Pharma Douche Jailed Over Threat Against Hillary

The New York Daily News reports:

Martin Shkreli got socked into jail Wednesday when a federal judge delivered a poetic punchline to the Pharma Bro’s own Hillary Clinton jokes.

Brooklyn Federal Judge Kiyo Matsumoto revoked Shkreli’s $5 million bail Wednesday evening, saying Shkreli’s $5,000 bounty on Clinton’s hair was the final straw.

Shkreli was convicted in August on securities fraud and conspiracy to commit securities fraud. He’ll now have to fight the case on the inside. Prosecutors pointed to the posts as Shkreli becoming more and more of a threat to the community after his split verdict.

From the Washington Post:

While awaiting sentencing, Shkreli has harassed women online, prosecutors argued, and even offered his Facebook followers $5,000 to grab a strand of Hillary Clinton’s hair during her book tour.

“He does not need to apologize to me. He should have apologized to the government, the Secret Service, and Hillary Clinton,” said U.S. District Judge Kiyo Matsumoto, in revoking his bond.

“This is a solicitation of assault. That is not protected by the First Amendment.” Shkreli was taken into custody immediately after the hour-long hearing. He did not visibly react though he appeared more nervous than when he entered court.

Shkreli faces up to 20 years in prison and he’ll now be cooling his heels at Rikers until his sentencing.

What you clearly need is one of those veterinarians that artificially inseminate young heifers. They get their arms into her anus up to their armpits, and somehow position her hoo-hoo for the action and then put a two foot long tube into her vag and squeeze the joy juice into her. This is what the Pharma Douche deserves. You just know he’s hiding something and you really gotta go the complete intestinal reveal. Absolutely, positively no doubt at all.

        • Paula

Using one of these. Just have to make sure there is an electric outlet handy.

LOL, that looks like Saturday entertainment in 1960’s U.P. of Michigan where there was nothing to do but watch the bears at the Dump. Tourists renting the many cottages would bring their kids because the one movie theater in town was showing something they saw last year and the rare TV in a rental was very old and had terrible reception.

The bears came to the city dump at night and on the weekends when there were no workers, they were used to the audience.

They’ll also keep him on suicide watch, at least at first.

          • Rebecca Gardner

Which means really uncomfortable everything. Suicide suit, no bedding. Nothing that can be made into a noose, or sharpened into a stabbing weapon. That’s a total suck fest I hope to never experience in my life.

I was arrested once in my life. I was young and stupid and had to grow up fast. I am also very intelligent. That experience scared me to death, almost literally, and I will never ever get in trouble again. I was a complete emotional basket case. When I got out the next day I was crying like a baby to my Detective Investigator Dad. He simply told me to take a deep breath, deal with it, and never be so fucking stupid again. I stopped crying, I took that deep breath, I got the best lawyer I could find, and I dealt with it.

What I experienced was the worst of the worst of the worst of the worst of the worst. Yet, it is only about 0.0000001% of what Pharma Douche is going to have to deal with. Yeah, he’ll probably be on suicide watch.

          • Dreaming Vertebrate

          • Rebecca Gardner

That’s the understatement of the millennia. LOL! You get cuffs put on you, thrown in the back of a police car, that’s the easy part. It’s when they get you back to the station that you realize you’ve just entered the 7th level of Hell and it’s all your fault because you’re a fucking young, foolish, idiot that actually should have known better.

Fortunately for me, all i needed was the one experience. Goodness it was so long ago but right now i can still feel the cuffs, the shame, and the unbearable fear while sitting in the back of that police car.

Yeah, i learned a valuable lesson and it will never happen again that’s for fucking sure.

Oh, and don’t be sorry I went through that. I am very thankful I went through that. VERY THANKFUL. It straightened my ass out and had me fly right. They call it the Department of Corrections for a reason. To correct your behavior. Well, don’t need to tell me twice.

          • Ginger Snap

The baby girl name Kiyo is pronounced as KIY-Yow †. Kiyo’s origin, as well as its use, is in the Japanese language.
Kiyo is of the meaning pristine.

