Trump: We Need Roy Moore To Win

Politico reports:

President Donald Trump threw his support behind controversial Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore on Monday morning, tweeting that “we need Republican Roy Moore to win” in order to help push through the president’s agenda.

Trump has previously weighed in on the Alabama Senate race by strongly criticizing Moore’s Democratic opponent. He also told reporters in late November that Moore “says it didn’t happen” and “you have to listen to him also,” in reference to allegations that Moore molested a 14-year-old girl while he was in his 30s.

Multiple women have accused Moore of making passes at them while they were teenagers and he was much older and several have alleged he acted sexually inappropriately with them. A slew of Republicans have called on Moore to drop out of the race.

Mentioned it in the previous thread but Trump is conveniently holding a rally in Pensacola (about 25 miles from Alabama) on Friday.

Where are the Clinton accusers who were protesting at Franken and Conyers office on this?
Oh right, they haven’t said one word yet continue to support Trump and others who have attacked the Moore accusers while everyone insists we now believe them even when they do crap like this.

That’s an interesting take on “The Naked Prey.” Speaking of, “The Greatest Show on Earth” was on the boob-tube yesterday. Cornel Wilde sure was pretty.

Even that is no longer a disqualification for a “R” who will vote for tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.

I don’t think folks on the coasts understand how much misinformation is perpetrated in the rest of the country. The Columbus Dispatch (OH) has always been a Libertarian leaning Republican mouthpiece, but today they hit a new low with an op-ed that quoted the Daily Caller, plus we have two TV stations with Sinclair News. It is difficult to have conversations with people who are not stupid, but have been force fed all the wrong info.

    The propagandists are winning.

If the Democrats ever get back into power, one of their priorities ought to be to restore “Fair and Balanced” into FOC regulations.

They can’t do anythng about the printed media, but they could do a lot more with broadcast media.

Step 1: Reinstate the Fairness Doctorate on radio, TV, and cable.

Step 2: Do a MAJOR OVERHAUL on ownership caps. Good examples of this is Education Media Foundation’s abuse of translator rules, allowing them to broadcast to an area hundreds of miles from the main “studio” and Sinclair Broadcasting’s duopoly ownership in several television markets.

The bill was not a massive tax cut for your regular citizen, it was a massive tax increase thanks to the elimination of deductions that benefit the poor and middle class.

I remember reading last year that a nation that fell into the thrall of an authoritarian had about a year to remove him, before the really bad stuff would happen.

“………Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts…..” Finish the statement, you fucking douche! “…massive tax cuts for big businesses and the very wealthy….” which includes you, your business entanglements, and your family. Only a total fool and idiot could believe that this piece of legislation would not benefit you and family. Fortunately, this is something the Dems can overturn at some point if they manage to get a sufficient number of elected congressional members and a President in the next couple of upcoming elections – 2018 and 2020.
