Roger Stone Melts Down Over Mueller Indictments, Lobs Obscene Tirade Against “Human Excrement” At CNN

The Wrap reports:

Roger Stone, the combative political consultant and former adviser to President Donald Trump, on Friday launched a foul-mouthed tirade on CNN stars such as Don Lemon, Jake Tapper and Ann Navarro as “human excrement.”

The Twitter rant came as the network exclusively reported that a grand jury in Washington, D.C., had approved the first charges in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

He also called for Lemon — who this week reported death threats made against him to the New York Police Department — to “be confronted, humiliated, mocked and punished.”

Stone is openly bisexual (“tri-sexual” as he puts it) and is buddies with homocon Milo, so it’s remarkable that he stoops to ridiculing Lemon as a “cocksucker.”

    What Mueller’s move means

Matt Miller, a former Obama Justice Department official, “I think it means this will be a rolling investigation. Rather than conduct his entire investigation and then wrap things up with indictments and possibly a report at the end, he is doing it in stages, the way the Justice Department might attack a drug cartel or a mafia family.”

He added that this “is a watershed moment for the politics surrounding the investigation.”

so don can resign at any time it gets too hot

      • David L. Caster

So the heat can build up and trigger more rolling over of the guilty on the other guiltily but not yet indicted, flushing out still more of the rats. It’s classic RICO dismantlement of a crooked enterprise.

As far as Trump is concerned, this will be about the GOP getting the hint and going up to the WH to tell POTUS it’s time to go. I’m not banking on Trump being implicated though. At least not yet. He’s just not smart enough to conspire and has too big of an ego to give up even if he did. Certainly not honorable enough to go gracefully like Nixon.

        • pj

start with him not having enjoyed being president like he thought. you have to work all the time, do stuff you dont want to to do, people dont do what you want them to do. plus hes had a long time to prepare for muller and now its here. he dosent have much fight in him anymore and hed rather be cheating at golf somewhere. so he resigns and blames the whole thing on somebody….anybody. they dont have to ask hes ready to go.

          • David L. Caster

There is merit in what you say. OTOH, Trump sees everything as a zero-sum game: for somebody to win, someone else has to lose. Trump cheats at golf and everything else because he can’t stand the idea that he is going to or has lost—is a loser. He will do anything to convince himself that he has or will win.

Trump may want to be doing something else besides the work of being POTUS, but there is another part that gnaws at him and tells him he must win at whatever it is that is propping up his ego at the moment. In his mind he is the CEO of the USA and he is not going down without a fight.

          • pj

i agree with what you say. but in the end he is a con man. and when he knows the jig is up he will pack his bags and catch the midnight train out of town.

          • David L. Caster

I so hope you are right and you may very well be. Almost certainly though, the whole process leading to that outcome, should it occur, will result in massive collateral damage.

OT: I don’t know if anybody ever answered their ad but . . .

      https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2008/06/02/the-dirty-trickster

“Stone served as a senior consultant to Bob Dole’s 1996 campaign for
President, but that assignment ended in a characteristic conflagration. The National Enquirer, in a story headlined “Top Dole Aide Caught in Group-Sex Ring,” reported that the Stones had apparently run personal ads in a magazine called Local Swing Fever and on a Web site that had been set up with Nydia’s credit card. “Hot, insatiable lady and her handsome body builder husband, experienced swingers, seek similar couples or exceptional muscular . . . single men,” the ad on the Web site stated. The ads sought athletes and military men, while discouraging overweight candidates, and included photographs of the Stones. At the time, Stone claimed that he had been set up by a “very sick individual,” but he was forced to resign from Dole’s campaign. Stone acknowledged to me that the ads were authentic. “When that whole thing hit the fan in 1996, the reason I gave a blanket denial was that my grandparents were still alive,” he said. “I’m not guilty of hypocrisy. I’m a libertarian and a libertine.”

  • Many of us remarked on Stone’s rage-tweet meltdown last night, and how it had the reek of panic.

In the summer and early autumn of last year, Stone couldn’t help but do the evil minion hand-scrub thing, where he’d tweet about what he claimed he knew was coming. In one particular instance, I think it was August, he tweeted how it would “soon be Podesta’s turn in the barrel.”

Nothing happened right away, so many just thought Stone was blowing smoke. Then, within HOURS of the Access Hollywood recording hitting, guess who’s hacked emails suddenly appeared via Wikileaks?