I agree. I just don’t want him to find any enjoyment in it.

Just goes to show you how important regular strong orgasms are to good health. Both male and female.

    • No, I do not. Prison rape is abominable. It is barbaric. That it is tolerated in many of America’s prisons is yet more evidence just how depraved this country is, and it’s even worse when people who purport to be progressive and/or liberal advocate for it to happen.

I’d much rather imagine Shkreli in protective custody, alone in a cell 23 hours a day.

      • grada3784

There are lots of HIV+ guys in the prison system. Even in Punk City, he’ll find life a real hell.

      • TheManicMechanic

For him, that would be cruel punishment, since he’s used to living his life in a spotlight and surrounding himself with sycophants and similar despicable individuals, surrounded with the spoils of his ill-gotten success.

        I’d take that scenario too.

      • Cuberly

    • another_steve

I’ve met many an activist nun through my husband – who’s involved in progressive activist Catholic circles.

Take it from this here Jew boy: You do NOT mess with a progressive activist Catholic nun.

      No no no.

      • JCF

Generally speaking, the full habit suggests NOT a “progressive activist Catholic nun” (I’m sure there are exceptions).

        • another_steve

Interesting observation, JCF. You might be right regarding most nuns in full regalia.

My man and I occasionally attend social and political functions at which power nuns are present. Most of them are in layperson clothing but some seem to prefer semi-nun garb.

Subtle yet stylish. Pleasing to the gay eye.

That rose is probably ‘Peace’ with the image file saturation cranked up.

‘Peace’ was introduced to the world in 1945. iirc, at a UN conference in San Francisco devoted to that very subject.

When first introduced, it was considered to be a hundred-petal cultivar, but if you buy ‘Peace’ today you’ll be lucky if every flower has twenty petals. Cryptic viral infections would be the cause, but it’s slightly odd that no one (at least, no one to my knowledge!) has run it through tissue culture to clean the viruses up and restore ‘Peace’ to something more like its original self.

I know where there is (or used to be) a specimen of ‘Peace’ planted a long time ago, and it is(was?) more or less a hundred-petal affair.

To touch on what some others said below, I do agree that he does seem to show some signs of autism with his mannerisms.
But as someone who has a cousin with autism and has a sister who works with special ed students, I can tell you that excuse will only get him so far.
He is clearly not a stupid person at all and autism doesn’t make you brag about jacking up prices on various drugs just because you can while knowing most people can’t afford those prices, threaten women online or do what he did to get his bail revoked.
Those are the actions of someone who enjoys causing misery and pain to others and the attention it brings you while thinking you will never suffer consequences for it.
Glad to see that for once, someone like him is being made to pay for it.

I go through a sort of daily surreal routine, watching Donald Trump – a criminal sexual predator collaborator with America’s premier sworn enemy – on TV and thinking to myself, “A few more electoral college votes and that could have been Hillary Clinton.”

Mentioned this before but no one should be shocked Republicans are doing this, especially since they did this with W too.
Democrats were fools for bringing the blue slip back and letting Republicans abuse it, they truly were.

      Americans are political chlidren.

      • Phillip in L.A.

The Americans of 1776 did not seem to be political children, though, so we seem to have regressed at some point!

        They’re shameless COWARDS.

I’m not going to list all of his OUTRAGES yet AGAIN for the HUNDREDTH time–the list is ENORMOUS! (Repeated obstruction of justice ALONE is enough to demand his immediate removal from power!)

The press still treat a PROVEN pathological LIAR, who makes EXCUSES for NAZIS, with RESPECT!!

It’s beyond DISGUSTING–it is a symptom of TOXIC decline, of moral ROT!!

        • safari

An issue is that numbers are needed for any one event. For example, the press reported that there were protesters at the Kid Rock event last night. From a friend close to the protesters, yes they were there… but the police stopped them from doing anything meaningful. Organization is needed to send a message.

