AL.com reports:
The president is making his first trip to Alabama since taking office in January to headline the campaign rally for Sen. Luther Strange. But the early birds in line to get the best seats for the rally said they were there to see Trump, not Strange.
Waylon Turner of Scottsboro said he was the first in line at the Von Braun Center, arriving at 3:30 a.m. Turner wore a Trump flag as a cape around his Trump t-shirt while sporting a red Make America Great Again cap. “I’m just excited about what he’s trying to do for the country,” Turner said of Trump. “I feel he is trying to do something good for America.”
