Sen. Luther Strange: Bannon’s Only Accomplishment Is Getting A Democrat Elected To The Senate [VIDEO]

Via Mediaite:

Outgoing Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL) has absolutely no love for Steve Bannon. Appearing on Fox News Wednesday — one day after the Bannon-backed Roy Moore went down to Democrat Doug Jones in the general election to replace Strange — the Alabama Senator railed against the Breitbart chairman.

“I’ve never seen him accomplish anything,” Strange said. “He has accomplished one thing that I don’t think anybody in America thought was possible, and that’s getting a Democrat elected in the state of Alabama.” Earlier in the segment, Cavuto asked Strange if he had any recommendations for Roy Moore, who is still contesting Tuesday’s results. “He’s on his own,” Strange said.

  • Lazycrockett

Oh Strange dont fret, if McConnell has his way you ain’t going anywhere.

  • netxtown

    I’d say Bannon is a shoe-in for any acting/non-acting parts as a ravaged drunk….

  • sisterfalconer

I just gagged that was so HARD. omg lol

  • Sam_Handwich

Luther has every right to be bitter. He would have won last night, by double digits.

    Still, i laugh at him.

    • Lars Littlefield

And now . . . we dance! Bwa ha ha!

    • Look, two people who are to blame for Doug Jones for taking the Senate Seat are former Gov. Robert Bentley and former State Atty. Gen. Luther Strange. Strange should had never accepted the seat, given he was investigating Bentley.. One of the main reason that Moore beat Strange in the GOP primary run off..

I don’t know if Strange would had done that well in the current political climate for the special election. He is kind of looked upon as corrupt, not as bad as Bentley, but corrupt for accepting the Senate seat..

    • Ninja0980

      He was a corrupt hack.
Don’t feel sorry for him one bit.

(shudder) Damn this song always gives me chills.

      • Michael White

It brings tears to my eyes when I hear it. I can not understand how one human can treat another human the way African Americans have been treated in our history.

        • MT YVR

          I can. Sadly.

It just… such an evocative song to become popular at any point in history while being so pointedly about death and racism.

      • Rebecca Gardner

Me too! It makes my nipples so hard they actually hurt. That’s how good this song is.

  • justmeeeee

One recommendation for Roy Moore we can all agree on: go fuck yourself.

O/T last night, with Scotch in hand all set to watch Rachel at 2100 pst instead i got Chris Matthews Is this gut for real. Interrupted his quest Could be heard off camera gruntinf snorting snuffling and his whinny voice So far Rachel and lawrence are my wwo on MSNBC

    • Lars Littlefield

I think Mathews keeps his little show because MSNBC pities him. He thinks he’s an honorary Kennedy.

      • Chucktech

Got him a brand, spanking new book to flog, doncha know…

        • Lars Littlefield

Yeah. All about his halcyon years as a Democratic Party aid.

      • clay

That’s certainly not his or his family’s reputation back in his home of Montgomery County, PA.

        • Lars Littlefield

          Whadd dey say ’bout him?

          • clay

His an obnoxious loud mouth, but he’s OUR obnoxious loud mouth.

  • clay

O/T: So, who all here is wanting to go see “Ferdinand”?

    • peacfulseas inWA

I’m getting to the point of not interested in seeing any movies in theaters. And this will attract un-behaved children accompanied by un- behave owners. I now wait until they are released for streaming or on dvd while enjoying several glasses of Merlot and because it’s legal here a toke now and then.

      • clay

I’m lucky to have job flexibility to occasionally catch a wide-release film at a time kiddies are (ought to be) in school. Next Tuesday I might catch it right after my uncle’s annual VA care evaluation.

        • peacfulseas inWA

Retired so time is flexible, me not so much.

      • Lars Littlefield

We went to the Blade Runner sequel and had to leave. The sound was so loud it hurt our ears and gave us headaches.

Edit: Also, since we have a 65″ HDTV and a pair of plush overstuffed recliners there’s really no reason to go to a cinema. Everything ends up available via satellite in 6 to 8 months.

    • SoCalGal20

I might go see it. I did see “Coco” which was lovely.

I am for sure going to see the new Star Wars movie!

Two of the ladies at work were all excited to have it for date night with their husbands tomorrow.

Midnight showing about a week after release sounds about right. Hub and I will be the only ones in the theatre. Only drawback is the popcorn with artificial butter. What happened to the popcorn with real butter?

