Glee Star Mark Salling Pleads Guilty To Child Porn

People Magazine reports:

Actor Mark Salling has struck a plea deal in his child pornography case. The Glee star pleaded guilty Wednesday to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor and will be sentenced to four to seven years in prison, according to court documents.

Federal investigators say they found more than 25,000 images and 600 videos depicting child pornography on computers and thumb drives that belonged to Salling. The content depicted children as young as 3 years old being abused, according to court documents.

Salling, 35, has to register as a sex offender and enter a treatment program; have no verbal or electronic contact with anyone under the age of 18; stay 100 feet away from schools, parks, public swimming pools, youth centers, playgrounds and arcades; and pay $50,000 in restitution to each victim, according to the documents.

Salling played Noah โ€œPuckโ€ Puckerman on the show from 2009-2015. He was reportedly turned in by his now-former girlfriend after she came across some of the images of young girls on his computer.

  • Publius

    Disgusting.

  • bkmn

I hope part of his deal was to help identify other child porn traffickers.

    • That is always part of the deal — ratting on the others.
In some cases I would find that odious, but not for kiddie porn.

  • TJay229

    Damn.

  • JWC

Disgusting but its been brought to justice Hope he learns from this

  • Ken M

Good that he was caught, and sentenced. One more example of how celebrities rule our media. If his name was John Smith, no one would bother finishing the story. of course there wouldn’t have been an article.

  • TampaDink

$50,000 per each kid in each image?

    • JWC

      are you getting messages???

      • TampaDink

Nope. Still no idea why. May be just as well for the time being, things may be about to get very hectic here as we just got an offer on the house & have submitted a counter offer.

        • PickyPecker

Good luck!! Hope you get your price.

          • TampaDink

I would have liked to have waited for our original (highly inflated) price but after being on the market (as an overpriced tear down) for 2.5 yrs. we are ready to get on with it. Correction, we are mentally ready to get on with it. We have done very little to get physically ready. The offer that came in yesterday was 12 grand below our recently reduced price but he also wanted to close in TEN days.

          • PickyPecker

Ten…yeow. That’d mean you’d really have to hustle to get out fast enough, yes?

          • TampaDink

The only way that could happen would be if we are able to pull of the kind of maneuver that seems to happen on house flipping shows, where we take what we want & leave the rest. After living in this house for almost 23 yrs., there is a lot of stuff that needs to go to the landfill. Even goodwill would reject 99% of our accumulated furniture & misc.

          • PickyPecker

Gah. Trying to remember the name of the company that advertises on TV all the time. They’ll come and take anything away you want. Might make your tasks a bit easier if the buyer insists on a total cleanout. I’ll try to remember the name…..not sure what they do with the stuff, but get the feeling they repurpose and resell when possible.

          • TampaDink

Hippo? So little of what we won’t be taking is reusable…we’ve got a lot of cast off furniture & some family hand me downs.

          • PickyPecker

This place takes anything, junk or not….at least that’s what they advertise.

          • TampaDink

Hmmm. I hope that you remember their name.

          • PickyPecker

This might be the one….will do a bit more digging and ask the hubster if he remembers for sure. Worth checking out if you’re up against the wall.

I’ve recently been looking at a house…I’ve been renting a 2BR house for the past 10 years. The new one was, in recent years, a funeral home. Original Victorian part, with gorgeous woodwork and a couple stained glass windows, was built in 1860s, and completely restored around 1980. Then when it became a funeral home, a chapel/viewing room was added on the back that could hold 150 people…which would be one hell of a rec room.

But I really hate the thought of moving again.

          • TampaDink

I’d have no problem living in a former funeral home….since I worked in one while I was in college….and my boss & his family lived above the business. We are looking to downsize & besides, the idea of buying a historic home doesn’t compute with our budget.

          • jerry

No, I wouldn’t have a problem either…a friend of mine first opened it as a funeral home, but he later sold out to a larger company. They recently got in trouble for not properly funding the pre-paid trust accounts, so they’re out of business. They’re only asking $119,000 for it, but the utilities would be hell. I would be looking into solar panels.

And even though it’s only a few blocks away, the thought of moving makes me weary. And I would be entertaining guests more.

          • William

I lived in a former funeral home in Minnesota. A friend made a nice ‘Welcome to the Mortuary’ sign for the front door.

