Roy Moore Campaign Wails: Liberals Got On Eventbrite And They Took All Our Tickets For Tonight’s Rally

The Birmingham News reports:

The Roy Moore-Steve Bannon rally south of Fairhope is free and open to the public, and attendees are not required to bring a ticket to get in. That’s a change in plans from a week or so  ago. According to Moore’s campaign strategist Dean Young, “We had a bunch of liberals who got on Eventbrite and they took all our tickets.”

“You can come without a ticket,” said Young. The rally starts at 6:30 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. at Oak Hollow Farm. “We need them to come and watch history and watch the most famous Alabama politician ever,” Young said, referring to Moore.

What will they do if all of the liberals show up early enough to take all the seats?

    • The_Wretched

Were I in the area, I’d go and find out. Subtle booing and hissing wouldn’t be out of line would it?

      • Tawreos

I was think of a lot of signs stating Molest her more by voting Molester Moore. Or something along those lines with equal subtlety.

  • Treant

Oh, snowflake. You overbook, like any other one does, and watch the registrations.

Fuckyou Roymoore is not likely to be a valid registration. Release the tickets. It’s called intelligence and attention to detail, plus a bit of forethought.

If you’d get your dick out of a fourteen year old, you might see that.

most famous? gee i thought ALA. Gov. Geo. Wallace was the most” famous”….Im thinking in order to be ‘famous” in AL you have to be racist, bigoted, a 24/7 NASCAR
    fan,and live in a pre 1956 single wide…is this true ?

    • Treant

They now allow you to live in a double wide, and you’re also allowed to fuck a cousin if you don’t have a brother or sister.

Other than that, not much has changed.

      • orion dumptee

really? if you fk all 3 (bro, sis, cousin,) do you get a double -wide with REAL marble window sills,,,and extra skylights??

        • Treant

And the flower boxes! Don’t forget the flower boxes!

You also get the spike collar and dog chain, but you gotta find the Doberman or pit bull yourself.

          • orion dumptee

ha ha ha…ok, and can i transfer the 6 (six) junk cars on my front lawn over to the new double wide? (3 are upside down)..any zoning on JUNK stoves, tvs or refrig on property? (pls advise) lol

You don’t expect them to know ancient history do you ?

      • orion dumptee

        ha ha ha ha

    • canoebum

Moore should be careful what he wishes for. Wallace ended up with a .38 cal. slug in his spine and a seat in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. If he keeps pushing people’s buttons, someone may decide to push back. Wouldn’t be the first time. There are a lot of out of control people walking around with guns these days (hat tip to the GOP).

  • safari

Can someone show up and just start accusing strangers there of being liberals taking up seats? I want it to be like one of those Old West bar fights.

    • RobynWatts

Here’s hoping that it’s himself and his junk takes the bullet!

  • gaycuckhubby
    • Tread

Too late. He should have fucking thought of that before he voted for the GOP Tax Scam.

      • gaycuckhubby

I really don’t understand your line of thinking. He doesn’t like Roy Moore because he’s a child predator. He doesn’t like Trump because he’s completely unfit for office. But he is still going to vote for the things he believes in. He believes in these tax cuts. Because he is public about his displeasure with the leaders in his party does not mean that he’s going to vote opposite of what he thinks is right.

        • Tread

You can’t sit there and say “country over party” while voting for a tax bill that’s going to harm millions of Americans. His votes also shouldn’t be based on his personal beliefs but what benefits his constituents. Our congress critters have lost sight of that.

          • gaycuckhubby

Okay, I should have rephrased. I don’t understand why people EXPECT people to vote opposite of what they believe.

          • thatotherjean

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it!”
            —-Upton Sinclair

He believes in tax cuts that will help no one except the very wealthy? Or is he voting for them because they benefit him, but not his constituents? A $100 check to Doug Jones’s campaign hardly makes up for damage to the people who voted for him.

          • gaycuckhubby

Ughh… I’m not saying it does

          • Tread

But that’s the point. It’s not what he believes that should cause him to vote. It should be what his constituents want. If he truly believed in “country over party” he would not have voted for the tax bill.