The GOP Senate refused to consider ANY replacement for Scalia until AFTER the 2016 election. “The Will of the People!” cried the FRAUDS.

The Will of the people of Alabama MUST be respected, and no tax cut bill should be considered until their new Senator has taken his seat!

    • Chucktech

Aw, “will of the people…” How quaint…

      • billbear1961

        They’ll get QUAINT, the frauds!

  • Nic Peterson

Um Luther, one other thing that Racist Bannon has been very good at doing is bringing a certain white nationalist flavor to the front and lily white center of your party. He’s been very successful indeed. You got a problem with that?

The sad face is in reaction to being reminded PA voted for Dump!

          • WNY

You got a Democrat for Governor last election at least

          • clay

Only thing saving us on some things (this week’s anti-abortion bill– because NOTHING, EVER could POSSIBLY go wrong after the absolute MINIMUM point for viability).

          • WNY

I live in NY and my boyfriend lives 14 miles south of me in PA. He has been practically begging me to move in with him but I don’t want to move into a Republican hell hole state. I think the Democrat winning the governor position was a fluke and it will soon be back in Republican hands where they will make it even worse. If he gets re-elected at next election then maybe I will consider it.

          • clay

We flip on the governor, but trend Dem on US senate and US president. What sucks most is the level of partisan gerrymandering– 60% of the votes are Dem, resulting in 67% of the legislators being GOP. There are two active court cases (7 years after the last census, 5 after the maps were drawn) to get them overturned. If we win, it means that partisan gerrymandering will be disallowed after 2030.

          • WNY

So I just have to wait another 12 years then

          • TheManicMechanic

Where my husband’s family hails from in PA (near Shamokin) has been Alabama forever. Complete with Confederate flags.

  • Dramphooey

“He has accomplished one thing that I don’t think anybody in America thought was possible, and that’s getting a Democrat elected in the state of Alabama.” True dat, considering the gerrymandering you scum put in to place everywhere you acquire power. They have almost every black in the state in one congressional district.

  • Snarkaholic

FAKE NEWS! He’s also caused Mad Dog stock to skyrocket!

Millions WERE faked, and the FCC is withholding the evidence–someone on the commission has accused Ajit Pai of doing so.

And there is this from one of the AGs:

NY attorney general identifies 2,000,000 fraudulent net neutrality comments, urges FCC to delay vote

      https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/12/13/1724044/-NY-attorney-general-identifies-2-000-000-fraudulent-net-neutrality-comments-urges-FCC-to-delay-vote

          • David Walker

Won’t just about everything? I hate finding out what living in a once great country feels like.

        • billbear1961

You all should launch some kind of boycott of companies calling for the end of net neutrality.

Is there any way AROUND the U.S. internet for American users?

          • That_Looks_Delicious

Nope. Where I live, the only option I have is Time-Warner. Where my parents live, they for a very long time they only had CenturyTel. It’s ironic that in 2017, in many places you now have more choices as a consumer for physical utilities like electricity and gas than for internet connection.

          • David Walker

TLD. I think that it’s a carryover from the ’80s when a cable company had to make a deal with the municipality. In return for a “public service channel” (boy, did they die a quick death), the cable company got the sweetheart deal of “no competition” for a stated period of time. My little town got the shits of that and we now have both Comcast (the original) and Verizon (the competitor). Admittedly it’s like choosing between a scorpion or a king snake, but at least it’s something.

      • bkmn

AG Schneiderman is doing everything he can to be able to take this vote, if it happens, to court to challenge it. We owe him thanks for this and so many other things.

    • Cuberly Deux

Pai has got to be one of the most arrogant corporatist creatures ever. He’s flat out set aside settled complaints that the FCC had received from customers re; their ISPs. These were cases that were just waiting to be finalized and penalties applied to the offending ISPs. In other words, the FCC was doing their job. The customers that had filed the complaints have been waiting for damages awards. Looks like it’s not going to happen, ever.

He also declined to provide proof that Net Neutrality has been damaging to smaller ISPs. Yet it’s a claim he makes all the time.

“Ajit Pai offers no data for latest claim that net neutrality hurt small ISPs
ISPs supposedly harmed by the rules expanded to new areas and installed fiber.”

      https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2017/12/ajit-pai-claims-net-neutrality-hurt-small-isps-but-data-says-otherwise/

Man oh man don’t get me started how corrupt this character is. He’s the definition of a corporate opportunist paving the way for where he lands once he’s out of the FCC. ARGH!!!!!!!

