Trump Rants About Tom Steyer’s Impeachment Ad

Politico reports:

President Donald Trump blasted Tom Steyer on Friday, calling the Democratic megadonor “wacky” and “totally unhinged.” Steyer, a California billionaire activist, is launching a $10 million national ad campaign calling for the president’s impeachment. The 60-second TV spot began running last week, according to Forbes. The ad played Friday morning on “Fox & Friends,” likely catching the president’s eye. The ad encourages viewers to sign a petition at Immediately after tweeting about Steyer, Trump thanked Fox News’ morning show for its coverage.

What a shame. I liked him on MSNBC. You never know what behind these faces. Tell me again why there aren’t more women leaders of the world and of large companies?

      • worstcultever

Can’t remember where, but I saw a great “new rule” idea to help cure Weinstein-ism, Ailes-ism, etc – every man who resigns due to sex harassment must be replaced by a woman.

      • bambinoitaliano

Imagine entering work force expecting to be slobber over by undesirable men.

      • The_Wretched

Huh? I found him vapid and smug.

      • JCF

Between Halperin and his “Game Change” co-author, John Heilemann, I much preferred the latter.

  • Rex

Wacky and totally unhinged. Remind you of someone else?

  • SilasMarner

Isn’t that like the skillet calling the kettle black?

  • Rebecca Gardner

Just a distraction to his impending imprisonment. His and Zinke’s. Zinke needs to go to prison over this.

    • zhera

I don’t know, but I should hope that it’s actually illegal for any government entity to enter a contract where they sign away anyone’s right to audit and review.

    • lattebud

Well, glad the CEO of Whitefish’s SSN is now public. That should cause some grief for him.

I followed Tom on twitter. I suspect others did the same.

    Oh look!
    Another very small tiny dot.
    But a dot nonetheless.

  • olandp

Well Dotard, you don’t win elections either.

    they’re coming to get you….ha-ha
    they’re coming to get you….he-he…..

        Worst. Fight-scene. Ever.

        I loved it. 🙂

        • Rebecca Gardner

You have seen “Night of the Living Dead” right? If not you must rectify that this Halloween. It’s a classic piece of cheesy horror.

          • Joe in PA

Ya know, I haven’t. But I think that is an excellent idea!

          • jerry

As you’re living in PA, I thought it was a requirement to watch all of George Romero’s movies. All of them were filmed near Pittsburgh.

          • David Walker

Mostly Swiss cheese, because it does have a few holes in it. But, yeah…definitely worth a watch.

      I’d sign, but I’m foreign.

      Signed on first day.

  • Michael R

    He told the truth
    Tom Steyer never wins elections!
Has he ever run for anything ?

    • jerry

Once again, I doubt the DIC (dotard in chief) even realizes who this person is…probably confuses him with MD Rep. Steny Hoyer.

We need more than the odd our-side billionaire running ads, ffs. WE NEED A BUNCH OF BILLIONAIRES FUNDING AN ANTI-FOX, ANTI-SINCLAIR, 24/7, TOTALLY AGGRESSIVE NETWORK. Sheez, we’re only 30 years behind the fascists, and the nation is in tatters.

I mean, what happens when Sinclair owns absolutely every tv station in the country? Think they’d even run Steyer’s ad?

    • Nic Peterson

You are so right! We need more than a couple deep pockets. And it’s going
to take more than that, I’m afraid to contain the menace of our current media landscape. If your current media carrier is providing content like Fox, CBN, and such as part of a package it’s time to unplug. Purchase only the media that you want. It’s the only way to starve the beast.

  • Reality.Bites

I’m not a billionaire or even a ten-millionaire, but the idea of spending $10 million to piss off Trump seems well worth it.

  • Jack

I am praying for impeachment and removal.

    Can’t hurt.

    • JCF

Pray, petition, protest, VOTE—any or all of the above!

  • Gerry Fisher

It’s so *odd* how everyone who opposes Cheetolini is wacky and unhinged and liddle and ugly. What a *coincidence*!

    • David Walker

Fucking Moron projects better than Bell & Howell ever did.

  • canoebum

I signed his petition yesterday. As I mentioned, he’ll be the new “Soros” the nutjobs will hate.

  • mjsatty

Is he running out of insults; he already used wacky? No stamina for nicknames, sad.

  • Gretchen

Someone should get Trump a thesaurus. I’ll start.

Who would have ever dreamed the President of the United States would spend his days publicly using first grade insults to describe political opponents?

    • whollyfool

    • greenmanTN

      Shit for brains

    • JCF

You just KNOW “Poopy-Pants” is coming…

  • TheManicMechanic

“Make America Great Again agenda” = “Deutschland Über Alles”

  • zhera

Donnie calling someone else ‘totally unhinged’.

  • mikeinftl

Looky, little Donald learned a new word”wacky’ and he has been using it in his excellent tweets.

  • Charlie

If anyone is ‘wacky’ and ‘unhinged’ it’s the childish bully Resident tDump. Really? When is this man-baby going to grow up and take responsibility for his hatefulness? I’m really sick of his infantile tweets. Everything in that commercial is the TRUTH and I love seeing it on all the stations I’ve seen it on.

    • Charlie

And my husband and I have both signed the petition and we posted it on our facebook page for all to see. I’ve been sending it to all my conservative acquaintances too. The letter Tom Steyer drafted addressed to ‘Elected Officials’ goes into much more detail and it’s spot on. Impeachment or resignation sooner rather than later!

    • David Walker

“When is this man-baby going to grow up and take responsibility for his hatefulness?” When there are two blue moons in the same month. When the sun rises in the west. When Pat Robertson apologizes for being the sleazy grifter he is. When the republicans put country ahead of party. When 45 is dead and buried.

  • Lakeview Bob

This jackass is too stupid to realize that he has now given this ad national and international attention. For a man with the best brain he is unbelievably stupid.

    • Uncle Mark

Just as he keeps drawing attention back to the Russia investigations, even when it’s not on the media’s radar at times

  • Thorn Spike

Wacky and unhinged pot, meet kettle.

  • Alexander Stallwitz

Someone is scared… I dont recall Obama calling out the GOP for talking about Impeachment. Of course Obama was never accused of doing impeachable things like Trumpy

  • boobert

I hate that they paid fox to air the ads, but at least the ones that ONLY watch it got a touch of reality.

  • Jean-Marc in Canada
  • andrew

“Wacky & totally unhinged.” That is the perfect introduction for Trump. You nailed it Donnie, you just applied it to the wrong person.

    • trouble94114

This! The lack of self awareness is is epic.

  • Halou

The only way to penetrate Trump’s otherwise impervious bubble is to contact him via Fox. All the more worrying then that one Fox host is invitiing people who call for the execution of Trump’s political opponents, going way beyond ‘merely’ locking them up for the rest of their lives. Trump is sure as hell going to see that, and see that one of his favourite Nazis and former staff member is saying it, and his bestest buddy Hannity is the host.

  • Was Steyer running for office? If not, what was that bit of a sentence.”never wins elections” about?

    • TampaDink

Hair furor was right (for once)…but only because Steyer has never run for public office. (according to his bio)

    • JCF

He’s debating a run for Senate (vs DiFi) or possibly for Governor (CA). He was a major sponsor of two California propositions (one to win, one to oppose), and was *successful* both times. Ergo, Drumpf is blowing smoke out his ass per always.
