SORRY NOT SORRY: Ohio Dem Gubernatorial Candidate “Apologizes” For Bragging About Sexual Conquests

“If I offended anyone, particularly the wonderful women in my life, I apologize. But if I have helped elevate the discussion on the serious issues of sexual assault, as opposed to personal indiscretions, to a new level…I make no apologies. Suggesting the admitted conduct of Senator Al Franken and the alleged conduct of Judge Roy Moore are on the same level trivializes the serious subject at hand. There are Democrats out there who are saying neither one of them pass the purity test to sit in the United States Senate. And that is sad.” – Ohio Supreme Court Justice and 2018 gubernatorial candidate Bill O’Neill, posting to Facebook.

NOBODY CARES WHO YOU BAGGED OR DIDN’T BAG! GET IT? GO THE FUCK AWAY!

    • Mrs. Councillor Nugent

As long as it wasn’t me, I do retain *some* standards, you know. πŸ™‚

    • Chucktech

Republican assholes who hide behind jesus and the bible do. It seems to me he’s telling them to fuck off.

  • Tatonka

    He looks like Herman Munster.

    • Robincho

      For the gwynne!…

  • Joe in PA

Are we sure this guy is a democrat?

    • Gay Fordham Prep Grad

I am not even sure he’s a politician…imagine admitting this BEFORE the election.

  • Bluto
  • Joe in PA

    I’ll steal a line from Sam_Handwich:

    This is going well.

    Thanks Sam. πŸ™‚

    • Chucktech

I don’t really see that it’s going that poorly.

  • Nychta

“But if I have helped elevate the discussion on the serious issues of sexual assault….”

But you haven’t, nope, not in the least.

    • Chucktech

Maybe not elevate the discussion but perhaps realigned or recalibrated it.

This guy had lots of (apparently) “normal” type sex. With consenting adults. What’s the BFD? Will self-righteous, holier than thou Republican assholes try to make an issue out of it? If they try, I think his honesty short circuits any of their moralizing bullshit.

      • Acronym Jim

It’s not the consensual sex that’s the problem, it’s bragging about your “conquests’ to show how much of a “man” you are.

        • Chucktech

OK, but I just didn’t get that vibe.

        • Spongebob CrankyPants

          Why is bragging a problem?

      • It is not about his sex life, it is how he objectifies women in his little facebook post, and then uses it to himself a self blow job.. It is about how he perceives himself.. I don’t care about his sex life. It is his attitude, besides he just shows how clueless men can be about serious problems like sexual assaults and sexual harassment of women..

        • gaycuckhubby

Everyone objectifies their sexual partners. Often in public. Gay men more than most… face it. We just find str8 sex icky

          • Do Something Nice

You run in the wrong circles.

          • JWC

If we be wrong then PLease you toss the first Rock

        • Chucktech

…besides he just shows how clueless men can be …

Oh, absolutely. In spades. But while YOU don’t care about his sex life, too many good christian busy bodies do and it’s high time they be told to sit down and shut the fuck up. That’s what I believe this guy, in a not-too-artful way, was doing.

          • “good christian busy bodies do and it’s high time they be told to sit down and shut the fuck up. ”

The only reasons that hypocritical “Christian” busy bodies care about other people’s sex lives, is similar to why the Medicis care about stabbing their rivals in the middle of the night or poisoning them: Power. Machiavelli is their true god, while they used Jeebus as a nice gift wrapping to hide whom they truly worship..

Right Wing Social Conservatives have plenty of their cohorts trying to recreate Passolini’s “Salo” every other weekend. They don’t express moral outrage, because their cohorts are on the same “team”. They are jettison when they caused PR embarrassment.

Tony Perkins put himself in legal jeopardy by refusing to report a sexual assault by Wes Goodman back in 2015, instead he will spin this and jettison Goodman once he got caught. He was much more concern with the PR problem than his legal parameters of not reporting a possible felony sexual assault..

