BRITAIN: Homocon Busted For Hate Crimes Renounces Past Because Fellow Nazis Mocked His Gayness [VIDEO]

The Washington Post reports:

Kevin Wilshaw first became interested in Nazism as an 11-year-old. His father was “very right wing,” and he wanted to emulate him, he told Channel 4. Since then, the British man’s life has revolved around white supremacy.

Now, after a lifetime devoted to the far-right cause, Wilshaw has renounced his hate-filled past, and revealed that he is gay and has Jewish heritage. He divulged all during an interview with Britain’s Channel 4. “You’re a Nazi, with a Jewish background, who is gay,” said Wilshaw’s interviewer, Paraic O’Brien, evidently baffled by the contradictions.

The Guardian reports:

Wilshaw was arrested this year on suspicion of online race hate offences and was referred to the Prevent deradicalisation programme. Currently on bail, he has admitted to acts of violence and racism including smashing a chair over a man’s head in Leeds and vandalising a mosque in Aylesbury in the early 90s.

Wilshaw said he had decided to quit after receiving abuse from within the far-right movement over his sexuality. “It’s a terribly selfish thing to say but it’s true,” he said. “I saw people being abused, shouted at, spat at in the street. It’s not until it’s directed at you that you suddenly realise what you’re doing is wrong.”

Miller is Sessions’ protégé. Trained at the ankles of the finest haters. He was a Sessions staff member.

This is how I read that comment.

“I was getting lots of “straight” Nazi cock, until they found out who I was and then suddenly I wasn’t….then the whole charade just wasn’t worth it anymore. I tried to undo a lifetime of hate with one interview, and hopefully that will make up for everything evil I’ve done, enough that I can seek the help of the gay community in hiding from my former friends.”

      • Droz

My personal favorite: “I’m Pro-Life, but I really need my secret lover to get an abortion ASAP!”

    • Jeffrey

OMG exactly. Empathy is what normal people have that helps them understand other people’s feelings even when they don’t have the same feelings. I believe something has happened to the empathy of the people of this world. People seem unable to appreciate where someone else is coming from. This asshole is a prime example. You shouldn’t need to be a victim of prejudice to appreciate how awful it would be. Empathy is fundamentally lacking in any conservative thinking and without it there is no salvation of their cause. As for liberals, they often swing so hard in the other direction that they lose their nerve. Most don’t have the stomach for what it takes to beat a conservative in politics today. I don’t know how we fix this deficit.

      • AmeriCanadian

Wow…you definitely nailed it! I’ve seen a general decline of empathy in people too. I wonder if it’s a result of a “me generation” (which spans more than one generation), poor diet and lack of exercise, desensitization caused by an endless stream of violence, or something else. It would be nice to read some studies, if only to get an idea of what’s going on.

        • CanuckDon

It also would be interesting to know if that decline is happening around the world or is more of a symptom in well-developed nations. The pursuit of higher wealth and luxury likely has something to do with it.

        • acde

Include the “desensitization” due to the worship at the alter of technology and belief in every asinine thing that is posted on social media – the more outrageous the more frequently repeated. Social sciences are clear on the large and wide impact of that. At my age [71], I am shocked that people do not speak to each other at all any more – everything is through texting or a machine – talk about”desensitizing” – total avoidance of human interaction / feeling / understanding is what it is.

          • AmeriCanadian

Good point. When I’m out with friends in their 40’s, 50’s and 60′, not one of us is looking at our Smartphones. If I happen to observe a group of teens or twenty somethings, every one of them is glued to their device and not engaged with each other. It is amazing indeed.

    • M Jackson

It would have to be a hate-fuck.

  • shrumpi

The last part of the interview is most telling – his desire for the future is not to help other people who have been victimized by these assholes, but he wants to HURT the assholes. Pathetic…

  • kladinvt

And now he wants to “kumbaya” with everyone? This kind of reminds me of Ken Mehlman when he ‘came out’ after years of ‘gay-baiting’ republiCON-knuckledraggers.

“It’s a terribly selfish thing to say but it’s true,” he said. “I saw people being abused, shouted at, spat at in the street. It’s not until it’s directed at you that you suddenly realise what you’re doing is wrong.”

No, it’s not true. Most people have empathy for other human beings. Nazis somehow don’t.

