Trump Goes Golfing For 73rd Day Since Inauguration

The Hill reports:

President Trump headed to his golf course in Virginia with Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) Sunday morning, according to multiple reports. Trump departed the White House just after 10:00 a.m., according to a reporter traveling with the president. Trump was wearing a white polo and USA hat, the reporter added.

Trump and Paul have had a tense relationship in the past. Trump attacked the senator for voting against the bill to repeal ObamaCare, but the two reunited over Trump’s executive order rescinding parts of ObamaCare last week.

He says, “Doc, you gotta help me, my penis is bright orange and I’m afraid of the worst.”

The doctor examines the penis and it is, indeed, bright orange but the doctor can’t make a diagnosis. He spends the next several hours running every relevant test that he can think of.

At the end of this testing ordeal, the doctor is still stymied. He confronts the young man and says, “Son, I’ve run every test I can think of and all of them indicate that you are healthy as a horse. There must be something we are missing.”

The doctor sits down and says, “Perhaps , it’s not genetic and has to do with your lifestyle. Tell me, do you engage in any dangerous activities.”

“That’s just it, Doc,” says the young man, “I don’t really do anything exciting. Mostly, I just sit at home, surf the Internet and eat Cheetohs.”

Trump is a Nazi. NOTHING he does is perceived as wrong by his base. Absolutely nothing.

Even his extended base by proxy (GOP politicians who might speak out against him) will never admit he is wrong, except for a precious few.

    • Yes. Also watched the original version when it was from the UK. But yeah, the episode where a woman’s successful life is completely unraveled once she’s deemed a terrible person on social media was really damned good.

Hell, they’ve only had a few clunkers, in my opinion. I particularly liked the one where the animated character was elected to be a member of Parliament…and the guy playing him simply replaced once he refused to support the policies of those who promoted his character’s candidacy.

The one from the new series that made me cry though was San Junipero. I mean, wow.

It’s a lot less if you consider alternate math. /s

      • Willys41

Well, in alt-math you just pick the number you want, so it could be less, or ten times as much lol.

    • JAKvirginia

Let us not forget, the first time Rs criticized Obama for “taking time off” was for B taking M to NY one night for dinner and a show because it was their WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!! I mean, how dare they!

      • Willys41

Just more proof that (r)’s have no principles, no morals, no ethics, no respect for the rule of law, no patriotism except to themselves.

Oh how I wish I had a car to put that on!

      • Reality.Bites

I have a car and I can’t imagine putting any kind of sticker on it.

Especially a political one, especially in the United States.

        • m_lp_ql_m

I only have a motorcycle. I don’t DARE put anything on it that would anyway encourage people to drive any more recklessly than they do already.

          • Reality.Bites

Apart from that – and I agree with you 100%, why put anything on your car? Does anyone but you really care how many people are in your family, that you love poodles or how well your kids are doing in school?

        • TampaDink

In the past, I’ve had many cars that I plastered rainbow flags, anti-republican, & pro democrat stickers on. I’ve not put anything on the latest vehicle out of fear of violent trumpet blowers who are heavily armed.

    • Jay George

Running on Impeachment is NOT going to get democrats elected. Focus on improving peoples lives. Once elected then yes proceed.

Under the mores of the 20th century, you have a point.

    • JCF

Am squicked out by first-time-candidate billionaires trying to determine U.S. policy, by EITHER party. If it comes down to him or Feinstein (under California “2 top vote getters” general election rules), I’m voting DiFi. [I don’t think it will come down to that. If it’s DiFi vs Kevin DeLeon, I’ll make my judgment much later. All things being equal, I think California SHOULD elect more Latinos. But things aren’t actually ever equal, of course.]

    • TampaDink

But the evil Obama sent his first born to work with a sexual predator and Bill & Hillary never shied away from hanging out with the same sexual predator!
Whereas the evil dotard has been a sexual predator of his first born daughter and he has never shied away from openly admitting (with cameras rolling) that he enjoys walking into the dressing room of the teen beauty pagent.
Hence, hair furor is has done nothing wrong because…say it with me….

It might actually be best for the country, and for the world, if he spent all his time golfing, or anyway away from the White House. That way at least he wouldn’t be doing harm to all of us, or deliberately precipitating a nuclear war just out of spite and petulance.

    • Natty Enquirer

Give him his phone and his golf club and his clicker and let him play in the corner.

      • red-diaper-baby 1942

        Precisely.

    • I have a feeling that Kelly and the other ‘adults’ in the Administration are encouraging him not to do any Presidenting. Or as little as possible.

      • red-diaper-baby 1942

I was born during FDR’s last term. I’ve lived through Nixon, and Reagan, and Bush Jr. Those were bad enough. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined anything like this.

  • m_lp_ql_m

WTF izzit with golfing? I mean, I hate sportsball in general, but I have no clue how such an un-physical, slow-paced “sport” could be in any way enjoyable, not to mention the atrocious attire one is required to wear while playing.

    • Gianni

I have long wondered the same thing. It always seemed to me that someone (was it in Scotland?) just decided to create the most boring game possible and add those odd clubs, odd rules and terms (par, under par, birdie, etc), do it 18 times over in one game, set all sorts of traps and hindrances, add silly clothing, and you’ve got one hell of a game that will absolutely entrance mostly men. Better yet, they cannot wait to get onto the course and play, play, play.

    • It has historically been a sport only financially available to the very wealthy. Like a large house, expensive luxury cars, and trendy vacations, playing golf is a way to telegraph to others that you have ‘made it’. And like gated communities, for decades golf courses were closed to anyone who wasn’t a lily white WASP.

    • MaryJOGrady

Mark Twain called golf “a nice walk, interrupted.”

  • James

Has any journalist asked him directly why he spends so much time golfing given how frequently he denounced Obama for golfing while president?

    • Gianni

Let me know when you hear someone ask him that in front of a camera.

Honoring the fallen is beneath Trump…
He only like soldiers who survive, obviously.

Kelly didn’t want Trump to say something idiotic to the families.

    • JWC

Why would he be It wasn’t about him and he likes his soldiers alive

    • TampaDink

Has he even mentioned those special ops. casualties in public…or even in a tweet?

      • Lars Littlefield

        No. Nothing.

        • Gianni

Likely, no one slipped the news article under his nose so it never made it into his ‘brain’.

          • TampaDink

Or…they did get the news to him but failed to include his name or pretty pictures so he skipped over it.

          • Gianni

A good possibility. He really only digests news with his name in it.

          • TampaDink

And repeated in each paragraph….at least once.

        • TampaDink

I cannot imagine how much coverage there would be in the national news if Pres. Obama or (should have been) President H. Clinton had ignored these deaths.

          • Ann Kah

On the other hand, I can’t imagine feeling “honored” by Trump’s presence on a sad occasion.

      • bambinoitaliano

There’s no rating value in that.