      • That_Looks_Delicious

Well, he *is* a Trump appointee.

        • Cuberly Deux

Actually he was hand picked by Verizon and Comcast & presented to the GOP. Donnie just went with it….like he always does.

He has no fucking clue who these people are.

A guy working for me is just finishing up his Master’s thesis. He and his professor have developed an algorithm that is even now being used to analyze comments on regulations. The number of fake comments is astonishing on, for example, bills related to oil and gas pipelines and, yes, net neutrality. With the ability to post comments electronically, there must absolutely be a system of verification to assure the person is actually a real, US citizen.

Big American companies (the blue state kind) would love to not have health care costs, an educated and diverse work force and a safety net that keeps people as customers in hard times.

If your system was more weighted towards representation by population, had less gerrymandering and no vote suppression, the same forces would dominate in your country that do in ours.

Our Conservatives weren’t fond of gays and Muslims – but a big difference is they had to win in the suburbs and they went after minority votes HARD – and got them.

With black turnout MS could elect almost ANY Democrat. In 2016 HRC got 40.06% of the total vote. The ELECTORATE is 35.7% black. If people of color voted in percentages near their percentage (or higher as just happened in Alabama) of the electorate, MS would be VERY purple, maybe blue.

“Maybe I’ll get booed for saying this, but many companies and the military [have] a dress code,” she said. “I have been appalled at some of the dress of … members and staff. Men have to wear ties and suits.”

Guess what? Women in the military are in uniform, and they have had a history of harassment. (See, e.g., Tailhook ’91).

      • Reality.Bites

        A BIG history of it.

        • margaretpoa

          YUGE,.

    • Sam_Handwich

i’ve been in the same situation Marcy is in. no one wants to hear it.

      • Treant

As an office manager, I had to call out a lot of women on their dress. No, that’s definitely not appropriate. Um…because I’m forced to look at your underwear every time you sit down. And so are other people who are complaining.

No, that’s not discrimination, we have a dress code. Really? My pants are a bit tight? At least I’m wearing some.

        • Oscarlating Wildely

I really believe that we’re in just different fields. In academe a woman would simply never dress like that– and most men (okay, most hetero men) dress like slobs. The not acceptable here has been the pit stained t-shirt and sweats sans underwear– and I can assure you that’s not the women or non-hetero men. I can honestly say I’ve never corrected a woman on her professional attire, and I’ve yet to stop telling men how to dress.

          • Treant

In my case, the other way around. “Don’t make me get the ruler” was the usual saying–and the standard was six inches above the knee for skirts.

My point being, if you dress like a whore, don’t be all shocked if you’re treated like a whore. If you’re dressed decently and treated poorly, I’m going to be a lot more responsive and empathetic.

    • margaretpoa

Maybe you’d be more comfortable as a member of the GOP Taliban,Marcy.

      • Sam_Handwich

        oh stop

        • margaretpoa

No. Hell no. It’s not up to women to prevent men sexually assaulting them. It’s up to men to control themselves. I repeat, she’d do better in the Republican party with thirteenth century attitudes like that.

          • Sam_Handwich

yes, it’s up to PEOPLE to stop sexually harassing other PEOPLE. it’s also up to PEOPLE not to go to work like they’re dressed up for a night club.

          • Oscarlating Wildely

I’ve worked in night clubs. Yet to see someone show up for Congress anywhere close.

          • Sam_Handwich

my experience is that some women go to work in sexually provocative dress. while men go dressed sexually boring

Do i wish this were reversed? yes. because i’m a pig.

          • Treant

I’m kind of with you on this one. Women head to work with their breasts bulging out of their dresses that are, half the time, far too short for the venue.

But it’s supposedly sexual harassment if you look at it. Honey, in my case? I’m measuring with my eyes where you’re dressed like a cheap prostitute, not harassing you.

Also, any response from any male that isn’t to their liking? It’s the guy’s fault, and the woman’s off scot-free because it’s Never Her Fault.

Lady, I’m going to say it. Dress like a slut, get treated like a slut, don’t whine because you’re a slut. I’ll say the same thing to an underdressed man at the office.

            If I ever see one.

And if this is honestly the hill on which feminism wishes to plant its flag and die? Have at, toots. The belittling is intentional; if you’re going to act like you have no responsibility for your actions, I’ll treat you like you have no agency and no ability.