          • gaycuckhubby

So Senators should have voted for DOMA because thats what their constituents wanted at the time?

          • Chucktech

No, there’s this thing called “Leadership.” It’s a bitch sometimes, but that’s why we send representatives for us to Congress.

And since the long and short of this reprehensible tax bill is a “win” for the Republican party, and since he’s outta there next election anyway, he should have not voted for it.

          • gaycuckhubby

I actually think he believes in the bill

        • Jonty Coppersmith

He voted for tax cuts for rich people an corporations, but expects credit for saying he hates Trump and Moore. Sorry, NO! Fuck Flake!

          • gaycuckhubby

I’m not expecting anyone to like him or vote for him now. I just don’t think we should expect people to vote completely opposite of what they always have just because they don’t like a senator from Alabama

          • Librarykid

I think what people were hoping was that showing that he had a few morals and a bit of backbone by rebuking 45 and Moore might have progressed to the enlightenment leading him to vote against the tax bill, but I guess that’s like hoping a leopard will change its spots.

          • Jonty Coppersmith

Therein lies the problem, you see. I hate EVERYTHING fucking republicans stand for: misogyny, homophobia, theocracy, government of, by and for the rich, etc. So donating a hundred dollars to a democratic candidate wins him no accolades from me as long as he tows the line for his party through his votes.

          • gaycuckhubby

            Ok

          • JCF

If “Senator Roy Moore” helps bring down the Republican Party, then perhaps—being that I think the Republican Party is objectively bad for the Country—perhaps a true “Country Over Party” check goes TO Moore.

However, there are times when strategy gets in the way of morality. Roy Moore is SCUM. He shouldn’t be in the U.S. Senate regardless of which party his holding office would hurt or help. Therefore, I’m glad Flake donated to Jones…even though I’m not sure he’s really putting “Country Over Party” (since I’m not at all sure Flake understands what the good of the Country is).

        • Xiao Ai: The Social Gadfly

          Bullshit.

          • gaycuckhubby

            Ok

    • The_Wretched

Well, that’s a good act…Doesn’t make up for the “loot the poor” tax bill vote.

      • gaycuckhubby

The two issues are not related.

        • The_Wretched

They are if the question is “Is Jeff Flake a moral Republican?”

          • gaycuckhubby

For me that’s not the question though.

          • The_Wretched

For me, that’s the only question.

Context is always relevant. Really, if someone raped and murdered my pet dog, I would give no poopies that he was kind to cats and mowed my lawn for free. You can’t balance out the whole picture quite so easily. You should note I had no difficulty saying that giving to Jones was a good act.

What did you want us to infer from your posting of Flake’s check?

        • The_Wretched

Also noted on the other post of the image; that all depends on what you value. It’s entirely appropriate to consider Jeff Flake on the whole and he very recently just shit on everyone making less than $50,000 in the short term. It’s worse for the medium and longer term for everyone except the aristocrat tier.

      • Xiao Ai: The Social Gadfly

        Fuck flake with a .45.

        • Todd20036

You want Flake and Trump to fuck?

    • ChrisInKansas

His check # is only 221? Is this the account he only uses when he wants to buy people’s sympathy?

      • E.J.

        People still write checks?

        • JCF

Yes. Yes they do. Now get off of my lawn!

        • cleos_mom

No; and if the PCH Prize Patrol shows up at your house, tell them to buzz off. They’re bound to be imposters, what with that giant check and all.

It’s not the fault of “liberals” that Roy Moore is so toxic and unpopular that his supporters fail to snap up all the seats so quickly. I’ve seen B-list rock concerts sell out faster because what they’re selling is good and worth listening to.

  • Tawreos

I have a feeling that this a ply to get more of his people interested in the rally, since by showing up they can really stick it to all the nasty liberals

    • Halou

I guess a “bring your kids” crowd-padding ploy just isn’t appropriate considering the circumstances.

      • Treant