It must have been a low volume business, judging by the size of the house. It was a pretty cool old Victorian that had suffered through an uninspired modernization after being turned back into a house.

Nobody could tell me why one section of the cellar had been walled off and filled in.

          • djcoastermark

Yeah, I was shocked at how fast closings on homes are around here. It goes really quick.

          • TampaDink

We cannot fathom getting organized, packed up & also physically shopping for a new house up in Tally in less than a month.

          • William

Goodness! When my parent’s house sold last year, the buyers insisted on three months before closing.

        • JWC

Oh that is good news Understandly you will be busy Congrats

          • TampaDink

Congrats may be premature….we just sent off the counter offer. If it is rejected we’re back at square one…..but should get our butts in gear on purging closets etc.

          • djcoastermark

Huh, my closets purge themselves every time I open the closet doors. Might they be a bit too full?

          • TampaDink

That hasn’t happened here for years….ever since we threw away the closet doors that were falling apart.

I’ve been in AA for most of my life. They did have SA at one time. I’m not sure if it caught on though. Sex Addicts Anonymous.

  • Joe in PA

Horrible. I don’t even know how you can get 25,000 images of any kind of porn. And why? And how is he going to pay $50K to each victim, did he take the pictures? Do they know everyone in the pics? What a fucking mess.

So, if the plea deal was for 4-7 years in prison, I wonder what he was facing before he took the plea deal?

    • Ninja0980

      Life most likely.

      • Joe in PA

Wow, so this sucks, and seems like a slap on the wrist. If they had the guy…I wonder what the risk was? Hmmm.

    • Helen Damnationโ„ข

Paying $50k to each victim is impossible, considering the volume of images, which were probably downloaded in huge folders. Not plausible that anyone would be successful at finding each victim. More of a “spirit” of the sentence, as opposed to actual law.

      • clay

The investigators are building databases of the images. Most of the kids are unidentifiable, but more are becoming known, and the cases are “refreshed”– each time a new identity is discovered, the fines grow.

Murphy seems to have a “thing” for that. One could theorize it was an attempt to make the cast members look more like high school students, but in that case why do it to Matthew Morrison too? Considering he was about 3 years older than the oldest “students,” they should have let him keep it.

‘Couldn’t agree more! What is the attraction of children, when there are adults like this?

          • vorpal ๐Ÿ˜ผ

I agree totally and my tastes run in general to older men (30+ minimum please, preferably 45+), but I actually have a lot of sadness for pedophiles that do NOT exploit or harm children or share pictures of children being exploited or harmed. It must be horrible to go through life having to constantly resist your sexual urges.

This is why when countries ban things like drawings of pedophile acts, it makes my fur bristle: I and most people find such things profoundly distasteful, but at least it allows pedophiles to manage their sexual urges in a way that doesn’t actually harm children.

          • another_steve

Imo there’s no sexual fantasy or urge that is “wrong” or “evil.” Absolutely none. No one should be condemned in any manner or form for having this or that sexual fantasy, attraction or lust. No one and in no circumstance.

What is wrong and should be condemned and made illegal is any sexual act that isn’t 100 percent consensual on the part of all participants.

Porn or sexual acts involving people below a certain age is wrong because those people aren’t capable of giving informed consent. Be it sexual acts or merely posing for sexually-explicit photos.

Sexual acts or picture-taking of persons who aren’t 100 percent consenting or capable of consent constitute rape. The person in question may be age 10 or age 80.

Acts may be wrong. Thoughts or fantasies are never wrong.

            Imo.

          • vorpal ๐Ÿ˜ผ

Ha! You should watch this. It amuses me, and, “Later, I’m going to masturbate and I’m going to think of you, and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it!” is a line I want to use at some point in my life.

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jY3FiaK4GG4

You’ll hear no argument from me regarding consent. Children and animals are off-limits because they cannot legally, maturely, and responsibly consent. It’s hard to draw a firm age for anything given differences in maturity levels from one person to the next, but we do the best we can and let people accept the consequences of their actions – even if they are not ready for them despite thinking they are – after a certain age.