        • JWC

Be it right or wrong I believe the one word that out weighs the rest is CONSENSUAL

          • Well, we only have one side of the “consensual” assignations.. It is not about the sex, it is this guy attitude, besides trying to jump into the reality with a bit of hyperbole that is mixed in to the warlock hunt, (instead of witch hunt) for real and imagine perpetrators..

      • romanhans

I’ve read a lot of your posts here and am still mystified. I think my core problem is this: when has a single, straight politician ever been criticized for having consensual sex? This idiot’s bragging is out of the blue. Next:

“Just to take the bull by the horns, I’d like to address this now. Yes, I have a very large penis.”

“I hope I’ve elevated this discussion like high heels elevate a shapely woman’s ass.”

        • David Walker

Really? I’ve heard that there are women who like to have sex with men. That they derive their own pleasure while providing same to her date. No one forced her on this date, and she always had the right to say “no” at any point. I see the remains of a fairly handsome man in that picture of O’Neill. Power, too. I don’t doubt that he’s had at least 50 affairs, if not dates, with woman and anything done was consensual.

I think that what O’Neill is saying is that there’s this thing called sex. If you think that it’s not just for baby making, then it is also for enjoyment, for the pleasure of those who chose to be there. And there’s a certain amount of respect for the other person. O’Neill says this is not unusual for a man (and, by extension, for a woman). Moore prefers to cut through the bullshit and pleasure himself the way he wants it, permission granted or not. To Moore, what else are women for?

          • marshlc

No, what O’Neill was saying, in his original post, is that all this noise the womenz are making about sexual assault is not important, let’s get to the important stuff like legalizing marijuana. Because hey, it’s all sex, right? and sex is good and nothing to apologize for? And the little matter of some of this sex being entirely consensual and some of it not…. well, I’ve read what he had to say several times now, and I’m not entirely sure that he is aware that there is a difference.

          • Spongebob CrankyPants

“No, what O’Neill was saying, in his original post, is that all this
noise the womenz are making about sexual assault is not important….” I didn’t get that out of his post at all. Interesting how different people see things differently.

          • romanhans

Yes, clearly O’Neill wants to show the respect he has for the lovely, very beautiful, hourglass-shaped, really really hot stacked smokin’ VA VA VOOM OH BABY YOU ARE SOOO FINE COME TO DADDY other person he has sex with.

      • Do Something Nice

That’s not the point. Only insecure losers “brag” about how many sexual partners they’ve had.

        • gaycuckhubby

LOL!!!! U must have missed the post last time. Virtually every long time commentator here was bragging about their numbers and how much higher it was than this guy… including our esteemed host*

          * at least implied

          • Dazzer

If you’re telling a simple truth, it’s not bragging.

    • Acronym Jim

Elevating the discussion by continuing to dig. Stranger things from upside down logic is going to lead to a carnivorous plant-man being the next Senator from Alabama.

      • Chucktech

Oh, come on. Alabama is some bizarro-world, jesus land freak show. Completely different.

        • Acronym Jim

Those two things are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

        • Judas Peckerwood

Have you ever actually been to Ohio?

          • Chucktech

As a matter of fact, yes I have. Ohio has nothing on Alabama.

  • Natty Enquirer

If you have to explain your satire, you have failed.

  • worstcultever

He needs to take the Public Service 101 course, i.e. watch some Danica Roem videos. He seems really stuck on the β€œit’s all about me” thing.

    • geoffalnutt

      Many politicians are.

      • worstcultever

        WAY too many

  • Gay Fordham Prep Grad

Honey, there is nothing to apologize for provided everyone involved was a non-drunk, fully consenting adult. Party on Garth!

    • Craig Howell

Or at least a condescending adult.

      • Robincho

Any intercourse with O’Neill, social or otherwise, would be a condescension…

    • Chucktech

      Thank you!