          • margaretpoa

By your absurd logic, people in Puerto Rico are at fault for being hurricane victims by dint of living on an island and California fire victims are at fault for living near trees.
I happen to agree that some women dress inappropriately for their circumstances but so do men. Yet somehow we don’t go around grabbing every speedo bulge.
You’ll forgive me if I continue to eschew wearing a burqa.

          • Sam_Handwich

individual experiences may differ. i’ve honestly never experienced a male co-worker intentionally dressed for the work day in an explicitly sexual way.

so, i concede to you if you have a different history

          • That_Looks_Delicious

Sam and Marcy have something of a point in some of the more ludicrous cases. I was just reading an article about a guy in England whose ex was sleeping with him at his apartment in his bed (after they had split up) in her underwear and he got a hardon that was poking her underwear and she accused him of attempted rape and he went to jail for 3 years. [I’m really tempted to put that entire last sentence in bold, all caps and underlined.] WTF? WTF? WTF?

      • That_Looks_Delicious

I think she’s being politically proactive and smart, actually. There has been everything lumped together in the #MeToo movement ranging from “he met me in a bathrobe and dropped it and told me to massage him until he came” to “his hand brushed against my rear when we were in an elevator,” kind of undifferentiated. This is going to cause an enormous backlash. I can sense it. And it could cost the Democrats what should otherwise be a tsunami election if they are perceived as being anti-male. I think Kaptur is trying to get out ahead of that and make sure that Democrats appear “reasonable.”

It wouldn’t surprise me if Pelosi came up with this idea and said one of us has got to do this and they drew straws and Kaptur got the short straw.

I don’t know if it can be viewed as an accomplishment, but Bannon got me to go frequently to the Breitbart website, all throughout 2016. What a bizarre experience. Almost every article, by every author, had an inverted cynical twist on history.
Almost as if that author was existing in an inverted timeline, during that time in history.
It wasn’t the same history that I remembered.
Boy they worked really hard to re-write history into a conspiracy whirlwind. “ALL OF IT” pinned on Democrats.

But it was the comment section that showed me an aspect of how some Americans can employ the concept of American exceptionalism, to justify anything.
And namecalling is endemic on that website. Certainly it was on that website that I got called the most numerous and rude names. When their arguments petered out, they resorted to impugning my patriotism.

That’s what happens when media outlets like Breitbart and Fox, work overtime to pervert and distort our history. They leave their victims with invalid or historically inaccurate arguments.
Then all they have left – is the namecalling.

Ok, boards checked, back to The Crown. (On ep 7, gah more of the boring Margaret soap opera sex crapola. Anyway this series is taking me forever to watch because I’m always stopping and researching the people and pondering things. (Also I need breaks from the relentless, ridiculously Riverdale-esque lighting)

Anyway, Claire Foy and her character both reign supreme and carry everything – it’s beautiful

i just minutes ago finished episode 6. i’m totally digging it and yes, i keep looking up random bits of trivia — like when was edward viii’s last visit to england, or how many estates does the queen own? the dialogue is really funny.

Technically, all we can say is that her brother-in-law used to be a hero and used to be handsome. Given the temporal qualifier of “ex” and no qualifier mentioned above, it’s not known as to whether the handsome hero components survive the exiting of the firefighting profession.

Honestly, Cher. In this case, if you could turn back time…if you could find a way…you’d find a band of time in which it is known that he’s both a hero and handsome. Today? He could be a gypsy, tramp, or thief.

    • Silver Badger

Sentencing due March 8. Can the judge reverse the jury’s decision?

      • coram nobis

Probably not, as I understand how it works in California. Now it’ll be up to the appellate courts. California did vote to speed up appeals and the process.

    • coram nobis

      So now we’ll see.

    • greenmanTN

I am firmly against the death penalty for many reasons but there are individual cases where guilt is so clear-cut and the crime is so heinous that I can’t muster any sympathy. This is one of them.

      • coram nobis

There’s always exceptions to the rule.

        • William

Nobody gets executed in California anymore.

          • coram nobis

CA did vote to speed up appeals and the process. There’s 700+ stacked up on Death Row so it could get interesting in the next few years.

      • LosFelizGuy

You don’t have to have sympathy for the criminal to be against the death penalty. There are many more valid reasons.