Taking pictures of people – especially in compromising positions – without their permission is just gross. I’m reminded of that evil hideous Playboy bunny Dani Mathers, and glad that they made an example of her. Her actions were especially odious and offensive to me because she was shaming someone who was going to the gym to better her health and appearance. What a complete piece of shit she is. Maybe she can be Trump’s next wife when Melania gets put out to pasture.

          • BudClark

The late Larry Townsend (memory eternal!) once wrote something to the effect that it was OK to write about or fantasize about things you couldn’t / wouldn’t / would never do. I seem to remember that was in the context of a “snuff” story he included in one of his “leather workbooks.”

It DISTURBS me that in the U.S., one cannot initiate a RATIONAL discussion about paedophilia without be labeled a paedophile. I don’t know if it was on here, or elsewhere, that an article was posted about Germany’s approach, which seemed to work.

          • another_steve

What I find disturbing and ironic, BC, is the buy-in on the part of some who are vehemently anti-religion to one of institutional religion’s basic tenets: that young people are mindless chattel, incapable of acting in their own best interests and deciding what’s best for them. (Interesting to note that much of institutional religion says the same of women.)

I hope and trust I’m not the only person reading here who finds that buy-in deeply deeply ironic and disturbing.

          • vorpal ๐Ÿ˜ผ

I think that it’s a matter of caution with young people.

When I had just turned 19 and had my first boyfriend (26), I was still NOT ready for that experience despite thinking I was, and while it was extremely difficult, he was very kind, understanding, patient, compassionate, and gentle. I shudder to think of how badly it could have gone if he wasn’t.

Some young people are emotionally and mentally mature, but many overestimate their maturity, which is why we do what we can to protect them from the consequences of poor decisions, both personal and involving other people, and it is easy for a mature and manipulative adult to take advantage of their innocence and misconceptions of their maturity level when it comes to sex and relationships.

That being said, it is no secret here that I am kitty who freaking loves his “catnip” of various types, and throughout my adult life, have overestimated my ability to handle my catnips and made a number of mistakes that could have been dangerous, or at the very least, traumatizing, and yet I don’t consider those decisions as valid arguments for the criminalization of drugs.

          • vorpal ๐Ÿ˜ผ

Oh, absolutely! I fantasize about all sorts of things that I would never DREAM of doing: activities that are hot in theory, but I know that if I actually was faced with the possibility of doing them, I would not be interested.

Fantasies are lovely. Everything works out exactly as you want and feels just as you want it to.

You mention Germany: Japan similarly is more open to discussing pedophilia, and I believe that depictions of it are openly permitted and not frowned upon.

Americans have trouble discussing politics rationally, so it’s not really surprising that something as off-putting as pedophilia cannot be addressed without people freaking out at the mere mention of it.

I hate that any time the subject comes up and I don’t recoil in sheer horror, even when I preface my points with dozens of disclaimers to make it crystal clear that I have never in my entire life have entertained even a hint of a pedophile idea and have nothing but contempt for active pedophiles, am knee-jerk thought of as one simply because I don’t bark and scream like a rabid dog.

I also have a lot of sympathy for Jeffrey Dahmer for many reasons after having read a lot about his life. I have MORE sympathy for his victims and their families, but that doesn’t preclude me for having sympathy for him, and it doesn’t make me a serial killer, nor does it make me someone who approves of murder.

He reminds me of a very hot guy named Sebastian that I had a crush on way back when I was a young kitten taking lifeguarding classes.

Ha… that’s actually what made me realize that I love the name Sebastian and change my first name to that at the age of 21. (I always despised my birth name but before Sebastian popped into my head, I could never think of an alternative name that I liked enough to commit to for life.)

And I got to reply with:
            “Thanks! I picked it myself!”

It seems kind of weird to me that our parents pick our names for us. Ha… mine weren’t thrilled when I changed it, and they still call me by my birth name, but are at least trained well enough to introduce me as Sebastian, which has made for some very confused people!

Ha! The first four letters of that last name were my original name.

My relationship with my mother has been mostly happy (and profoundly interesting) with some exceptions. I’ll take the charming and attractive (maybe), and while I like my alcohol plenty, I prefer to numb myself with arylcyclohexylamine dissociatives.

Now, bring on Charles, please! We’ll see if he can’t beat out my desires for ketamine, PCE, and PCP.

“Sebastian” is a great name. Kudos for choosing it, vorpal.