          • billbear1961

We can’t rely on the corporate press, and we have NO leadership–the Democratic party is PATHETIC!

Imagine a Democratic administration manifesting even one-TENTH this level of blatant corruption, of contempt for the rule of law–the Republicans AND the press would be shrieking for BLOOD!!

          • safari

The Occupy movement organized quite well until the FBI broke them up. The youth can do it.

          • billbear1961

They got off to a good start and then were all over the map, utterly disorganized, with no clear goals, trying to shut down ports, or something equally BONKERS, at one point.

The FBI can’t break up a MASSIVE and determined movement led by an organized opposition party that has LEGITIMATE charges to lay against the government, not unless this country has become a POLICE state, they can’t!

We are, however, on the road to that sorry state–the chances to STOP this regime are slipping away.

Mueller and the entire Establishment must SEE that WE mean BUSINESS, that we WILL defend the RULE of LAW against treason and FASCISM!!

They were frightened when they saw the Women’s March–now they LAUGH AT US!!

Demonstrations must be massive and RELENTLESS!

Economic measures must be taken, too: reducing purchases to nothing but absolute essentials. A General Strike can’t be ruled out.

We FIGHT, or this Republic is LOST!!

The fascists are consolidating power–the only thing they don’t control fully are the COURTS, but we’re LETTING them stack the courts with their HENCHMEN.

We will fight for NOTHING!! The election process is NOT secure! We let them steal the election in 2016–we’ll let them do the same, again and again, because we are COWARDS!!

Democracy is slipping away, and the only thing people do is pray to MUELLER!!

            It’s PATHETIC!!

        • Phillip in L.A.

  • Phillip in L.A.

I wonder if District Judge Matsumoto filed a written order revoking bail, or do they do that by Minute Order, in E.D.N.Y.? Anyone know?

    • Reality.Bites

Would one way over another make a difference in what happens to the Douche himself, or is it just procedural?

      • Phillip in L.A.

No, it would make no difference at all–just procedure

[Edit: Assuming everything was done in ship-shape Bristol fashion.]

        • Reality.Bites

So you’re absolutely sure one way wouldn’t involve attempting to get his scrotum in a prescription pill bottle with a child-proof lid?

          • Phillip in L.A.

No, but that is probably similar to what is happening to Mr Shkreli right now, as we speak.

      • Phillip in L.A.

Having actually read District Judge Matsumoto’s “Order of Detention,” in U.S. v. Shkreli, et al., No. 15-cr-637 (09/13/2017 E.D.N.Y.), I have a few LEGAL(*) reservations about the propriety of her act; but I will not air them here.

Furthermore, I have not read the transcript of the hearing, which might shed more light on Judge Matsumoto’s action; also, the procedural history of the case is extremely complex–I seem to remember Defendant Shkreli might have made a deal with the Government to stay out of custody pending sentencing, and there were probably conditions linked to that.

(*) In other words, I have *no* MORAL reservations!

  • djcoastermark

Hi Y’all and WAY O/T but, been too busy to be on much. Haven’t got much done since the storm because of some little guy that landed on our doorstep monday night. We came home after getting a bite to eat around 9:30 pm, and this poor little abandoned baby squirrel jumped on Hubs foot at the front door and wouldn’t let go. How he ever survived being blown away and killed during Irma is beyond me. He only weighs between 3 1/2 to 4 ounces. He is still only nursing as we quickly found out, he didn’t know how to drink yet. Luckily I had an irrigating syringe around in my first aid kit and filled it with some warm milk and natural applesauce. We became instantly attached. Next day we got some cat’s milk for him at the only pet store in town that was open. They were out of ant sort of crate so we had to use an old dish tub for his bed. He needed to be nursed every 2 to 3 hours and was very clingy and needy. I quickly made him a rug tree and other toys of sticks n stuff, but the minute either of us left his sight he came running and making all kinds of noise. Needless to say, he slept in the bed with us in his tub for the past 2 nights. (he even purrs, if you can call it that, when happy) Today was the first day we have had phone service so I was frantically calling squirrel rescues. Finally tonight a really cool Vet who is with the SPCA came to get him. She assured us she would be taking good care of him, as she has done so many times for squirrels. She is a squirrel rehabilitater, meaning, raises orphans to the point that they can be released back into the wild. We became so quickly attached to the little guy that just writing this is making me tear up. Hubs saved the washcloth we used to clean him up as it has his scent on it. It’s like a puppy or kitten scent I guess. Anyway, here’s a few pics. Cuteness alert, He’s a handsome little guy ! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/44e4c5cd4202ab34ecc816248ffe0bf9e828003d4759a4229b24e852d71c41e7.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/fab071c2ba2680b80641411094157e48610e526a85025dbb18293c7c47292ea8.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/5deafa0fb3c0ff0f14a32878b38110ddac6c426383f3dba1beb718fe2d6cb84d.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/3bc12921d1362c3fba8c7ed78c9dd7b260b476c372fcc4610d691742ce03d6db.jpg