  • another_steve

I remember, with considerable fondness, my sexual conquests. That was a long time ago, though.

Today, a “conquest” is if I can figure out how to replace the fluorescent bulb in my kitchen.

    • Gustav2

First, gently grab the cylindrical object, then give it a slight twist…

      • another_steve

But it’s the placement of the thing, on the ceiling, that’s the bitch. It’s enclosed by an elaborate cover with fifty screws that go this way and that.

Man and I have a plan for how we’re going to continue to age gracefully in place:

A live-in (legal age, of course) handyman boy.

        • Chucktech

          Handy man-boy.

        • Gretchen

That sounds like a much more enjoyable option than our plan to invest in senior living community accommodations.

          • another_steve

“Aging gracefully and successfully in place” is a big thing today. Where I live, there are community organizations designed to help seniors do just that. To help provide the needed support and resources and the like.

Man and I live on a 5-acre property in a large house, but we’re gonna give it a shot. πŸ˜‰

        • stuckinthewoods

My second partner’s..kvater, if you will, did just that, a younger gay couple in fact One of those died before he did, but he died last year at 92. The remaining man now lives in his house. It seems to have worked out well. I was glad to know he had someone to take care of him.

          • another_steve

For those who can financially afford it, it’s an arrangement that can work well.

One of our neighbors was an elderly widow who wanted to stay in place. So she hired a live-in younger woman to be her housekeeper/caregiver.

Our neighbor has since passed away, but she was able to enjoy the home she loved right up until the end.

          • stuckinthewoods

This worked out because M had no children or likely heirs, B (#2) having died. C was there to help and has now evidently inherited M’s estate. I’d have been the logical person to be M’s caretaker but my own parents in another state required my attention, so I was happy to know there was someone to attend to M, provide him companionship, and who now has his own security. It was a sort of adult adoption of C and J. I don’t know C but wish him well.
Probably not as easy an arrangement to find compared to a hired caregiver.

    • Judas Peckerwood

How many JMG commenters does it take to change a lightbulb?

      • another_steve

Well, not all male homosexuals are useless when it comes to that stuff – but I am.

I’m not good with my hands. You should see me trying to open up, for example, a box of cereal. Little shreds of cardboard everywhere, plus I can never successfully re-close the thing.

My cat watches me and thinks to herself: “Fuckin’ idiot. Well at least he feeds me, so there’s that.”

  • Boreal

‘But if I have helped elevate the discussion on the serious issues of sexual assault’
Indeed you did, you are a gross freak. You are just the kind of fucknut no one except repigs want to see elected.

  • gaycuckhubby

I don’t think he should apologize for bragging about how many ppl he slept with

    • Natty Enquirer

O’Neill’s post was troll bait and it succeeded. But he’s not a very good troll because he lost his nerve and had to issue a notpology.

      • gaycuckhubby

        I wish he hadn’t

    • worstcultever

I do because it’s boring. Who cares (or should) but him and his partners.

      • Chucktech

That’s a very progressive, late 21st century position. That’s not where America is right now.

      • gaycuckhubby

He’s advocating for sex positive thinking πŸ™‚

        • Chucktech

          Quelle horror!

        • worstcultever

But the world isn’t a JMG board, where everybody’s loose and freewheeling with their thoughts – dunno, sex-bragging out in the big world has always just struck me as sad

          • Chucktech

It’s quite possible that he decided that having “so many (for a heterosexual)” partners might be discovered, he’s making pre-emptive action to cut its legs off.

          • stuckinthewoods

What other reason could there be to answer a question no one asked?

          • Chucktech

To keep it from being asked out on the hustings.

          • stuckinthewoods

Agree, you’d given the only sensible reason.

    • edrex

i agree. but don’t you think it’s kind of tacky to proclaim unprompted as a public political figure? his history of sexual conquests
      isn’t exactly relevant — yet.