And why no mention in this thread of the fabulously talented, oh-so-adorable and openly gay Chris Colfer?

Is he not a fine specimen of manhood?

          https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/88d59b874cee6e34e42859745aee62d94e9193aa17ab5f0e34e50f0269e7a231.jpg

          • vorpal ๐Ÿ˜ผ

Chris Colfer isn’t my type. It’s not because he’s not traditionally masculine: that doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Indeed, I despise when some guys break out the whole deprecating, “I’m not into ‘femmy’ guys,” bullshit. I’ve dated guys from traditionally masculine to not at all traditionally masculine, and the latter often were the most sensual, passionate, and dedicated lovers and partners that I have had. (And I am a hell of a challenge to put up with!)

This image makes me smile and speaks volumes about many of the whiny, shallow men in the gay community:
            https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2eb284342fbb976f7e02faff88520be3f9aab88d9485803f31664dd8d034b357.jpg

There’s just something about Colfer that I can’t put my finger on that I don’t like. When his character and Rachel Berry graduated and went away, I thought finally the show would be rid of them, as I despised them both. When I found out the next season that the story was going to continue to follow them, I said, “NOPE! NOPE! DONE!” and promptly dropped Glee from my viewing schedule.

(Don’t look to me for any kind of discernment in TV viewing, though. My favourite TV show after Game of Thrones is the People’s Court. If kitty doesn’t get his daily fix of that awesome Judge Marilyn Milian, kitty is cranky.)

          • SoCalGal20

Awww no! Rachel drove me up the wall but I did like Kurt lol.

          • vorpal ๐Ÿ˜ผ

Now that I remember better, Kurt was… okay. He was endearing and innocent, and his relationships with Blaine and his dad were SO sweet.

Hard to overlook the fact that he liked Rachel. I despised her, and I think their friendship ruined it for me.

          • another_steve

Lol. Love to you for your honesty, my friend. ๐Ÿ˜‰

For me, Colfer is one of those incredibly multi-gifted and multi-talented young men. Another one of those, Neil Patrick Harris, immediately comes to mind, but there are many others. While on the subject of “Glee” – Darren Criss also.

They sing. They dance. They act (both drama and comedy). They’re politically and socially aware.

            And if that’s not enough… they’re gorgeous!

          • vorpal ๐Ÿ˜ผ

Honesty and fun, open communication is one of the reasons I really value our interactions on here! Due to the massive number of JMGers, only a good handful have made a real impression on me, and of course, you are one of that handful (in the best way possible), dear amigo!

I absolutely agree that Colfer is incredibly talented and gifted. That being said, I also think that Danny Devito is wonderfully talented and gifted and when I had a sexual dream about him (it was a doozy of one I may have told you about before), I was so horrified – and ever so slightly amused – that there isn’t enough brain bleach.

Neil Patrick Harris is lovely. Not my type, either, although I think he’s very attractive on the whole: I just don’t want to have sex with him. (His nose is just a bit too small. I could overlook a small penis before I could overlook a small nose!)

Now, I appreciate those who can sing and dance, but give me a mathematician or scientist any day! My cosmologist secret boyfriend is the gorgeous and utterly brilliant (and sadly heterosexual) Sean Carroll. My husband will hear my moaning and whimpering as I watch a Sean Carroll talk and hear me mentioning how I just want nothing more than to masturbate on Sean Carroll’s super sexy bald spot on the back of his head and say, “Why don’t =I= get that reaction out of you?!”

“Come up with models of time that negate the legitimacy of the Kalaam Cosmological Argument and talk to me about SUSY, SO groups, and C* algebras and you will, dear.”

LOOK AT THIS MAN! Behold his beauty and brilliance!
            https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/285365adc5b49c22910f7caca5567484835d3d2916fdfbb32c2edc211176b013.jpg

Now, if you’ll excuse me, my erection and I need a moment.

          • another_steve

Brains turn me on too, as long as they’re not “snobby/aloof brains” – brainy guys who lack the full range of emotionality. Being culturally Jewish, I demand that my men be emotional hysterics (just as I am).

I’ve always been attracted to Italian men for that reason.

            Italians are emotional hysterics.