    • Treant

      Squeee!

Careful, or you just made a friend for life. ETA: Assuming he’s released nearby, of course.

    • safari

      Thank you for saving him.

      • djcoastermark

There is no way I couldn’t, he was such a bundle of joy and fun.

        • Hryflex

So sweet. I am conflicted about squirrels. I generally love then, but they destroyed every apple on my Duchess of Oldenburg tree, pulling them off, taking one bite, not liking it, and going for the next one.

          • safari

I have a small scar after being bitten by one. It was mostly my fault though: he got trapped in our fireplace and injured while running around our one morning after a couple weeks of emerging at night and eating food in the kitchen. I picked him up and *chomp*.

          • Hryflex

            OW!

          • djcoastermark

I learned the hard way you have to find a balance with them. Years ago, I used to be so frustrated when they would eat my prized Hibiscus flowers. I learned, if you can’t beat ’em, join em. They can be crafty critters if they sense you are out to get them and will try to out whit you. If you give them access to stuff they really like they will leave other things alone. My sister up north just can’t grasp that thought and is “fighting” squirrels . Now I have a lot, and I mean a lot, of them come by daily for treats and things. Especially now, their food sources because of the hurricane are gone. They will not have their natural food sources for many months to come. The acorn crop for them , the food the rely on for the winter, is wiped out. Just like the orange crop for us humans this winter from florida is reported to be gone too.

          • djcoastermark

Just an added, I could not not figure out why, after the storm when there were 1000’s of acorns on my patio and deck, the lil guys would not eat the acorns. I found out that acorns , until they reach a certain stage of maturity, are toxic to them. Now there is little food for them this winter as Irma striped the trees bare of acorns. It’s kind of my duty to help take care of them as so many are quite friendly with us. Heck, we even have several that we let in the house for a snack. Ok, I am a bit of an animal nut, I admit it.

          • greenmanTN

I love watching squirrels try to get into bird feeders and such. They are like a cross between Wile E Coyote and The Flying Wallendas when it comes to food. They are almost impossible to thwart.

          • djcoastermark

Yep, pretty much. In fact I now hang the old bird feeders on the fence as squirrel feeders when I go away on a trip. That an corn on the cob on a spike, they love it.

    • Phillip in L.A.

Awwwwww! Very cute! And great story, too! Unfortunate that it had to come out of such misfortune, but then again, most of the best stories, do.

Thanks for checking in and giving us the news, djcoastermark! 🙂

    • DaddyRay

He will find you someday in a park and you will have a joyous reunion – remember to carry nuts with you at all times

      • Robincho

I’m sure he never leaves home without at least two… 😉

    • SoCalGal20

Awwww I was wondering how he was doing. What a cutie! That’s great that you found a squirrel rehab professional. They’ll take good care of him!

      • djcoastermark

She even told us one she rehabbed and let free in her yard will still come into her house and sit with her on the couch to enjoy a few nuts. I felt he is left in good hands.