      • gaycuckhubby

Yeah kind of. And i’m a prude tbh… but isn’t this what the queer liberation movement has been about for 50+ years

  • Kevin Perez

Please tell me that he’s not the only declared Democratic candidate for Ohio Governor.

    • Gustav2

No, and he was not likely to win the nomination even before Richard Cordray was teasing entering. Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley would have likely won the nomination.

  • Chucktech

I don’t find his admissions to be bragging, I find them a refreshing way to shut down self-righteous, gawd infused indignant bullshit that would almost certainly be coming from a Republican challenger. Good for him.

    • worstcultever

Yeah, I guess I do get it from that angle, somewhat

    • Tom Furgas

Wouldn’t be “bragging” if he didn’t feel the need to ensure us that he conquests were “very attractive”, rather than homely, sagging old bags.

      • Chucktech

On that, I agree. But straight people just can’t help but be awkward when talking about “such things.” They’re just not good at it. Someday that will change. Good.

        • gaycuckhubby

Lol… we brag about hot guys all the time

          • Chucktech

            Yes! It works for us!

      • MBear

Perhaps he finds crack whores “very attractive “

    • David Walker

You’ve been arrested for…I don’t know…something serious. Because this is already a made-up scenario, you are given a choice between Judge O’Neill and ex-judge Roy Moore. Your choice? From whom do you think you’d get a fairer trial? If I knew nothing about their sex lives, I’d choose O’Neill for the simple reason that it looks like he thinks things through whereas the ex-judge has already prayed about and god has spoken to him. The ex-judge is toxic; Judge O’Neill is smarmy, but I think I’d stand a better chance with smarmy than with toxic. Does this have anything to do with the case?

      • Chucktech

Besides, Moore wears that laughably stoopid cowboy hat and brandishes his little penis pistol.

  • Guess

    If, if, if…

This “D” has legs on it.

  • Uncle Mark

Now that Mr Casanova has felt the need to beat his chest and tell us about his exploits of women playing “connect the liver spots” with him, watch some woman/women come forward with their own “Tales of Ewwwww” about this creep. We’ll find out that he’s either not as wholesome as he appears, or that one could boil a 3 minute egg in the time it takes him to make that “passionate hayloft lovin'”

    • gaycuckhubby

      Why is he a creep?

      • He is a creep, because he is self center, doesn’t realize that he makes statements that make most people skin crawl, when he thinks that he is shitting out bricks of gold.

An apology should be about being contrite and a bit humble. A “non apology apology” is more like “if anyone is offended by my action, it was not my intent”, which places the blame on others. He then goes on that he was right all along..

As much I agree with Bill Maher, politically, he is a creep and he acts very similar in many ways to Bill O’Neill, both make sleazy apologies after crazy remarks, or how they are so special, and we should be grateful to hear their voices..

      • Uncle Mark

He’s a creep, because the public discourse is about sexual assault & sexual predation. The creepy, clueless, self-centered butt-hole uses this as an opportunity to brag about his sexual exploits with (I presume) consenting adults. I sure hope he doesn’t get any rape victims in his courtroom, as I imagine that he would use that as an opportunity to make it about himself, regaling the courtroom of his alleged sexual conquest last weekend.

      • SoCalGal20

As a woman, this guy gives me creeper vibes. If all his sexual escapades are truly with consenting women, then more power to him! I don’t give a shit.

But with guys who talk like this, it’s a flag to me that things might be viewed differently by the other parties. But maybe he just puts out bad statements.

    • Chucktech

So, you’d rather have his Republican challenger spring this “revelation” a month before the election with a typical, Republican self-righteous indignation?

      • worstcultever

But the issue of the day isn’t sex or lust – it’s non-consensuality. If this guy is a big sex hound/sex enjoyer with consensual partners, what’s to accuse him of? What “bad stuff” is there to even come out?

        • Chucktech

It SHOULD be about consensuality. In Flyoverville, Christendom, it’s about sex.