    • Ken M

In the eyes of a Nazi, “it” isn’t another human being.

  • Goodboy

I kind of can relate with him. He comes from a hate filled family. It’s all he knows. I too grew up hating jews, blacks and any other minority.

My dad was a hate preacher for the Aryan Nations. I too lost my hate when I saw it directed back at me. I could finally relate to others as human beings. It’s a sickness.

    • fkevin

Thank you for sharing your personal experience and insight. We all have to start from somewhere and it’s a bumpy ride. So glad you found out earlier as oppose to very late.

      • Goodboy

Yeah, it was a long road but I too am glad I didn’t waste most of my adult life like this guy.

        • DonnaLee

I’ve noticed it’s also a rural and suburban phenomenon, since my family was the same way in some respects. They never met anyone of a different color, so those people were the scary people taken in by police on TV. Many in my family worked as beauticians, so homosexuals were not bad….cause they met some. Jews were OK, again when they met some. I was one of the few who went to college, so I came home being ‘uppity’ due to going to college.

  • The modern right in a nutshell:

“It’s a terribly selfish thing to say but it’s true,” he said. “I saw people being abused, shouted at, spat at in the street. It’s not until it’s directed at you that you suddenly realise what you’re doing is wrong.”

Zero empathy. He was fine not just with dismissing people he didn’t like but abusing him until that abuse was not only against people like him but him personally. He needs to fuck off. He deserves no one’s sympathy.

    • Ben in Oakland

I’m going to send him a sympathy check just as soon as I can buy some stamps and a pen.

  • Ken M

I’m not even sure why I care about his age. He’s 58 if anyone else cares. Been “interested” for quite a while.

    • CanuckDon

Thanks….I wondered how old he is now. Took him 47 years to get to this turnabout in his life. Crazy.

This is the second time in 2 years our friends were in danger from a shooter. The first time was in the mall where one worked. Shots right in front of her DOS doors. • TuuxKabin

Thank you dahling! Wish we could raise a toast to one another and the rest of us.

I’ve learned to not keep a shot glass of tequila, or vodka at/on the work table where I’ve also been doing collage, to be shown here Halloween.

Some of the technique requires a water color brush to be rinsed in a clear glass of water.

I was ‘coloring’ and ‘rinsing’ the brush in the clear liquid as it gradually turned a pastel blue. Reached for the shot of tequila, took a sip and spit it out. It was water.

So it’s taller glasses of tequila or vodka now.

          • Adam King

It’s misleading when I call it my home town band. I call it that because one of the members grew up in my little town, went to my high school, and his parents had a little store in the one-street downtown, so everyone in town felt proprietary about the band. Small town boy makes it big in the big city, etc.

  • Billy Green

“It’s not until it’s directed at you that you suddenly realise what you’re doing is wrong.” No, sweetie, YOU don’t realize what you’re doing is wrong until someone does the same to you. There are a lot of people in the world who already knew not to treat people in ways that they would not want to be treated in return. For that matter, various religions have been teaching it for years. The Xtian version is “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” You’re just a slow learner, apparently.

  • Is it just me who doesn’t like ‘gayness’?

It’s homosexuality, or sexuality, or gaiety. ‘Gayness’ sound like something idiots would say who don’t know any better.

    • Tor

“Gay” is a special term that not everyone who is homosexual gets to use. Gay means self-acceptance, self-respect, striving for a better life, while finding those same attributes in others.

    • The_Wretched

Are you US? The right wing (usually christians) uses “homosexual” and draws out the vowel sounds. The also intentionally over insert the word into every sentence when discussing LGBTQ issues. They also pointedly avoid ‘gay’ and the acronyms (LGBT, LGBTQ, LGBTI etc, QUILTBAG can die off please).

  • JWC

oh wah Not wise to change horses in mid stream

  • Halou

“It’s not until it’s directed at you that you suddenly realise what you’re doing is wrong.”

Not really. Most people have a trait called ’empathy’, we can understand a person’s predicament even though we don’t experience it ourselves. And when a person is being abused for their race or religion we naturally reject that behaviour for empathy with the victims.

  • LovesIrony

not “you”, good people don’t wait to be abused on before condemning abusing others you fuck.