    • Lazycrockett

      I would have kept him/her.

      • djcoastermark

We really wanted to except we will be going out of town for a few weeks soon. Due to his age he will be needing round the clock care which wouldn’t be possible right now. However, should the opportunity arise again, the vet said we were doing the right thing and if we were willing to rehab one, she would be glad to step us through the process. It is very labor intensive to reacclimate a squirrel to the wild after human contact. It can take 4 to 6 months to do it properly. Hubs and I both agree we are up for it and are considering becoming “rehabbers” in the near future.

        • coram nobis

You did a good thing, and maybe this “rehabber” volunteer gig could be more good experiences.

          • djcoastermark

            We’re hoping.

          • TuuxKabin

The two youse are naturals. I remember photos of other squirrels with you.

          • djcoastermark

They still come around daily. Some have had babies and as they grow up come around for treats too. Since the storm their normal food supply is gone, they are coming to us for food.

        • SoCalGal20

That’s great! I’m sure you guys would make awesome rehabbers. That was one lucky squirrel that found his way to you guys.Your future as rehabbers was meant to be.

    • billbear1961

That was very good of you to look after him!

      I hope he’ll be okay!

There’s no way you could keep him?

      Could you get him back?

Would you know for sure it was him?

      • djcoastermark

Because we are going away several times in the next month, we can’t. The vet said she has placed over 30 and has now 10 of her own because of the storm, and the calls keep coming in. That’s why, once our trips are done we are considering becoming rehabbers.

        • UrsusArctos

That’s a slippery slope. *grin* Last spring I had a raccoon kit fall out of a nest and got it to volunteer rehabbers. They had YUGE Sterilite tubs with 8 small guys in the house, pens, and fenced areas to prepare them for release in a wildlife refuge.

          • djcoastermark

Glad you too, gave another little being a chance at a life. Getting a raccoon ready to release must really be a task.

          • UrsusArctos

These guys seem to have a good track record and treat the babies like their other pets, then gradually distance themselves the juveniles and socialize them with other near adults for release.

          • djcoastermark

I was told that it’s best to have at least 2 babies of the same age grow up together. This way they learn to interact with other squirrels. Otherwise, it is much harder for a single raised one to interact when released as an adult. Also the rehabber still must have daily play time with the little critter, making it harder to wean them from humans.

    • whollyfool

You two are too good to all animals, large and small, to be true. But there you are.

Been following your comments thru the ordeal. Happy to read a ‘happy ending,’ tears and separation anxieties notwithstanding. Looking forward to more reports as to how things progress.

Thinking of both of you and the good work you do for the wee ones, and still manage to have a good time.

          Best.

Aww, cute little squirrel guy. Well done.

    • fuzzybits

Awww,he’s cute. We did the same once except with a cardinal that a neighbor cat had in his mouth. Luckily I walked outside at the right time and yelled and he dropped it. We have a rescue here that just deals with birds so we took it to be rehabilitated. About two months later they called and asked if we wanted to see it released but we couldn’t make it at the time.

      • djcoastermark

Timing is everything, isn’t it ? I can’t imagine what would have happened to our little guy if we hadn’t been walking in the door right then. As it was, he must have been blown out of his nest Sunday night or Monday morning at the peak of the storm. So already he had not been nursed for many hours. He also had a lot of scrapes and I’m sure bruises. At 3 to 4 ounces in 100 mph winds, who knows how far he had been thrown through the wind?

Nope! But if they can use Trump as leverage against Ryan and McConnell or actually get something going on DACA or whatever then it will be worth it. But, of course he’s not trustworthy and I think Chuck and Nancy are fully aware of that.

No. But using him to destroy the GOP is beneficial.

        Then the trap closes.

        • bambinoitaliano

I like to see him piss off the GOP trying to get the Dems take over the House. A win-win for the Dems.

I just hope they keep in mind that he’s perfidious as hell and always have a backup plan ready. That said, I heard he actually gets along better with Schumer on a personality level and is digging the media actually being nice-ish to him over this instead of saying he’s either a traitor or a KKK Dragon.