Podesta’s. Meaning Mr. Stone there had foreknowledge a crime had been committed, or appeared to at any rate. If so, this would potentially open him up to conspiracy charges because hacking is illegal as is receiving stolen property (even if it’s data). And one of my contentions is that while some individuals may have been close enough to Trump’s inner circle to have knowledge of the conspiracy—Stone, Giuliani, Christie, Page—they didn’t remain close enough to be protected once the shit began raining down. In other words, not on Donald’s “must be pardoned” list.

While some folks might think Donald would pardon everybody, I maintain that isn’t so. He’ll only pardon people he cares about. Others, he doesn’t care if they go to prison, especially if he and his lawyers don’t think said individuals can implicate Donald or his family members. Again, I don’t think Stone was plugged in closely enough to do that either. Hence panic and rage.

    We’ll see.

    • Skeptical_Inquirer

Considering Donald stiffs everyone and even his lawyers have to double up whenever they have a conversation with him so they can back each other up when it comes to what he said to them, I’m wondering what caliber of lawyers are willing to work with Donald. Also a client has to be able to help his lawyers do their job so . . .

    • Also, there’s almost no one short of his own family whom Donald wouldn’t send to prison if he thought it’d take the heat off himself. And I ain’t even sure about the family members.

If you believe what Louis Mensch says on her blog Patribotics there are sealed indictments (plural) lined up against quite a few, including trump. Stemming from the Virginia grand jury and also the Southern Dist of NY. She was reporting this last summer.

      • Misutaa Roboto

Louise Mensch is not a reliable source.

  • boobert

Are they betting on this in vegas? I don’t really care who is the first charged, I just want there to be a lot that follow.

    • Lars Littlefield

I also want them all convicted.

      • Steverino

They are all cons, and none of them to be ex-cons anytime soon.

  • SoCalGal20
    • OdieDenCO

can we impeach the moron in office now before we start looking for another one?

      • Ernest Endevor

        It’s exhausting, isn’t it?

  • shellback
  • sisterfalconer

    Run, rats, run !

    • Treant

We like puns around here. So “Run, rat shit, run” might go over better.

    • JCF

      I thinking more “covkroaches”. ;-/

      • sisterfalconer

I was going for alliteration. 🙂

  • amitco

Report him. Let’s have him join Mi1o with a nice BAN from twitter

  • Barry William Teske

And in other news, Roger Stone shows the world just how comically bewigged he truly is.

  • Dazzer

Roger Stone really wants Don Lemon to fuck him, doesn’t he?

    • JCF

      Desperately.

  • kareemachan

Hitting too close to home, Rog?

    Lulz.

ETA: “Trisexual”? Is that when you have sex with a man, woman, and pentaped?

  • fkevin

OT: My memory is a little hazy, around 1993 Washington DC’s mostly straight BDSM group Black Rose held a weekend gathering in a hotel on 17th street south of Dupont Circle area. Rumor flew thru the wait staff (wink, wink) I was on at the hotel that Oliver Stone and his wife would be…might be attending. Realize Oliver stone released his film JFK in December 1991 so he was in the spotlight for quite awhile. I wondered why would Oliver Stone fly all the way to DC when he had all of LA, and then never heard anything more. All these years latter and with info on the ‘net, I’m guessing the rumor was about Roger Stone with his newish, swinging wife Nydia and not Oliver Stone.

    • stevenj

The disinformation campaign against O. Stone and his film JFK began shortly before the film was released. I saw Stone last February at a one night seminar in Santa Barbara where he previewed an episode (on the Cold War years) from his Netflix series Untold History of the US. He mentioned the orchestrated campaign against his film JFK.

      • fkevin

I remember controversy before the release of JFK. It did rile feathers before & after. Interesting tidbit from O. Stone. Thank you.

  • Adam King

I wonder if Mueller has a spare indictment in his pocket for this asshat.

  • JAKvirginia

    He seems nice.

  • juanjo54
  • LeeCMH

Whoa. Roger. You’re off the rails again.

  • Albert Ross

    Oh.
    It’s mad.

  • James

I’ve just reported all those tweets as violations of Twitter’s TOS. Based on the accounts they’ve suspended for far less they should suspend his, but I’m not particularly hopeful.

    • MaryJOGrady

      Thank you for doing that.
      Civility matters.

    • Claude Jacques Bonhomme

If so, I hope there is a readily available archive in multiple locations.

  • BearEyes

    Panic is not pretty
He knows the jig is soon up

  • Friday

When liars have another psychotic break. 🙂

  • MaryJOGrady

Anyone with a big tattoo of Richard M. Nixon on his back is bound to be a foul human specimen.

