Trump Laughably Claims Locked Arms Protests By NFL Players Show “Great Solidarity For Our Country”

President Trump responded to the show of solidarity put on by the NFL on Sunday against his recent attacks on the league, saying that standing with locked arms is better than kneeling. The president’s tweets come after NFL players locked arms and kneeled in response to his attack on players in the league over the weekend.

Trump’s tweets Sunday come after Trump said at a rally last week in Alabama that players who kneel during the national anthem to protest racial injustice should be fired. “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b—- off the field right now,'” Trump said, adding “He is fired!”

Trump’s totally not-racist fans are responded to this latest tweet with racist memes. Because Jesus, probably.