      • SoCalGal20

All they have to do is feed his ego, give him some chocolate cake and he’ll do whatever. At least as long as they’re present. I’m sure they don’t trust him at all. But, if positive reinforcement works on him then he might start doing some of the things they suggested. The issue, of course, is that the Republican leadership won’t go for any of this. It will be interesting to see what happens because I suppose if Trump actually gets on board with Chuck and Nancy’s proposals it could be some leverage against the Rs in Congress.

        • greenmanTN

Weird factoid: In the late Victorian/Edwardian era, when the British were exploring Egypt and bringing tons of artifacts back with them, they had too many mummies to deal with. Minor government functionaries, servants, cats, etc. They were stacking them up like cordwood. So eventually many of them were ground up finely and used as a pigment in oil paints, for a color named Mummy Brown. (Brown from the bitumen, dehydrated flesh, and other materials used in embalming.) Some artists, upon learning that their paints contained actual human remains, are said to have given their tubes of Mummy Brown “Christian” burials.

I’ve always thought I’d like to write a story involving Mummy Brown, involving a curse of some sort, natch.

          • JCF

What counts as the difference, here on a blog? I get it, when people joke about Drumpf and guillotines. That’s pretty clearly only a fantasy.

But last night, were these two posts in succession:

“Someone should just shoot this prick!”

“It is increasingly difficult to escape the conclusion that the gangster oligarchs should be put to death.” (I was particularly loathe to call out the one who posted this, coming from a fave JMGer)

To ME, those two posts were over-the-line: not fantasy guillotines, but all-too-real-‘Merkan GUNS, and a blanket call for execution.

What do you think a_s? Others? [Cognizant, as always, that this is JOE’S BLOG, not your/my own.]

          • another_steve

The line between “just joking” and “violent/not funny” can be subtle. Particularly on a blog where all we have are words to look at and none of the commenter’s body language.

Some folks here are better than others at communicating “just joking.” I try my best in my comments but I’m sure I don’t always succeed. Smilies and the like are always a good idea when you want to communicate “just joking.”

Joe repeatedly warns us against voicing serious death wishes and the like in our comments. Right wing monsters peruse these comment threads, I’m sure, in their never-ending quest to demonize the left.

So I think we all need to be careful with our language.

      • edrex

    This is true.

At one time, (maybe still) the Rikers Island prison complex security infrastructure was controlled by software in an Oracle database running on Digital (nee Compaq, nee HP,) Alpha VMS servers. I ported the lock manager* for the Oracle DB Server to Alpha VMS.

That software literally opened and closed the various cell doors at the command of the security officers at Rikers Island. I helped them debug some issues.

It would be nice if Shkreli were locked down by means of some of my software.

I hate how fucked up software implementation and deployment has become. I don’t know what to do.

It’s probably a violation of discretion, but one of our engineers submitted a package in Python where every line was punctuated with a semicolon.

Semicolons have no function in Python.

He also implemented a server when I told him on three separate occasions not to implement a server.

After that, we told him his services are no longer required.

          • safari

I sat at breakfast one day with a man known in some Python circles. It’s not his specialty but he has many talents and uses Python to extend his notoriety. He complained about the lack of discipline in scientific software. I asked which aspects. He said all of it.

          • coram nobis

Python? Aspects? Did he mention the Quality Assortment?

          • safari

The conversation wasn’t python specific: it was a broad condemnation of scientific software.

Oracle. A nice little toy database. Let’s talk Db2 on z/OS.

      • Bad Tom

I once got to help configure an Oracle RAC replacement for a DB2 on z/OS. The first thing I did was triple check that their statement:

        2 TB of RAM

        was correct.

ME: There are two TERABYTES of RAM in the one server?
        THEM: Yes.
ME: We’re gonna need a pretty big RAC cluster for this. Why are we replacing it?
        THEM: Larry says.
        ME: OK.