      • Judas Peckerwood

No, I would rather that he lose the Democratic primary to someone who isn’t a creepy jackass so that the Republican doesn’t win.

    • netxtown

I see this as a very risky move on his part. Some men – gay or straight – are gonna blab and brag. But, in his case – if even one of those 50 says it wasn’t consensual (I told him to stop!) – he’s toast. So, unless he is a complete dumbfuck – I would venture his revelation is more about addressing the elephant in the room: we all fuck. we all like to fuck. we all like to fuck a lot. And, we can all fuck whoever wants to be fucked anytime, anyplace – and there not be a damned thing ‘wrong’ with it.

  • Tom Furgas

Democrat, Republican, or Independent, he’s an asshole.

    • gaycuckhubby

      Why?

      • Tom Furgas

Bragging about sexual conquests, and in this case assuring readers that said conquests were “very attractive”, is just totally fucked up. He’s reducing those women to sex objects whose sole existence is to satisfy his carnal desires. And, moreover, he assumed that this bragging would garner more votes.

        • Chucktech

Unfortunate wording, perhaps, but refreshing honesty that disallows some asshole from making political hay over it.

          • Tom Furgas

Not “disallows” but rather (hopefully) “prevents”.

          • Chucktech

            Absolutely.

        • Ernest Endevor

Gay men brag about sexual conquests all the time. For many it seems to be a point of pride. What’s different?

          • gaycuckhubby

Cause heterosexual male sexuality is the not allowed to be as free?

          • Ernest Endevor

No. Just pointing out what seemed to be a double-standard.

          • gaycuckhubby

            I agree with u

          • Tom Furgas

It’s fucked up no matter who does it.

          • Chucktech

“I’m just not… comfortable talking about such things.”

            Well………OK……..

          • Bj Lincoln

In a bar with friends. Not from your seat on the bench when talking about sex crimes.

          • Tom Furgas

If sex with another person is not an expression of love and commitment then it’s just using another human being as a masturbation object. I have ALWAYS despised “casual” sex, bath houses, et al. Just stick with Mister Thumb and his four sons…it’s more sanitary.

          • Bj Lincoln

While I am on the same page as you, I know plenty of people who are not looking for commitments. Being careful in choosing a person for the night and safe sex is the most important thing.

          • Ernest Endevor

            Fair enough.

          • Bj Lincoln

Do you brag as part of a discussion about sex abuse or rape?

          • Ernest Endevor

I don’t actually brag myself, and dislike it in others. Particularly when it’s done in public. I didn’t think that rape had entered into the conversation, I was merely pointing to what seemed like a double-standard.

          • doninkansas

and the hotter they are, the more they brag! look what followed ME home last night!!!

        • gaycuckhubby

What? We do it all the time

        • worstcultever

yeah, the “hot women love me” is somewhat desperate/juvenile/Dumpyesque

  • This is guy is such a creep. He uses a typical non apology apology, and then he doesn’t apologize, because he is such a torch bearer for “elevating the discussion”..

Just stop digging a hole, he is his own worst enemy..

    • Chucktech

Sometimes a non-apology apology is appropriate. IMO, this is one of those times.

      • If one is going to apologize, be sincere. A “Non apology apology” is something out of “1984”, it is ersatz, it is pure PR.. Explaining one’s self as Bill O’Neill stated just makes it worse..

        • Chucktech

But sometimes, and expected apology should be a “fuck off.”

          • “Fuck off” is not an apology, that is defiance. If he wants to write “Fuck off” fine, but don’t expect much sympathy.

An apology is being contrite, it is also showing that they learn from their mistakes. Politicians do this “non apology apology” as insincere way to get out of PR problem. It is kind of condescending and not really contrition.

      • Nychta

He has nothing to apologize about for having sex.

He’s getting off on using the flood of sexual assault allegations as an occasion to brag about his sex life. From his original post: “In the last fifty years I was sexually intimate with approximately 50 very attractive females.”