        • greenmanTN

Sympathy isn’t the reason I’m against it. I’m against it for political/ethical reasons and the fact that we suck at determining actual guilt. We have executed innocent people. But a case like this comes up and I’m not too torn up about it.

          • Silver Badger

We must agree to disagree with this one. I would expand the death penalty crimes to include child molesters. Possibly evangelicals, depending on how grumpy I am on any given day.

          • greenmanTN

Oh I don’t support the death penalty for evangelicals and fundamentalists at all! I just think they should be baptized for a really really really long time. 😇

    • Treant

I can’t disagree with that in this particular instance. It’s a pity we can’t treat him exactly the way Gabriel was treated.

  • Cuberly Deux

Um, bit of a ramble. Humor me.

GOP pols have written off Jones’ victory as a fluke, Moore being a flawed candidate, yada yada. Moore basically a tried and true bible humping GOP politically incubated result of the GOP/Evangelical toxicity over the past 10+ years. They’re characterizing this as a one off. Because “Alabama”. Stereotyping duly noted.

Just sort of gnaws at me that they’re completely ignoring the turn out of African Americans, & the women that crossed party lines.

Rancid Pubis (When he was the party head) opted to cultivate a purely white christian extremist GOP base.

I think I’m attaining optimism for a Dem blow out for 2018.

    • sadoldguy

When we* show up, we win.

      * Democrats, liberals, non-bible thumpers, non-kkk, non crazy white male under achievers …

      • Cuberly Deux

That’s what it comes down to. Yep.

    • Treant

It was a bit of a fluke, frankly. If he hadn’t diddled kids, he would have won (and if he hadn’t diddled kids, I wouldn’t’ve considered the race worth following, actually) by 10 points easily.

This was the perfect storm of a terrible Republican candidate, backlash against an incompetent “president,” and the typical start of the mid-term losses for the party in power–amplified by the fact that they hold all branches. Stats show that not only were Dem voter numbers way up from the usual midterm numbers, but that Republican numbers were severely depressed. And even so, Jones barely pulled it out.

And of course, some goombah gets behind me on a left-handed highway entry pushing me to go faster. With the minor traffic on the right, I had to pass and pull into the right lane.

At which point I made an absolutely lovely 180 on the highway at 40 MPH and ended up on the side grass margin. Thankfully, we have those.

I confess, every time I’ve made quiche (I’ve never made a pie!), I’ve used store bought crust. [Then again, I’ve never posted pics, ala “Look at me, I’m Julia Freaking Child!”] My quiches were almost always brought to church for Easter refreshment (after the lengthy Great Vigil of Easter service on Saturday night), and enjoyed w/ great gusto (along w/ champagne & chocolate: Lent is OVER, babies! :-D)

          • Mikey

well, it’s not mincemeat if it doesn’t, now is it!

          • UrsusArctos 🐻

I hated mincemeat pie until I had wonderful ones in Scotland. Apparently some idjit forgot to tell ‘Murikans to use a TON of citrus in it- zest and juice. Add Lemons/oranges/tangerines and *poof* ghastly turns into amazing. I shortcut and use the boxed mincemeat, the citrus, and add far less sugar. The jars of ‘mincemeat’ filling are sickly sweet to me.

          • Lazycrockett

You would be better off using the same ingredients and make peanut brittle which is much tastier.

          • Treant

Don’t look at me, the only pies I like are unsweetened apple and unsweetened sour cherry. Oh, and lemon…lightly sweetened, but if you pucker throughout the eating of it, that’s best.

          • safari

            Puckery

          • Skeptical_Inquirer

Someone once told me that instead of the one or two tablespoon of water in the recipe, one could substitute vodka and it would keep it flakier and more tender.

          • Lazycrockett

I have used the same recipe that I believe came from my great great grandmother. I like homemade cause you can determine the thickest of the crust to balance out the filling.

          • Skeptical_Inquirer

I also heard shortening is flakier but butter is tastier.

          • Lazycrockett

            Lard is the best.

          • Mikey

yoghurt. use a couple heaping tablespoons of yoghurt. it makes for a slightly yellower dough, which is a beautiful gold when cooked, and is tender, not so much flaky. and you can honestly never screw up your pie dough with that recipe.

          • Lazycrockett

If a pie crust ever calls for vinegar throw that away post haste.

          • Skeptical_Inquirer

I’ve never heard of that variation. I’ll try it.