  • BartmanLA

I started laughing at the first tweet, by the last one I was rolling, his frantic and vehement posting was so obviously desperate and reeks of grasping at straws, ANY straw to deflect, distract, and make any attempt possible to lay blame for the utter shit storm this country is experiencing on anyone other than Trump and his cronies. Poor Roger, he thinks he’s still relevant and has a say in the political arena. It’s almost cute, if he wasn’t such a raging hate filled asskisser.

  • Claude Jacques Bonhomme

I clicked on @CharlesBlow in the above tweet and got a response that his twitter account is suspended. Any insight, anyone?

[EDIT]: Charles Blow’s twitter account is actually @CharlesMBlow. That explains it. Roger Stone misspelled the account in his drunken rant.

  • ColdCountry

What a guy! I am proud not to list him among my friends or acquaintances.

  • Itsatarp

Self loathing gay men are the worst.

  • Homo Erectus

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

  • Michael Hampton

My mom says crazy things too. It’s not news. Please stop giving this asshole a platform.

    • clay

just as soon as Turmp stops listening to him.

  • JaniceInToronto

    He sounds upset.

  • CottonBlimp

When AT&T aquires Time Warner the house cleaning at CNN of human excrement like @donlemon @jaketapper & dumbfuck @ananavarro will be swift

Not to give this bargain bin Bond villain more fear than he deserves, but he’s letting on to a genuine worry we ought to have; that companies are just going to buy out media outlets and fire anyone at them who fucking tells the truth.

If you think CNN is bad now, oh boy.

  • Blackfork

Roger has his “shittin’ pants” on.

  • coram nobis

Josh Marshall at TPM has an ominous take on this threat.

    http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/will-it-soon-be-cnns-time-in-the-barrel

AT&T is currently trying to finalize an $86 billion acquisition of Time Warner. It’s actually behind schedule. But not to worry. The companies say they are extending their deadline “for a short period of time to facilitate obtaining final regulatory approval required to close the merger.”

AT&T needs the Justice Department’s approval for that deal. Normally, that decision would be housed off at the Antitrust Division at the Justice Department. But no one thinks that’s how it works in the Trump Administration. AT&T needs Donald Trump’s sign off …

Obviously, Roger Stone can rant and wish all he wants. He was in a splutter and a rage. How can he know what AT&T is going to do. But let’s go back to one more thing we know. Roger Stone still regularly talks to President Trump. Is that what President Trump told Stone? That AT&T promised they’ll ‘clean house’ at CNN?

  • -M-

‘Remarkable’ as in worth remarking about, but not at all surprising for Stone.

  • argeejay

This clown is a nobody that wants so bad to be relevant.

    • Spray on abs

I guess he includes blow up dolls as sex partners.

  • Gianni

Geez, the ugliest face in Washington goes on a rant. What’s driving that Rodger? Worse yet, I just find out he’s bi? Good lord, who’d ever want to?

    • kareemachan

      He sez he’s “trisexual”. WTF?

      • thatotherjean

        Men, women, and himself?

  • Steven B

Is none of this hoo ha reportable to Twitter? There is at least some slander here. Maybe threats?

  • Dave F.

Hurray! Twitter suspended this dumbass’s account!

  • BartmanLA
  • kareemachan

And now he’s twitterless. Quelle dommage.

  • Stuart Wyman-Cahall

I didn’t know Stone was LGBT. Wow. And I follow current events. Kinda makes me wanna sign up for some Marcus Bachmann repairitive therapy. I wonder if my Trumpcare will cover it.

    • Canadian Observer

Don’t go rushing into therapy just yet… remember there is a difference between LGBT and a prick that will screw anything and anybody.

  • BartmanLA

He claims that the ban is for only 3 days and he’ll be back, but hopefully if enough people object to his tirades maybe they’ll permanently ban this waste of space.

  • John Calendo
  • houstonray

I read that he has now been banned permanently from Twitter. Good.

Hateful bigot that he is. I reported as many of his tweets as I could last night, and I’ sure thousands more did.

    Bye Felicia!

  • Canadian Observer

Does anyone else remember when conservatives used to claim that courtesy and politeness were “conservative virtues”?

    • SDG

      No, not in my lifetime.

    • Ernest Endevor

Yes. And some still do. And for some that’s true. Unfortunately, those aren’t the conservatives we hear from or about.
