grounds. Manigault denied today that she was escorted off the premises by the U.S. Secret Service.

More from Mediaite:

“I resigned, and I didn’t do that in the Residence as being reported,” Omarosa told ABC’s Michael Strahan. Manigault described reports to the contrary as “100% false,” claiming she calmly discussed her resignation with Chief of Staff John Kelly in the Situation Room.

She also took aim at old White House foe April Ryan, correspondent at American Urban Radio Networks, who led the charge on reports that Manigault’s exit was a messy one.

“Let’s be clear, only one person,” Manigault asserted, “no one else has reported what she’s reporting. And this is the one person who has attacked me for the past year — so you know this is personal.” (Fact check: a number of outlets reported Manigault was removed from the White House in a less than ceremonious fashion.)

And from the New York Post:

Manigault Newman also was asked about reports that she was displeased with the president’s handling of the rally by white nationalists in Charlottesville and with his support for Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

“I have to be very careful,” she said, noting that she still works for the president until Jan. 20. “There were a lot of things I was unhappy with. I have quite a story to tell.”

Meanwhile, TMZ reported Thursday that Manigault Newman believes she’d be a good candidate for a future undersecretary position or an ambassadorship in Nigeria.