          • Mikey

it has an advantage of also allowing you to rework the dough without it hardening, re-roll it, to make either extra pie or what we affectionately call “old man’s bellybuttons” or “nun farts” (roll out left over dough, slather with melted butter, then cover in brown sugar and cinnamon, roll tightly, and slice into 1/2″ – 1″{ pieces and bake).

          • Lazycrockett
          • Mikey

I’m not sure why you’re “making a face”.
it doesn’t taste of yoghurt at all, it just tastes like a nice rich pie crust.
it’s also more efficient as you don’t lose any of the dough as it dries out from being rolled.
all the bakers in my family and extended family use that recipe.
All I can say is: it’s your loss!

          • TuuxKabin

Trying that with vodka and/or tequila. Always open for a new technique. Thanks.

          • TuuxKabin

Thanks. Think we’ll compare. One with vodka, the other tequila.

          • JCF

My mom used to try to teach me her crust: I wasn’t interested (I’m not sure it would be suited to quiche, anyway. I love to be able to—at least sometimes—be able to pick up a piece by hand. Mom’s was too flaky for that. Great for fruit pies though!)

Goodbye part of my teen years.

Bannon is a modern-day Julius Streicher. His power comes from media followers and political patrons, and he trades in hyper-nationalism and bigotry.

    *Listens to police scanner*
It’s like everyone has cabin fever after our whole 6″ of snow and have started to beat their families tonight. Oh, and one guy shot himself — because he thought the gun wasn’t loaded. It was either in the hand or head, but I didn’t understand the word

    • Treant

It’s always like that when it storms! Any other night, they’d sit in front of the TV before meandering off to bed, having unsatisfying heterosexual sex, and falling into a fitful sleep fueled by their own despair.

But let it snow and suddenly they can’t leave the house they wouldn’t’ve left anyway. Now it’s a problem, though. Guns get cleaned. People get hit. Beers are handed off with the order, “Hold this and watch.”

This made the local news on Wednesday – the U.S. is truly a different world!

Police rushed to Centennial Square [in downtown Victoria, B.C.] Wednesday morning after someone reported seeing a man brandishing what was believed to be a handgun.

At around 10:30 a.m. police arrived at the square with weapons drawn.
Officers identified the man and took him into custody. They then
discovered he was actually carrying a pellet gun.

I took a paring knife back to its owner (a school employee) yesterday at school. I joked about making the school go on lockdown cuz of said 2.5″ paring knife.

Then I realized it wasn’t funny.

It’s a shitty state of affairs in the US today. 🙁

    • Reality.Bites

That’s overstating it somewhat. MPs are not government officials in the sense of having any more power in this area then anyone else.

This decision is within the purview of the home secretary. Individual MPs talking about it are basically no more than citizens with a microphone. They have no power to do anything about it except ask. So a more accurate phrasing would be “MPs and citizens trying to persuade Home Secretary to ban Graham.”

FCC is Scheduled to Vote on Net Neutrality Tomorrow, Based on Corrupted Public Comment Process

      • kareemachan

Oh, he does. He cares for $$$.

    • Michael R

Here’s a typical bot comment , they make it sound like destroying net neutrality is a good thing :

The current FCC regulatory scheme known as “Title II” represents an unprecedented increase in government control over the internet. Such over-regulation is hurting our economy and suffocating innovation. I support Chairman Pai’s plan to return to a commonsense regulatory framework that allows for the internet to grow without useless government interference. The internet has flourished for decades without the heavy hand of government over-regulation. It’s time we return to what works.

OT: Moore has released a bonkers video refusing to concede. There’s a link to it at this article talking about it.

    1. “We are indeed in a struggle to preserve our republic, our civilization, and our religion and to set free a suffering humanity. And the battle rages on.”

    2. “Because I believe the heart and soul of our country is at stake.”

    3. “Today, we no longer recognize the universal truth that God is the author of our life and liberty.”

    4. “Abortion, sodomy, and materialism have taken the place of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

    5. “We have stopped prayer in our schools.”

    6. “We have killed over 60 million of our unborn children.”

    7. “We have redefined marriage and destroyed the basis of family, which is the building block of our Country.”

    8. “We have even begun to recognize the right of a man to claim to be a woman, and vice versa.”

    9. “We have allowed Judges and justices to rule over our Constitution, and we have become slaves to their tyranny.”

    10. “Immorality sweeps over our land.”