Hey, SoCalGal! Did you see the LA Times article today on how California will be pivotal to flipping the house? They list the Republicans they think will or might lose re-election, from most vulnerable to least vulnerable: Issa, Steve Knight, Denham, Rohrabacher, Valadao, Royce, Mimi Walters, Duncan Hunter and Devin Nunes (although they admit Hunter and Nunes will be tough for Dems to beat).

Obviously, they don’t consider McCarthy or LaMalfa to be even remotely vulnerable, which sounds correct to me.

Trump has no political compass. Zero. He’s winging it, politically.

The “wall” was just red meat for his deplorables. Phony stuff. He knows that if undocumented immigrants are truly prevented from sneaking into the country, his monthly expense for mowing the lawns and picking up the garbage around his properties will skyrocket.

Big Business, in general, knows that. Which is why true immigration reform has been so illusive.

The company I work for is paranoid about security and privacy. The later is due to having 1 company standard and an EU arm that’s substantial. We even have a ‘white hat’ hacker department and all they do is try and hack our products and our business partners.

          • Bad Tom

A White Hat department is essential if you are serious about data security.

The computer industry is in real trouble, and we won’t admit it.

          • DaddyRay

Same here with regards to the ‘white hat’ hacker group – some of them are fun to have lunch with and hear the stories of things they have found at prior jobs

one of my favorites was this girl was doing a pen test and had a meeting with the group they were auditing and the admin accidentally was typing the password into the plain text user field and used the password TITST!TSTIT$ and didn’t notice until they looked up at the screen

          • DaddyRay

One of my other favorite stories is an admin with root had this bad habit of leaving his computer unlocked when he went to the restroom or the printer. One of the people who got aggravated by the lack of security went to his open terminal and sent an email to the team (minus the guy who left his computer unlocked) and sent an email saying:

I am working with the cafeteria committee to better relations. If you are unable to return your dishes or silverware to the cafeteria, feel free to leave them on my desk and I will return them for you.

I am sure you know what happened next. 🙂
Unfortunately the person who sent the email was reprimanded as well for using someone else computer. 🙁

As long as its not one of those “loathing of modern gay life” trips down memory lane.

      • Reality.Bites

In The Man On The Platform, Ben Whishaw (London Spy, Spectre) returns from the trenches of the First World War, while a hundred years later, Alan Cumming (The Good Wife) reflects on gay marriage in Something Borrowed.

More Anger finds Russell Tovey (Him and Her, Being Human) playing a gay actor in the 1980s, and Rebecca Front (War and Peace, Humans) contemplates her very particular marriage in Missing Alice.

Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones, Decline and Fall), Kadiff Kirwan (Black Mirror, Chewing Gum), Ian Gelder (Snatch, Game of Thrones) and Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk, HIM) appear respectively in A Perfect Gentleman, Safest Spot In Town, I Miss The War and A Grand Day Out, each examining the very different attitudes and social changes in gay men’s lives over the century.

The films are written by Matthew Baldwin, Jon Bradfield, Michael Dennis, Keith Jarrett, and Gareth McLean, who are writing for television for the first time, alongside established screenwriters Jackie Clune, Brian Fillis and Gatiss himself.

      Hi there!

  • Helen Damnation™

I normally wouldn’t celebrate the imprisonment of a human being but in this case…

    • Cackalaquiano

Same. I always feel a twinge of sympathy, but this guy is so unrepentant. And he won’t change. Just jail him and remove him from society.

    • UrsusArctos

‘sOK. He barely qualifies as a human being. Not need to feel guilt. He doesn’t.

Wow Rachel got a live interview.

    • Reality.Bites

This story is three weeks old.

      • JCF

Yeah, I’m afraid Drumpf’s going to get a bump in the polls. Not large, but a definite uptick. Hurry, Mueller!

  • Max_1

Remember: We’re supposed to buy into the notion Trump isn’t a racist…

      What’s Bannon doing down there?

      • Lazycrockett

        supper.

      • JCF

Satan was trying to suck him down…but he got stuck!