          • vorpal ๐Ÿ˜ผ

I should also add that I like guys with a bit of chunk to them. I’d rather have a slightly chunky, cute, dorky, geektastic guy over a muscular, traditionally handsome guy any day of the week! Toned is okay, but very muscular is a huge turn off for me. Every time I see a “classically handsome” guy, I am like, “Meh. Would never notice him in a crowd.”

Oh, I also love love LOVE big noses. If a guy has a small, angular nose, I am instantly turned off. Also, earlobes: they must be existent and preferably separated from the face (i.e. dangling), although that is not the end of the world.

Weird things you learn about yourself and your tastes as life goes on.

          • JCF

After discovering this, my church accompanist and I worked up this arrangement of Being Alive, and I sung it (to some acclaim). I don’t quite have Chris’s range (at the lower end—that’s what having a second X chromosome gets me!), but close enough:

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZaGcRjEssE

          • another_steve

Thanks for posting that, JCF. That’s my favorite piece from “Company.” Extraordinarily rich and complex. Not an easy piece to sing or to play.

            Colfer’s version is lovely.

          • JCF

I need to give props to NPH’s version (which I heard via PBS’s staged broadcast of “Company”). That’s what inspired me to sing the song. But Colfer’s arrangement here was really right up my (vocal) alley!

          • Joseph Miceli

No thanks. Too whiney and too bitchy. As to his less than “traditionally masculine” behavior…yes, it IS a turn off for me. The fact of the matter is that my dick doesn’t get hard for men like Chris. I like them. I just have no desire to fuck them. I’m afraid my libido doesn’t operate on political correctness.

          • another_steve

Lol. Actually, my understanding of gay male political correctness in 2017 is that delicate and fem guys are not considered sexually desirable and that to say they are is somehow an embarrassing admission or confession. Your view on this, Joseph, is perfectly in sync with that of many many gay and bi guys.

            It’s all good.

Whatever turns us on is all good.

          • Joseph Miceli

I HATE when sloppy thinking equates sexual attraction with body shaming and bullying, that’s all. I treat my female friends that I don’t find attractive as equals, so suddenly I’m a oppressing someone because I won’t sleep with them because I feel no attraction and because it is a gay male I’m a terrible person ? We have no control over our conscious erotic triggers .

          • another_steve

I think we’re agreeing on the essential point, Joseph.

I sometimes get in trouble on this blog for not being “correct” with respect to my stated sexual desires and lusts. My finding a Republican scumbag like Jared Kushner sexually enticing, for example, has turned some against me.

            Fuck them, I say.

ALL sexual desire, ALL sexual lust is good.

          • Reality.Bites

Um, you do realize that Kurt Hummel is a character and Chris Colfer is an actor who is neither whiny nor bitchy.

          • Joseph Miceli

Um…yes, oh patronizing one … I have a firm grasp of reality and in my opinion in real life he is everything I wrote he was. Now if you’ll excuse me my husband Chris Hemsworth and I are going to the movies .

  • Akrontru

I agree with damn near all of the condemnations here, but I want to know what happened in this guy’s youth to make him this way. I understand that it is incurable, and only possibly controlled–See Priest. Just fucking sad.

    • ultragreen

I don’t think anyone knows for certain. There could be genetic factors involved, or it may involve his upbringing, or it could be the result of accidental classical conditioning (how some odd sexual fetishes develop). There is some evidence that people who are sexually abused as children, are more likely to sexually abuse children when they become adults, although this is not quite the same thing as possession of child pornography.

      • Helen Damnationโ„ข

Children can become hypersexualized for different reasons, it is believed. Many can’t discern love from sex; for some it represents, to them, the same thing. Many “Rad” kids (reactive-attachment disorder) face a lifetime of challenges and treatment.

    • melllt

What. Possibly controlled? See priest? News flash, priests are fairly well known child molesters.
And plenty of us had shitty childhoods, but i aint molesting or beating anyone.

I used to find one inch by one inch low resolution pictures in the temp file on my computer. After looking at one for a while, I realized it was a ‘beaver shot’. I hadn’t visited any site like that with the computer, they must have come in on cookies or something.

Don’t try to learn. Several years ago Pete Townsend of the Who was doing “independent research” on his next social charity and got caught in a sting. If you want to help the kids, get your background clearances filed and find an official method.

        • William

I thought Townsend actually did belong to an organization trying to protect children.

          • clay

He was a contributor, not a volunteer. And that’s part of what saved him when it went to the judge.

