GOP Sen. Ben Sasse Vs Sean Hannity, Round 2

Sasse is a tool, but this is fun:

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) fired back at Sean Hannity on Thursday after the Fox News host said he regretted supporting the senator, who has become a vocal critic of President Trump. “Sorry, Sean — you changed, not me. Some of us still believe in the Constitution,” Sasse tweeted.

Hannity criticized Sasse after the latter suggested Trump was in conflict with the First Amendment when he said this week that it is “disgusting the press is able to write whatever it wants to write.” “No president should play with censoring news they dislike,” Sasse tweeted.

All he will do is increase Hammity’s ratings.

        Nom nom nom

  • BobSF_94117

Sasse seems to think GOP pols might be consistent under a President Warren.

He really is dim, isn’t he?

    • olandp

The GOP only functions well as the opposition party. Of course they are completely wrong, but the have no clue how to lead, only throw rocks from the sidelines.

  • JT
  • RNegron

There is the fact that a President Warren would never say anything of the sort.

    • BearEyes

really. that was a completely disingenuous question on Sasse’s part.

      • Chucktech

Remember who the remark was directed to.

I usually grab a towel to wipe off the slug tracks.

I used a guys curtains once, it was a grudge fuck….dont judge.

          • Skokieguy [Larry]

But was it a luxurious towel? Did you throw it at your partner?

    • Tomcat

The one on the left was chickenshit.

      • Adam King

He started it, the big bully.

    • djcoastermark

Please stop posting recaps of last years republican national convention. 🙂

      • Statistics Palin

Must remember to bring a very large salt shaker to the next GOP meeting.

    • ByronK

It’s like watching two dog turds battle it out. Bingo!

    • Macbill

      The horror! The horror!

    • BearEyes

      where’s my salt shaker?

      • WildwoodGuy

Much easier and more effective to use a spray bottle with 2/1 mixture of water/ammonia.

      • JCF

“Before I go to meet my Maker, I want to use the salt left in my shaker.” (Howard Dietz)

    • Fifth-and-a-Half Element

I caught a couple slugs going at it outside my apartment this summer. They don’t clean up after themselves. (Don’t know why the image won’t auto rotate)

      • Adam King

        Nature’s so lovely.

  • greenmanTN
  • netxtown

DUde! Choose your opponents wisely! Sparring with Hammity is like feeding french fries to a magpie.

  • Pip

Hmmm, what I’m taking away from this is that they think Elizabeth Warren has a real shot at taking that office from them.

  • JWC

Sean Hannity u is just a moraless pimp

  • another_steve

After a day of JMG immersion in the wonderful world of Republican politics, I need to take a shower.

  • Henry Auvil

Will Sen. Sasse put his vote where his mouth is when it comes to tax “reform”? Of course not. He’s a Republican.

  • Thorn Spike

Yep, Hannity knows all about useless.

  • justmeeeee

    Moderately fuckable.

  • andrew

More Republican Senators should speak out rationally on all the issues and separate themselves from the extremists who who are in control of their Party. Lets hear from those who know that climate change is not a myth. Lets hear from those who want to work with Democrats to reform Obamacare and not throw millions of Americans off health coverage. Lets hear from those who know that we need sensible gun regulation, etc. No one expects them to come up with the same solutions as the liberal Democrats, but at least come up with reasonable alternatives.

    • Adam King

      Yeah, who?

      • andrew

I don’t know enough of the Republican Senators records to give you a list of those that might be open to discussions and compromises, but when they like McCain, Sasse, Corker, Murkowski and Colins speak out in opposition to the extremist positions of the Trump Administration we will know them. I have heard Democratic Senators speak about the successful collaborations that they have had with Porter and Alexander. They might be a couple more that we could add to this short list.

  • Ninja0980

That’s nice but until you put your words into actions, this means jack.

  • Cuberly Deux

He does the McCain tango. Occasionally switches directions to sound comparatively sane, then he’s right back to the religio-nut-bag woo woo far right agenda pushing.

  • Jean-Marc in Canada

So, we have simp slamming a gimp over a wimp…ok then.

  • LovesIrony

    To the death

    • Jean-Marc in Canada

      Two men enter…..

      That’s it.

      • Skeptical_Inquirer

        Two words. Roach motel.

  • DrRobY

    President Elizabeth Warren, sigh!

  • alguien

a president warren would never call to censor fox news just as president obama never did. it’s certainly time to set some standards, however, as to what actually constitutes news and what falls under the category of simply entertainment.

  • ohbear1957
  • j.martindale

Sasse’s a republican ass, but let’s face it, in this respect, he is completely correct: the presidunt has violated his oath to uphold the Constitution. There is no other way to interpret it. He is unfit for office on the basis of this remark alone.

  • -M-

Recommended for starting with, “Sasse is a tool…”

  • Johnny Wyeknot

A President Elizabeth Warren would know better. Of course.

  • Hryflex

I get home from rehearsal and log on to this thread about Ben Sasse and really only want to see pics of Joshua Sasse. I am such a bad boy. Glad the husbear is already asleep.

  • mark99k

It’s an upsetting trend that I’m forced to agree heartily with someone I would’ve termed a feckless dickwad before 11/8/16.

  • motordog

I was hoping this guy might be a bit ‘okay’ as far as Repubs go, but I looked up some of his other statements…nah, same old divisive, mean-spirited shit…