    • DaddyRay

So that is where Rush went when he evacuated

      • coram nobis

        “Evacuated”?

        • JCF

          …his bowels.

          • TuuxKabin

            Oh Lard.

    • safari

Paris, I recall, just throws a giant ball down their sewers to clean the muck.

      • UrsusArctos

They have commercial pipeline “pigs” I’m surprised they don’t use a variation on that for maintenance instead of dealing with megabux repairs.

  • Max_1

Success!!! I got banned… It may have been my post about Bannon’s connection to Russian propaganda to soothe their White Supremacist “feelings”…

    • Secure

I got that same banned message there several weeks back, but now I am able to comment again. Hmmmm

      • Max_1

Maybe on just the thread… ?

        • That_Looks_Delicious

No, I’ve tried to comment on there to rub it in, on brand new threads and I couldn’t because it said I was banned, and then a month later I try again and it lets me.

          • Max_1

Ahhh… So I’m in “time out”.

          • Helen Damnation™

I love getting arseholes banned at TheHill. Something I do.

        • Secure

Yeah could be just a thread.

    • That_Looks_Delicious

They’ve banned me twice. I think when they ban you it only lasts for a certain amount of time.

  • safari

    Sam, I swear.

  • Cuberly

I know we’ve strained our jaws with FOX jaw drops, but…this is a new…..level.

        Fascist Pageant?

The talent competition includes: Are you able to ignore old greebly white dudes hitting on you at all times while feigning flattery?

        • safari

Also: How will you hound Hillary until she dies?

          • Cuberly

….are you willing to have a direct dial to Lady Clarol?

          • Lazycrockett

Kicker is, Hillary is on a yoga, alternative nostril breathing hot sauce lifestyle and it seems to be working for her.

          • Max_1

Well hey… She hasn’t fainted in over a year.
Must be doing the Lady some good. 😛

          • coram nobis

She’s also wearing a Liberty cap and working on her knitting.

        • safari

    • Lazycrockett

Hannity seems more blotted than usual, seems to be on the Bannon diet.

      • Cuberly

He’s the judge in this pageant. He can look like Bannon after a 10 week bender and he’d still get clear to host the final round.

      • coram nobis

Vodka and cornflakes. The Breakfast of Champions now that we’re in the Putin Administration.

        • safari

Nah. Baileys goes with cornflakes. The vodka goes in the nalgene bottle for work.

          • coram nobis

That’s right; Bailey’s is a good dairy product.

        • Lazycrockett

Cornflakes will do that to you.

          • safari

They’re supposed to make you stop touching yourself.

I thoughts that was Graham crackers…

          • safari

Similar root principles. Look up the Battle Creek Sanitarium. A somewhat satire movie called the Road to Wellsville is based on it.

      • SoCalGal20

        They should but they won’t.

      • JCF

How can I leave if I was never on it? ;-/

        • TuuxKabin

I’m sending the link to everyone who’s always bugging me to be on FaceBook so we can stalk one another and others, letting them know to STFU about it, and the link is the reason.

I don’t feel I can suggest they leave it, but shed some light on what FB’s been about.

  • billbear1961

Well, Trump is terrified by his deplorables’ FURY at his deal with the Dems; so, from what I’m reading, he’s denying, in tweets, that there ever was one!

So much for that–didn’t last long.

One knew his word was worth NOTHING.

I’m glad justice was done. He was a threat. And a douche.

  • Mike__in_Houston

This news gets my day off to a great start. “He’ll now have to fight the case on the inside”: the most beautiful words in the English language.

When are these dickheads going to realize that just because The Screaming Cheeto gets away with shit like this on a regular basis doesn’t mean that they can. Well, not all the time anyway; the trick is to figure out the boundaries, and this douchebag guessed wrong. The way he has been consistently pushing the envelope since his trial, it was bound to happen eventually.

Anyway, asshole, be sure to tell all the Bubbas hello for me. Of course, your mouth is going to be too full a lot of the time to do that…