    • Reality.Bites

Well it’s not as if he was busy working.

  • Ragnar Lothbrok

I can see not being a biggie between thinking a 17 year old is hopefully 18, but a fucking 3 Yr old ?!?!?

    • Ken M

I’m not even sure if there is a difference legally. If the child is legally a child, under 16, I think the rules, and breaking them is the same. All they mention are pictures. At least he never acted on his urges, or so we’re led to believe.

      • Tatonka

Some states (including I believe Texas) have a different category of crimes against children under a threshold age of maybe 10 or 12. Not to minimize the seriousness of crimes against older teens, but I think that taking advantage of the helplessness of young children is a legitimate aggravating factor.

        • Ken M

As I said, I wasn’t sure. I honestly hope there would be a difference.

        • Strepsi

“Romeo and Juliet laws apply to cases of statutory rape when both members engaging in consensual sexual intercourse are teenage (13-19). Romeo and Juliet laws generally stipulate a certain age gap between the older alleged offender and the younger alleged victim.”

In other words, a 19 year old and a 16 year old consensual, is NOT the same as a 13 year old and a 45 year old.

      • Yes, but there are 16 year olds that could pass for 20 and 20 year olds who look like they are 14. There is some plausible deniablity there and the fault would lie with the person who created the images. Now that might not be a legal argument, I don’t know. But a three year old? That means he knew what he was looking at.

        • Reality.Bites

Well legal, professional pornography has that FBI proof of age on file statement beforehand, even when not filmed in the US.

More importantly though, you don’t stumble upon child pornography by accident, even if you like porn of the “barely legal” variety. It’s not sitting out there on an easy google search.

    • William

Many years ago, I had a muscular guy with a hairy chest come on to me. Then I found out he was 15. I was out of there faster than anything.

Many years ago I worked for a company that employed people of all ages.

One of the employees got married and invited several people from work. Two of them hooked up. One, a woman in her mid-thirties. The other, a boy of fifteen.

In her defense, I knew this kid and he was over 6-feet tall, hairy chest, really deep voice and starting to go bald. There’s no way she’d have thought he was younger than his early 20s (and the age of consent at the time in Canada was 14 anyway).

      • Phil2u

I had a kid in an eighth grade class like that. I said wtf is this college freshman doing in my class? I checked his records, and he was just 15; he had repeated just one grade due to medical issues. He made swim team and the coach, a woman, asked him to shave his body hair.

One is set to star in Versace and has starred in Hedwig and How to Succeed in Business on Broadway – Darren Criss.

One works steadily in TV as an Asian romantic lead – Harry Shum, Jr. Something few Asian actors have accomplished.

One is Supergirl while another is the Flash – Melissa Benoit and Grant Gustin.

Puberty hit me with a sledgehammer between 14 & 15. I was the preditor. I had sex with several 18 yo seniors. They were athletes and heavily closeted and/or seriously experimenting. My parents were part of a large social circle, most with kids in the 15 to 25 year range. I had sex with many on the 25 yo side. And this was when I was 15 or 16! I was never coerced. I was the instagator. This was 40 years ago when things were more entre nous. Today, most of my “prey” would be condemned enphebophiles, bound for jail. “You can’t rape the willing.”

    • SDG

Is there someone here who is a mental health expert, I would love an answer to this question:

Currently, with all of the media attention given to this subject. A person who has this predilection, is fully aware of the legal and societal consequences of his (usually guys, I think, but not always) actions. Why would someone choose NOT to get help? Or are there many people out there who do choose to get help, and we only hear of these cases, because they reach the media, and are “sensational”. I am very curious.

    • Jason Geiger-Bremer

In many states, a health care professional must report the individual who discloses to the authorities- even if they have done nothing wrong. This causes many of these people, as I understand it, to not try and get help.

In addition, there is no help. Not really.

Changing someone’s sexual desires is well nigh impossible.

Having said that, most of us here grew up in a pre-porn society and we found legal alternatives in underwear ads, gladiator movies, etc. Similar options are open to anyone who is aroused by minors and carry no inherent legal risk.

Thanks for answering my question. Wow, of course. So the system is out to get them, no matter what. It’s sad, these people need help.

It’s a disease, with ramifications that are so destructive. Sad.