Why count? (As some of the commenters here gleefully pointed out when Joe first posted the story, O’Neill is an underachiever.) Why the need to say the “females” were “very attractive”? He’s just giving himself an ego boost.

        • Chucktech

Suppose he left out “very attractive” (and IMO, he certainly should have).

What he would then be saying is “I’ve been very sexually active and I’m putting those cards on the table right now.”

I really believe that’s what he was doing.

          • Nychta

I can see that. If he’d stated it as you just have, it would have come across as a simple fact. Instead, he comes across as an arrogant braggart.

It’s interesting to read these posts and see how differently people respond to O’Neill. I think we female-bodied persons (and I’m not speaking for all) are simply weary of hetero guys acting as if having sex with a woman is some sort of trophy hunt. “Hey, look at me! I’ve bagged 50 babes!”

          • LaChatSayWha

Yeah, but what he did was equate sexual activity with sexual predation. He’s missing the point of the movement against sexual harassers & he made that very clear in his fb post.

What’s worse is that he’s a powerful judge who’s been handing down decisions affecting the lives of women and girls for many years and he doesn’t have the slightest understanding of consent.

I don’t give a shit about what he’s consensually done with his dick.

        • Hue-Man

He doesn’t count the unattractive or the “merely attractive”!

      • JAKvirginia

Why is he even in the discussion? Should’ve kept his big yap shut.

        • David Walker

I think he’s in the discussion to provide the reality. Almost all men like sex. “Most are like me…we go out for a good time with a woman who wants the same. Women enjoy sex, too, you know.” He doesn’t bother to talk about us, because we’re not the point. Ex-judge Moore is, however. “Ex-judge Moore doesn’t give a shit about women. He’d much rather poke his finger in holes just for his own pleasure. He doesn’t consider the age of the forced-partner. He doesn’t ask her if she likes what he’s doing to her. Sex is for men. Sex for the ex-judge is diddling early-teen girls.”

I think he’s proposing there is a difference between mature men and utterly immature, even say “sick,” men.

          • JAKvirginia

The quoted statements you use, are they from hid (O’Neill’s) Fbook page? I couldn’t access it.

          • David Walker

My paraphrasing of his comments. I should have been more specific. I apologize that it was misleading.

    • coram nobis

It may be a campaign strategy. He certainly has gotten free publicity, and maybe he figures it’s what got Doorknob Frump elected, and might elect Roy Moore. It’s name recognition. If Charles Manson were on that ballot, he might very well get 35% of the vote because people had vaguely heard of him somewhere.

  • Uncle Mark

So Judge Hot Crotch here takes a very serious public discussion about sexual assault and uses it as an opportunity to gross us out with his gross-out tales of sexual conquest. Does he NOT know the difference between sexual assault and consenting sex between adult…or is he one of those people, who make EVERYTHING about him? How is he still a judge? I can imagine some poor victim of sexual assault in his courtroom recounting the trauma, followed by Judge Hot-Crotch telling the victim, “That’s nothing; let me tell ya about this hottie I was with last night.”

    • 2guysnamedjoe

let me tell ya about this hottie I was with last night.”last night in 1957.”

Franken: one accusation that has been repudiated by several.
moore: several accusation that have be substantiated by many.
Franken: apologized and invited a investigation.
moore: protests his innocence too much.

the facts speak loud and clear as to who is believable and who is fit to represent their constituents.

  • Longpole

Based on his picture above, I would say that his sexual conquests are a thing of the past, from long, long ago. Not to be repeated.

    • gaycuckhubby

If its inappropriate for him to say how hot the women were that he fucked then it’s inappropriate to talk about how unattractive he is to u

      • Jean-Marc in Canada

It’s not inappropriate for him to say women are hot, it’s the tone and context in which he is making that statement that rankles. As for turning the tables on him vis-a-vis his own looks, well, it’s the standard he set, so throwing it back at him isn’t entirely inappropriate.

        • gaycuckhubby

I dont think either one is inappropriate πŸ™‚

  • Lee Grupsmith-Pedersen

There’s no statute of limitations on slut shaming so I think we should hound him forever. Just because.

    • Gustav2

As we should slut shame Nancy Reagan.

They say Nancy Davis gave the best blowjobs in Hollywood.

It’s a Catch 22. He needs to apologize for being clueless, but of course he’s too clueless to see how clueless he was. My head hurts, mommy.

  • marshlc

And for the second time, he misses the entire goddamned point.

It is not a scandal if fifty women have seen your dick. It IS a scandal if some of those women did not WANT to see your dick. Here’s the best thing I’ve seen about this guy and his stupid dick: https://wonkette.com/625966/ohio-supreme-court-judge-wants-you-to-know-he-is-a-real-sex-machine-to-all-the-chicks

I’m heterosexual. I’m not required to be decent.

It makes me seriously question the standards of these women.

  • JWC

I fully agree with this gentleman. It is a conversation that HAS to be elevated. In this wonderful world of the nternet it is far more convenient to express an opinion than it is to present facts.A headline “hits’ and its a veritable feeding frenzy. Everyone is in, with their witty and “oh snap” responses with out actually responding to the comment at all. No one really reads and listenes and are then apparently Ill prepared. The headline reads” Sex abuse” and immediatelythe stage is set for our pecedilous and prejudicious. To say that Donald Trump ,Roy Moore and Al Frraken have all been iinvoled,is true To say that Donald Trump, Roy Moore and Al Franken are of the same moral fabric,is not. Am I saying here that there are various levels od abuse some better than other No I am not ,The immediate judgment by ill informed millenials, the, anyhing but Hillary types. In the last issue of Bill Maher I was quite taken by his panelist. The main panel consisted of Max Brooks, Carl Berstein Rebecca Traister and Chelsea Handler. Although Maher and Handler were their trademarks for the most part, the interaction of the panel was remarkable, Remarkable in the fact, that they listerened and that the panelist did not try to “talk over’ or drown out the others They listened and they responded This is a tad uncommon in discussion groups today where it seems necessary to get the maximum anount of “brownie points’ in the shortest amount of time. This is quite obvious in any Kelly Ann or Sarah interviews. Fast action comments, non answers and move on. Sadly this what we apparently want , both in direction and preference This is why it is inherent that this conversations , with this gentleman be elevated and not hijacked or dismissed as being made by some oversexed person These are comments that , althought it may be uncomfortable, shouldn’t be, we are after all ,humans discussing a very human condition. The “holier than thou” elements have never seen the value of discussion . I suppose ignorance is bliss is more the tune. To judge either side in this discussion is sadly missing the point

    • Stuart ArtFart

      Well said!

    • Ann Kah

No female wants to be just another notch carved on his bedpost. What he does, con sensually, was undoubtedly done with the assumed discretion of both parties. That, he has violated, and very publicly indeed.

      • JWC

Consenuallu can and often is retracted when onr party feels used and as that requires definition of events and circumstances I am nor even going there Man and woman are different fot very apparent and obvious reasons Histort, right or wrong m g has always accepted Male as superior Female , the weaaker sex Countyless arguements betrween Uou and I will not alter equality

  • Stuart ArtFart

He’s a straight man who refuses to turn in his balls in this current hysterical climate. Although I’m not a fan of straight men (generally speaking) and although I don’t condone the heterosexual lifestyle, I understand where he’s coming from and what he’s trying to say. Not every interaction between hetero men and women that has a sexual motivation is or should be construed as sexual harrassment. Context counts and nuance is relevant. Sometimes a pass is just a pass. If you can’t deal with it, join a convent.

  • Ann Kah

“Elevate” the discussion? You’ve brought it right down to the level of perennial adolescents, bragging to their peers down at the pool hall about their conquests.
